The following is a pure work of fiction and is the property of the author.

If you are looking to get off quick, read something else. This story is presented in serial form and you'll read a lot of background, before you get any mindblowing sex scenes.

If you are bothered by same sex relationships, read no farther. This is a story about the interaction of males with each other in a fanciful setting. It's a story with some sex, not sex with some story.

Thanks to those who are encouraging me to continue with the presentation of this series.

I have not acknowledged e-mails, instead using my time to write. I do appreciate hearing from you. Hope that you continue to enjoy. LJB

To Fulfill a Prophesy

Section 27

Dale - Sunday evening

The flight home had passed quickly. The pilots arrived as expected and we were all prepared for them. The plane was back in the air a little before 2:00 p.m. Ted's announcement this morning had caused all of us to reflect on the events that had been happening. Jason and I thought it unusual Davey and Denny had sort of fallen into everyone's lives so unexpectedly, but we could explain it as a chance of fate. Now another boy, an orphan, enters the `castle' and ends up on Davey's bed from 1500 miles away. That goes past unusual to really strange.

When Ted presented The Prophesy to us at our last meeting, we found it interesting, but neither of us really believed it was true. The more we talked about it and the things we were becoming aware about, the more trouble we had maintaining our doubts. If people as smart as Ted and Dean and Master Chen thought these events were coming to pass, then maybe we should be looking at this with a more accepting attitude.

For some reason, known only to them, the boys decided they wanted to be near to me during the flight home. Shortly after we took off, Denny came over to where I was sitting on one of the couches and asked if he could sit with me. I told him he could and patted the space beside me. He just stood looking at me until it dawned on me he meant on my lap, not beside me. I reached out and he moved into my grasp, so I could guide him onto my lap. He cuddled right in tight against my chest, leaning his head onto my shoulder, so that his forehead brushed my cheek and didn't move. For most of the trip, he didn't move. I thought he might go to sleep, but he just sat there resting against me. Within a very short time, the other two boys moved over and sat on either side of me and stayed there until they were called away.

Ted seemed to note my situation as he passed through from the cockpit to the section near the rear of the plane, where he and Dean sat with Mr. Chen, since we first boarded. They had a lengthy discussion which, from the looks on their faces, did not resolved any of their questions. Ted left his seat and came over to where we were sitting.

"Davey, would you come back and talk with us for a few minutes ?" Ted asked.

"I'd rather stay here with Dale." Davey replied. He wasn't refusing his Dad, but it was clear he wasn't prepared to be separated from his group right now. Ted gazed at him thoughtfully.

"Would it be all right with you, if we came over here to talk with you ?" Ted persisted. Davey paused a moment and then nodded his assent to his Dad. Ted, Dean and Mr. Chen moved over and sat around the couch which we occupied.

"Shall I move out of here for a few minutes ?" I asked Ted.

"NO !" was the unanimous response voiced immediately from the three smaller bodies pressed up against me. I looked to my Boss and he shook his head, confirming their response.

"Davey," Ted started, "are you guys using Dale as protection from us ?"

"Do we need protection from you ?" Davey responded.

"No, never." Ted assured him.

"Then it would not be necessary for us to use Dale in such a manner, would it ?" Davey posed.

"Davey, I'm sorry if we are approaching this in the wrong manner." Ted told him. "You know we only want to help. We need your help to understand what is happening and what we should do next."

"Why must you do anything ?" Jamie asked. "Everything appears to be as it should. Sometimes doing nothing and allowing events to unfold as they happen is the biggest help of all." This was the first time Jamie had ever expressed to any of the adults his awareness that anything was happening.

"Do you know about the Prophesy ?" Chen asked no one in particular.

"We know." Davey answered. That was it. No one had said so, but you just knew the questions and answers were done. I had very limited idea of what most of the conversation meant, but I could sense that it was over.

"Dad." Davey called to Ted. "We need you to be our `Dads' and to let us be your sons. We all need our parent more than any other kind of help. We have to be children and learn, before we can be anything else. We can not always be right or even always behave correctly and we need your guidance. We love everyone here and need all of your love to be able to fulfill our destiny. Please."

"You boys are all my sons above everything else, no matter what happens." Ted told Davey. "I love you all and I always will and I know Dean and Mr. Chen feel the same way."

"Don't forget the rest of us." I said, uncertain if I should interfere. "I've seen this weekend how important you all are to each of us. Whether its as parent, or brother, or just friend, everyone here loves all of you boys." I felt three bodies press tighter into me as the other two boys leaned their heads against my arms.

"Kevin will need you, most of all." Davey said. It was a minute or so, before I realized he was talking to me. I must have shown my surprise, because I was really shocked. "You must remember no matter how he appears, he is really still a boy and needs you, even when he doesn't know it. He has a lot of hurt he is trying to deal with and you, Jason and the new one, can help him master it."

"Me ?" I said, looking at Ted. He shrugged his shoulders. "Why would he need me ?"

"You are a kind, insightful, loving teacher." Davey said. "You also know how to provide the type of discipline and direction to which Kevin will respond. He will trust you. You also have the strength to use the new one." It was over again. The discussion was done although no one had said so. The other men sensed it too. But who or what was, `the new one'. Why would he refer to Digger in that way ?

Ted and Dean both beckoned to the two older boys. They each got up from my side and went over to their Dads, who took them into their laps and cuddled them. Not what you would expect young teens to appreciate, but they both just soaked it up. Denny remained where he had stationed himself, in my lap and when I looked at his face I could see a big smile on it. He had been silent during the conversations and I couldn't help but wonder, how much he knew, or understood, about what was happening.

We landed at about 4:30 and the people shuttle was there to transport us all to the `castle'. Denny had remained with me, sitting beside me as we landed and then inserting his hand in mine and holding on to it all the way to the residence. When we stepped off the shuttle, Jamie came over to me.

"I will take Denny." he said, reaching out for Denny's other hand. "You need to take Davey with Uncle Ted and Dad to see Kevin." Denny took Jamie's hand and released mine. Ted heard what Jamie said and called me over to where he and Dean were standing.

"The boys seem determined you are to be closely involved with this, `Kevin'." he noted. "How do you feel about this ?"

"You know I will do anything I can to help, either of you , or the boys," I responded, "but if Davey meant what I think he meant, even though he has no way of knowing about my past, you may not appreciate the discipline standard he has suggested."

We trust Davey and we trust you." Ted told me. Dean nodded in agreement. "You do what you feel is necessary and I believe Davey will let you know if it is not what he intended. We will support you in what you decide is needed."

Mr. Chen took Jamie, still holding Denny by the hand, with Digger and Anson to set up their rooms for this visit. Jason was asked to come with our group and Davey posed no objection. Jason and I headed to the Security Office where Kevin was being looked after and Ted took Dean and Davey to the Library at the front of the mansion. When we arrived at the Security Office and I had my first look at Kevin, two things struck me. The first was this was no boy, here was a full grown man. He looked to be about 20 years old, about my height of 5'10", with jet black hair, but what should have been bright blue eyes were clouded and sad looking. He had a handsome face and appeared to be solidly built, but not heavy. His slim waist and narrow hips made his shoulders and chest seem bigger than they actually were. Arms and legs appeared in proportion to the rest of his body.

The second thing I noticed was he was a filthy mess. He was dirty. His hair was greasy and his face had dirt on it. I just knew before we even got near him he was going to smell. His clothes were worn and tattered and he looked very much like he had been on the road for a week, which of course he had. I told Jason a quick plan I thought would work to our advantage. The guard outside the room unlocked the door for us and Jason entered the room while I stayed with the outside man. When the door first opened, Kevin looked up startled and saw my eyes fixed on him. He stared, searching my eyes for a moment and finding what he was seeking, slowly bowed his head. Jason sent the inside guard out to me, but left the door open so Kevin could hear and see what was going on. The outside guard had returned to slump in his chair and the inside man came out and sat on the edge of the desk.

"How long have you guys been on duty with him, today ?" I asked.

"Since bloody eight this morning." The seated one replied without looking up at me.

"And has he had anything to eat since you got him." I asked further.

"I gave him a sandwich about 1 o'clock." the inside man reported. "He had eggs and toast at breakfast time." I looked through the log book.

"Has he been in that room the whole time since he was found this morning ?" I further inquired.

"Yeah." the seated man responded. I slammed the log book onto the desk, startling both of them.

"That's Yeah, Captain', or Yeah, Sir'. I said in a loud, forceful voice. Both guards immediately jumped to their feet and stood alert. I could see Kevin really take notice. "Mr. Tanner's orders, written in the log, indicate care was to be taken of the boy. How is keeping him dirty, feeding him little, and locking him in a room all day, taking care of him ? This boy is about to meet with Mr. McAdams and the Chief of Security. Do you really think he's been prepared for such a meeting ?"

"No, Sir." was hesitantly muttered back to me.

"You two will meet me tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m., in the Chief's office." I told them. "Until then, your relieved and suspended. Go home." The two men had shocked looks on their faces and then appeared worried their jobs were at stake. A brisk `Yes, Sir' preceded their exit. I picked up the telephone from the desk and dialed Ted. When he answered, I told him we were going to be an hour, it couldn't be helped. He accepted my assessment and acknowledged the change. I stepped into the room and asked Jase if he would get a couple sandwiches and some juice and milk and bring them to our suite.

"Boy !" I called out looking directly at him. He looked back. "Come with me." I took off at a fast walk without looking back at him. He had to scurry to get up and follow me, but he managed, without losing sight of me. I traveled through the halls, turning corners here and there, hearing him run occasionally to keep up with me. Eventually, I stopped in front of the door to our suite. Keying in the entry code, I opened the door and motioned for him to enter. He did so, again without hesitation. I closed the door and led him in, through the bedroom and into the bathroom.

"Strip." I instructed him. He just stood there. "Now." I told him more forcefully. He immediately started to unbutton his shirt. I got a bar of soap and a wash rag out for him, then turned on the shower. When I turned back, he was standing in his underwear. "All the way, boy." I said and with a slight pause he finished undressing. I handed him the washing items and guided him by his shoulder into the shower. "Make sure you soap and wash everything." I instructed him. Once he was wet, I told him to stick his head outside and when he did I poured shampoo on it. I then rubbed it all through his hair. It hardly raised any suds, because his hair was so greasy, so I had him rinse and did it again. This time we got a nice lather going and for the first time there was a smile on his face. I had him turn around and I scrubbed his shoulders, back and the back of his thighs with the wash rag. I then told him to finish up, but not to leave the shower until I had inspected him and gave him permission.

Jase came in with the food I had requested. I asked him to find out if the boy had anything which he had brought with him, like a backpack or anything else and if he did to bring it into the bedroom. He said he would check and took off again. I put the food items out on the dining table and returned to the bathroom. He told me he was done, so I went in and checked him over.

"Did you wash your feet ? I asked. He was going to lie to me, but he stopped and looked into my eyes and then shook his head `no'. "How about your ears ?" He soaped up the rag and washed his ears thoroughly and then bent down to do his feet. "Between the toes as well." I reminded him. When he was done, he presented himself for inspection again. "You look good, Boy." I told him.

"My name in Kevin." he told me quietly. I didn't acknowledge his statement.

He stepped out of the shower stall and I handed him a big towel. I took another towel and turning him around so his back was to me, I dried his hair briskly. I then took out a new comb, a new toothbrush, some toothpaste, deodorant stick, shaving cream and a safety razor and laid them next to the sink. Jase appeared at the door. He shrugged his shoulders indicating that nothing had been located.

"Boy," I called to him over my shoulder, "where did you stash your backpack." He looked over to me with a surprised look on his face. "This is Jason, my partner. Tell him where it is so he can go and get it for you." There was a pause. "I won't appreciate having to ask you again." I said turning to look at him.

"It's out in the first flower garden as you come in from the road." he told Jason. Jason acknowledged the directions and left.

"Use the stuff on the counter and then come out into the bedroom." I instructed him.

"What about my clothes ?" he asked. I had removed them while he showered.

"What can't be salvaged and washed, will likely be burned." I told him.

"But what am I going to wear ? That's all I got." he whined, as only a teenager can.

"Do as I told you and we'll see what we can do, Boy." I responded.

"My name is Kevin." he told me once more, a little louder.

I went out to the bedroom and started looking through my clothes. Kevin was not quite as big, but I thought I had some items that were a little tight on me that would do the job. I went over to the bathroom door and handed him one of my bathrobes. He finished in a few minutes and came out, so I led him out to the dining table.

"We'll be having dinner with the `family' in about an hour and a quarter, so this will tie you over until then." I told him. He reached for one of the sandwiches and I caught his arm midway and pushed it firmly down onto the table. His head snapped around to stare at me.

"Excuse me. I didn't hear you." I said to him sternly, staring directly at him.

"Thank you" he said quietly.

"My name is Dale." I told him. "You can call me Dale, or Sir." I continued to hold his arm.

"Thank you, Sir." he replied, lowering his eyes from mine. I released his arm and leaving him to eat, went back to the bedroom to find some other clothes. He came back into the bedroom about five minutes later.

"Do you have any spare clothing in the bag Jase is getting ?" I asked.

"A couple T-shirts and some underwear, but nothing clean." he replied. I asked if he wore boxers or briefs and he indicated briefs and I found a pair with a happy face design on them. I indicated the items on the bed and told him to pick out what he wanted, but to remember that he was having dinner with new people. He chose a suitable combination. I looked at his feet and they seemed about my size, so I put out a pair of socks and shoes for him to try.

Jase came in again, carrying a dark green backpack and put it on the bed. I told Kevin to take any dirty clothes out of it and throw them in the laundry hamper. I informed him any items would be back to him in the morning. When he had done as I instructed and tied up the shoes which fit him like they were his own, he looked like a nice, clean cut, young man. I picked up the phone and rang Ted.

"All right, Boy." I said to him. "You look good. Let's go meet the Bosses."

"Wait a minute." he said, but I just kept on walking. "Dale, please, Sir." he called out and I stopped. "Why do you call me, Boy and not, Kevin ?" he asked.

"I haven't decided yet," I told him, "whether I like you, or not." Without waiting for him to say any more, I headed for the door. He followed in behind me and Jason brought up the rear.

Ted - Sunday evening

When Dale let me know he would need an hour with Kevin, before bringing him to us, I suggested the others should go and do whatever they wanted and we would all meet back at the scheduled time. Dean let Mr. Chen know dinner would have to be at seven or half past, then went off to tend to some items. Davey was left with me and he came over and stood beside the chair I was sitting in and put his arm around my neck.

"It must be very hard accepting and loving me sometimes." Davey said. He sat on the arm of the chair. "I do love you."

"I haven't found it very hard at all, but we have only been together for one week and that is not very long for all the things which have been happening." I answered him. "And I love you and your brother, more than I believed I would ever care for anyone."

"When are you going to tell Uncle Dean the truth ?" he asked me. I looked up into his eyes and saw he was troubled by his question. I reached over and pulled him down onto my lap.

"I have never lied to Dean." I told Davey. "I have not told him everything about Prophesy, but I really have not lied to him."

"How can you say you love Denny and me," he questioned, "when by not telling Uncle Dean, you are planning to sacrifice yourself and leave us without you ? Now that I understand, I know it is why I have had these feelings and fears about losing you."

"I do love you, but I have loved your Uncle Dean for so much longer." I tried to explain. "I didn't know I would fall in love with you and Denny as well, when we decided how to save Dean. I hope to give you all the love and attention I can, for as long as I can. What more can any parent try to do ? Your Uncle Dean loves you too and he will never allow you to be alone. Even with you guys loving me, I don't know if I would survive, if something more happened to Dean."

"I know you have lots of reasons you think are really justified, Dad." he told me. "If you could just trust us enough to let events unfold the way they're meant to be, you would find they are not what you expect. Even so, we really think you should tell Uncle Dean the whole truth."

"The whole truth about what ?" Dean asked as he walked into the room.
