The following is a pure work of fiction and is the property of the author.

If you are looking to get off quick, read something else. This story is presented in serial form and you'll read a lot of background, before you get any mindblowing sex scenes.

If you are bothered by same sex relationships, read no farther. This is a story about the interaction of males with each other in a fanciful setting. It's a story with some sex, not sex with some story.

Thanks to those who are encouraging me to continue with the presentation of this series.

I have not acknowledged e-mails, instead using my time to write. I do appreciate hearing from you. Hope that you continue to enjoy. LJB

To Fulfill a Prophesy

Section 38

Davey - Saturday morning

Last night was about the best time I have ever had. I was really nervous about it `cause I had never been to a dress up dinner before. The most dressed up for dinner I have ever had to be, was putting a shirt on, before sitting down at the table. Dad came to our room and helped us to get ready. Someone had laid out all the items we would need on our beds.

"Dad, why do people dress up to go and eat ? I asked.

"People like to look their best, so others will think well of them. Sometimes it's just to show off, sometimes it's to create an impression in someone else's mind. It's a tradition, which has come from the class systems, to which society still clings. It also makes many people happy to be involved in this type of social activity."

"Who will be there tonight ?" Denny wanted to know.

"You, Davey and me," Dad answered, "Uncle Dean, Jamie, Kevin, Tim, Dale, Jason, Anson and Digger. Just the family at this one. Oh, Brian was invited too. He has been working closely with us and we thought we would like him to spend some social time with us."

"Isn't Mr. Chen going to come ?" Denny worried.

"He'll be there," Dad replied, "but you know what he's like. He'll be busy the whole time making sure everything is done correctly." Of course, Dad was right. Mr. Chen would be at his post beside the buffet, checking on everything as it happened. I still had never seen him eat anything.

Denny and I put on the clothes which had been laid out. Dad had to loan us cuff links, because Uncle Dean and I had never gone back to look at the ones we saw, when we had been shopping and I forgot about them after that. Dad also had to tie our ties for us. He said it would take some time to learn how to do them ourselves. I tied Denny's shoe laces for him. He hadn't yet got the hang of making bows. A quick brush of my hair and a comb through Denny's and we were all ready. Dad said we looked really handsome, but I think he has to say that, because he's our Dad.

We went back with Dad to his suite, while he got dressed. It didn't take him long `cause he's use to wearing suits all the time. He looked really sharp when he was done. We have seen Dad in his business suits often, but this was different , this was dress up. He had on special cuff links. They were made from black stone and each one had a diamond in the corner. When he was ready, we went downstairs to the Sitting Room, where everyone was meeting before going in to dinner. We were the first ones there, but before long everyone else had arrived. When the big clock in the Library struck eight o'clock, Mr. Chen stood at the doorway, announcing, "Dinner is served". We all went into the Dining Room and took our usual seats, except Brian sat next to Anson.

The Dining Room had been decorated with flowers on the table and on the buffet. Everything looked very nice and neat. There were plates on the table I had never seen before. They were big with special edges around the borders. At each place, there were different size plates and lots of forks and knives. Also a bunch of glasses. Uncle Dean stood up.

"This is our first special family dinner together," he said, "and we thought it would be an opportunity for everyone to get some exposure to formal dining. We want to have some fun tonight, but we also want you to learn a little as we go along. This will be an eight course meal, so don't look for seconds on the first few servings, or you'll never get through the whole thing. Our younger members will not be invited to try more than one or two tastes of the wines and their companions will do the pouring for them. Enjoy."

That started off our meal. Each time something was served, Uncle Dean or Dad or Tim would show us which utensils were used and which plates. We had soup and salad and a fish course and a pasta course and an entree and it just seemed to go on forever. Dad let both Denny and me have a sip of two different wines. One they call white, but it looked like ginger ale and the other was called red and it was. By the time they stopped bringing things in from the kitchen, I was so full, I didn't think I would ever eat again.

Uncle Dean said we would take a break, before dessert was served. Everyone just groaned when he said the word `dessert'. He said, this was a birthday celebration for his son and all his new nephews and what would a birthday celebration be without a few presents. Some of the staff brought in a bunch of packages wrapped in different coloured papers. There were several items for each of us boys. Really special for me was the pair of cuff links Dad gave both Denny and me. They were identical to his, the ones made from black stone and they also had a diamond in each one. Denny asked if they were real diamonds and I was surprised when Uncle Dean said, they were. Kevin got a lap top computer for school. The four big guys each gave us special presents, things they thought we would like. We ended up with shirts and sweaters and books and computer games and all sorts of great things.

When all the presents were opened and all the `thank yous' were delivered, Uncle Dean said there was one more item for each of us that had not been wrapped. The staff wheeled in three new bikes for Jamie, Denny and me. They were beautiful. We got up and went over to look them over. I think I felt Denny fall in love with his, right then and there. Uncle Dean said, they had discussed it and thought Kevin was getting a little too old for a bicycle, so they got him something else. The staff wheeled in a brand new Yamaha Off Road TT-R125 dirt bike. Kevin just sat there with a stunned look on his face and his mouth open. Uncle Dean told him, it could be used on the back property of the estate, but it wasn't to be taken out on the road. Kevin just sat there and nodded, still trying to take it all in.

After the last round of `thank yous' were completed, Uncle Dean said, it was time for dessert. A big cake was wheeled in. It had four sets of candles on it, with the right number around each of our names. Uncle Dean stood up with his glass.

"I'd like to toast our four birthday celebrants. Happy Birthday to each........." he stopped speaking right in the middle of his sentence. He was staring at the Dining Room doors. We all turned to look and there was a beautiful lady standing in the middle of the archway. Mr. Chen was standing just to the side, behind her.

"Well, I'm glad to see that I'm right on time for dessert." she said. All the men in the room stood up.

"Gentlemen," Uncle Dean said, "I introduce you to Jamie's mother, my ex-wife, Brenda."

"The storm has come." Denny muttered.

Kevin - Saturday morning

Jamie rose from the table and walked around it and over to his Mother. He offered her his arm and when she took it, he walked her over to an empty chair, which he pulled out and held for her, while she was seated.

"Oh, Dean." Brenda called out. "Eduardo is still out front with the taxi. We have no money changed to American funds, as yet. Will you please pay the taxi bill and take our bags up to our room."

"Mr. Chen, pay the cab bill please." Uncle Dean asked. "And give him a really big tip, I'm certain he earned it." The lady scowled at him. "Leave the bags in the front foyer. The lady will not be staying."

"Dad." Jamie said. "You promised you would let us deal with this." Uncle Dean looked up from the lady to Jamie and slowly nodded his head. "Mr. Chen. Would you please have my Mother's bags placed in the suite next to Dad's. They will be staying until Sunday and leaving on the plane, when I go."

"Yes, Master Jamie." Chen acknowledged, bowing.

"Oh, and Mr. Chen." Jamie called, Mr. Chen turned back to him. "Eduardo will have a hand gun in his pocket. Please see it is removed." His mother's head snapped up to him sharply with an astonished look on her face as Mr. Chen bowed once again.

"He carries it for our safety." she said to no one in particular. "Speaking of safety and security, Dean," she looked over to him, "yours seems pretty lax. I could have brought a weapon in here with me and you, or Jamie could be dead by now."

"I wouldn't bet on it." Dale said to her as he lifted the arm at his side and placed the gun he had been holding, back in it's holster." The others took this as their signal and Jason, Anson and Digger all replaced the weapons they had been holding out of sight, back into their holsters." Brenda took subtle note of the actual position her unannounced entrance had placed her in.

"Well, possibly I spoke too quickly." she acknowledged. "It seems Jamie is more secure than I first suspected. How quaint of you to include your security men in with you guests, Dean."

"The people here are our friends and family, Brenda." Uncle Dean said. "They also are our invited guests." He stressed the word invited'. "They are also the people who love and protect our son. If you can recover your lady' act, I would be pleased to introduce them to you."

Just then, Mr. Chen escorted a man into the dining room. The man was very good looking. He was about as tall as Dean and kind of looked like him. He had black hair and a tanned complexion. His wide shoulders and narrow waist were shown off by the trim suit which he wore. He appeared a little upset.

"That little man took my protection." he complained to Brenda. "And he took it from me by force."

"Oh, poor dear." Brenda cooed to him. "I am sure Mr. Chen will return it, before we go home. He just likes to know where everyone's toys are. Come sit next to me." Jamie moved back to his seat and the man sat next to Brenda.

"Gentlemen," Brenda said loudly, "this is my husband, Senor Eduardo de Sustoosa. Sweetheart, I was just about to meet all these charming gentlemen." Dean introduced everyone at the table. He introduced Denny, Davey and me as Dad's sons. I must admit, I was kind of pleased and proud when he did. "Ted, I am really surprised. But then Jamie has always spoken very highly of you. You just never seemed like the `father' type to me."

Well, I'm not surprised, Brenda." Ted replied. "You never seemed like the `mother' type to me, either." She gave him a dirty look.

"As I was saying, before we were interrupted," Dean said. " A toast to our four Birthday celebrants. May we all meet together, for many Birthday celebrations, to watch our favourite young men grow and prosper." Everyone stood, except the four of us and Brenda.

"To our favourite young men." everyone said together raising their glasses and then drinking. Dean asked the three other boys and me to come up and cut the cake. We each took a knife and all together we made slices in the big cake. Mr. Chen came over then and cut and served a piece of cake to each of us. He next gave a piece to everyone else. Eduardo had a piece, but Brenda did not want any. Coffee was served to the adults. I even got a cup. After everyone was finished their cake, I stood up.

"On behalf of my three new brother and myself, I would like to thank each of you for helping to celebrate our birthdays, past and present. We thank you for your very generous presents. We greatly appreciate them. What we appreciate most though, is the love and friendship each of you has given to us, not just tonight, but each and every day we have known you. Thank you, from all of us." Everyone clapped as I sat down. Dean stood.

"Thank you all for coming." Dean said. He then pushed his chair away from the table, got up and left the room.

"Dean, Dean. I want to talk to you." Brenda called after him. Dean just kept going. "You're going to have to talk to me." she called after him. Jamie got up and walked around the table and stood beside his Mother.

"Mr. Chen will see you and Eduardo to your suite, Mother." he said to her. "There will be a meeting in Dad's office tomorrow morning at 9:A.M.. What you need will be settled at that time. If you do not attend the meeting, then you will receive nothing." Jamie turned and he and Davey left the room and headed upstairs.

"Jamie, Jamie. Come back here." Brenda called to him in an uncertain voice. She slumped back in her chair and looked around. "Ted, what in the world has happened to my son ? What have all you people done to him ?"

"He's grown up, Brenda, and it's time for you to do the same." Dad said to her. "You had best do as he told you, or you will pay for it."

"I don't take orders from you." she growled. "And I certainly don't take instructions from my son."

"Brenda, do you remember The Prophesy of the Guardians ?" he asked. I could see from the look in her eyes she did. "Did you count the number of adopted sons I have ? And Jamie makes four. The Prophesy is true and it is more wonderful, than we had ever imagined. Do you think you walked in here so easily tonight, because of lax security. They knew you were coming. They know what you want. If you hope to come out of this with anything, you better be at the meeting in the morning."

"Your suite is this way, Madam." Mr. Chen said. She stared at Mr. Chen for a moment and then got up very quietly and followed him. Eduardo followed her.

"Okay, little man," Dad said to Denny. "it's almost midnight and long past your bed time. If you bother anyone in the morning before 7:00, they have my permission to beat you up and lock you in a closet." Denny giggled.

"I know you wouldn't let anyone do that to me, Dad," he said, "but I promise not to get anyone up."

"Okay, little man, say your good nights." Denny went around the table and gave all the big guys a hug. Dale and I each got a kiss on the cheek. Then Ted took him to bed.

Denny - Saturday morning

I didn't wake up in the morning like I usually do. It was almost 7:00. Davey wasn't in his bed, so I guessed he was in Jamie's room. I waited until the hands of the clock were just right and I picked up the phone and pushed the button for Dad. It rang a couple times and Uncle Dean answered it.

"Come on over, Denny." he said. He hadn't even said Hello' or Good Morning'.

"How did you know it was me ?" I asked as I stood next to where he was laying in bed. He opened his eyes and looked at me. His hand came out from under the covers and grabbed the front of my pajamas. Then he pulled me in under the covers, just like Dad does. It was like sliding through a tunnel. Over Uncle Dean and into the middle of the bed, right between him and Dad. It's strange. I can hardly remember when I didn't have Dad and Uncle Dean. That part of my life is forgotten, most of the time and I only think about all the happy times. All of them involve Davey, or Dad, or Uncle Dean. It's just like I've always been here with them and yet, when I think about it, it's only really a couple weeks.

Uncle Dean let go of my pajamas and another pair of hands reached out and grabbed me on the sides. They were bigger hands, my Dad's hands. He pulled me in tight against him and wrapped both his big arms around me. I like it when he snuggles with me. I feel warm and safe and happy. It's a nice way to lay still and wake up some more.

"Hey, little man." my Dad said. I like that he calls me that all the time. "Did you have a good sleep ? I checked in on you and you were all over the bed again."

"I slept all night, Dad." I told him. "Hey, you guys don't gots no pajamas on. Not even bottoms."

"No. You came over here too fast for us to put them on." Uncle Dean said.

"How come I has to wear them, if you don't ?" I wanted to know.

"Because little men kick their covers off and get cold." Dad told me. "And big men don't." I thought about that and it seemed all right to me.

"How come you and Uncle Dean sleep here ?" I asked.

"Where else would we sleep ?" Uncle Dean wanted to know.

"You could sleep in your room." I told him.

"We could, but this room is closer to you and Davey." Uncle Dean said. I though about that and decided it was a good idea.

"Davey didn't sleep in his bed last night." I said.

"Are you telling tales ?" Dad asked.

"No, he didn't trust me not to say nothing." I answered. "I'm complaining about having to sleep all by myself in that big room. If he's going to sleep with Jamie, then I'm going to have to come and sleep with you guys. Maybe I could sleep with Anson and Digger, or with Kevin and Tim."

"I don't think that would work out very well." Uncle Dean told me. "We'll have to think of some other solution to help you out."

"Why ? What do you guys do when your sleeping together ?" I wanted to know. There was a lot of silence.

"Well, I guess it's time to get up and have our showers." Dad said. I thought that was a good idea, so I rolled over him and ran to the wall, so I could press the shower button.

The four of us were sitting together in the lounge area of Uncle Dean's office. Dale was sitting with us. Dad and Uncle Dean sat over at his desk. Anson and Digger were standing in the waiting room, outside the office. Jason had gone with Mr. Chen to escort Brenda and Eduardo down here. It was just exactly nine o'clock when they arrived. We all stood when Brenda entered the room. Jamie indicated to his Mother to sit in a chair with us in the lounge area.

"Eduardo," Jamie said, "you are going to take a walk with my Dad and Uncle Ted, while we have a talk with Mom." Eduardo looked at Jamie with some annoyance.

"I'm not going anywhere." he snapped.

"The gentlemen outside," Jamie said, pointing to Jason, Digger and Anson, "are going to accompany all of you, just so there is no problem." He turned to the three, big men. "If Eduardo gives you any problem at all, he is to be put off the estate and never allowed to return."

"What ever you say, Jamie." Digger responded. Eduardo looked truly shocked. Brenda motioned for him to go and Uncle Dean and Dad followed him out of the office, closing the door behind them. After they had left the hallway, Jamie spoke.

"Mom, just to refresh your memory, this is Dale Savage. He is our Protector." He then introduced each of us again to her, so she would know our names. "Do you remember The Prophesy of the Guardians ?" he asked her.

"Ted gave me a copy of it last night." she said, speaking a little uncertainly. "Do they have you boys really believing you are a part of this tale ?"

"We don't need for you to believe in the Prophesy," Kevin told her, "in fact, that doesn't effect anything at all."

"What we do require, is for you to understand, as far as you are concerned," Davey continued, "you can either leave here with something, or with nothing."

"We know exactly what your situation is, Mom." Jamie told her. "We know about the finances, we know about the bill collectors, we know about your rapid exit from France." Brenda appeared shocked at first, but her face turned into a little smile. "No, this story wouldn't be worth millions." Jamie reflected her last brief thought. Her face turned back to shock again. "I am the second Guardian. My gift is the ability to look into and influence the minds of others and to know the truth. There is nothing in your mind I can not know. When you accept that, this meeting will go much faster."

"If you could really influence my mind, why don't you just make me accept what you are saying, or what you want ? she asked.

"The fourth Guardian and Dad will not allow me to do so. They demand an ethic." Jamie responded. "But you should think back and try to remember what made you decide to come here to the `castle', especially now." We could see her search her memory, as to when she had decided to come. Her body jerked and she let out a little gasp. "You just discovered a memory of us, even before you had met my brothers." She looked hard at each of us, one at a time and we could see a slight fear in her gaze. "Now we can talk business, without a lot of foolishness."

"What is going to happen to me ?" she asked.

"Your future was divided into two." I told her. "You have made your choice now and the path is set. You will do well and live long. This marriage will end shortly and you will spend a period alone, during which time with your son's and the other Guardians' help, you will grow as a person. You will marry once more and it will bring you a happiness, beyond anything you have yet known. There will be a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren adding joy to your life."

"I will be living here from now on, with Dad and my brothers." Jamie said. "Today, there will be a cheque for one million dollars deposited in my name at your bank. You will have authority to draw funds from this account, in small amounts, but it will remain my property, until after your divorce is finalized. After that, for the next four years, you will receive a similar cheque on my birthday. The debts you incurred in France have already been paid. Dad has purchased the defaulted mortgage on your house and will retain ownership, until your finances are stable. You will live there, rent free. Your staff has been cut to four and they will become employees of McAdams Corp., so you will not be paying them They will have nothing to do with Dad, or Uncle Ted, so don't get paranoid about them. They report only to you. Our word on that. Do you have any questions ?"

"What must I do for all this ?" she wanted to know.

"You must take control of your life and your finances. That will entail saying No' to Eduardo's spending, which will likely be the cause of your divorce. You must not make any problem about me living here with Dad. You must never discuss anything about the Guardians with anyone, except a member of our family'." Jamie listed. "If you do not accept and keep any of these conditions, Dad will go to court and obtain full custody, with me telling the court my preference to be with him. As well, all financial arrangements will end."

"May I see you ?" she asked.

"Actually, more than you have before." Kevin said. "Jamie will visit you twice a year for a week. When he comes, he will have another Guardian with him and the Protector. You may visit him twice a year for a week. Those visits can be here, or he may decide to take you somewhere else, such as the cabin', or a trip somewhere. The same people will accompany him. A plane will be sent for you for any national holiday you wish to spend, here with us. These arrangements will include any husband you may have at any given time." Even Brenda chuckled at this provision. "The price for these concessions is the three of us, get to call you, Aunt Brenda'."

"This is certainly not how I thought this visit was going to go." Brenda told us. "It's a much better arrangement than when I thought about....." She stopped what she was saying and looked like she was going to cry.

"About selling me to Dad." Jamie said and his Mother covered her eyes and began to weep. "I know you were desperate and really didn't mean it, Mom. I have forgiven you, now you must forgive yourself." He got up and went over to hug her. The rest of us went over and hugged them both.

"Be healed." I whispered to her. She stopped crying and looked deep into my eyes.

"Thank you." she said. "Gentlemen, we have a deal and I would be most pleased, if all of you looked on me as and called me `Aunt Debra'." Dale, having said not a word during the entire time, opened the door and we all went out to the gardens to find everyone else.

I was ready to do something. We had been sitting around all morning and I was restless. When I saw Dad, I ran over and flew at him. He caught me and picking me up, swung my around. I said we should go swimming or riding or go somewhere. It was then I first noticed. There were all kinds of tents and wagons and mechanical rides and things farther back behind the gardens.

"What's that ?" I asked Dad.

"That, little man, is the party for tonight, which all our guests have been invited to attend." he told me. "It's a carnival." We all cheered and started talking at once. "They're setting up and it will be ready to go, by four o'clock, when our guests start to arrive." Dad put me down and I went over and took Aunt Brenda's hand.

"Would you like to go and ride the horses with me ?" I asked.

"Oh, I don't know, Denny." she said. "I haven't been riding for a very long time. But I love doing it. Dean, can we go riding ?" Uncle Dean nodded and everyone else agreed, except Eduardo. He was dying to get Aunt Debra alone, to find out what had happened, `cause he didn't know. We went riding.
