Chapter 243

The two men broke their embrace, staring into each other's tearing eyes.

"I have been lost within the magic, my Kavi." Alsarius said, Kavinus smiling.

"You were always in my heart and soul, Ari. Long have I wanted to hold you like this. Your love is as beautiful as the last moment we held each other." Kavinus said, his and Alsarius' eyes lost in the forgotten love.

"And love comes full circle." Lucas said, the two men's eyes turning to the young man standing a few feet from them.

"Why are we here now, Lucas? Grandson of my soul." Alsarius said, Lucas smiling at him.

"You are here to end the path of your one lost soul, my lost ancestor. You two were always destined to find your way back to that one soul. This gift today I give you both. All paths need to be righted." Lucas said, Alsarius walking up to the young man, Kavinus at his side, their hands joined together.

"The lost magic had my soul, Lucas. Why now has that magic allowed this moment?" the ancient pharaoh said, staring at his lost lover standing beside him.

"My and His magic allow this now, Alsarius. Your angelic soulmate was always guaranteed that truth under God's love." Lucas said, the Egyptian staring at him.

"My Lord's love I have always followed, Lucas. How can this now happen?" Kavinus said, Lucas smiling at him, seeing the look of longing hope in the Egyptian's blue eyes.

"God loves all his angelic souls, Kavi, our shown angel Azrael. My magic and His now give you both the freedom of your souls. My magic and love has destroyed the evil that imprisoned your souls. The evil of my family's soul has been destroyed. My love now gives all my family their freedom." Lucas smiled, looking at all the Belmont souls staring at him with love.

Colton walked up to the three men, Alsarius' green pools meeting his blue.

"I am the Warrior, the Bowman of magic's intent. I believe this belongs to you, Alsarius, ancestor of our soul." Colton said, the young man lifting off the pendant that hung from his neck, its red stone now softly glowing, Kavinus taking the stone from Colton's slender hands, then staring at his soulmate.

"I once gave you this as a gift from my soul, Ali. It was always yours alone to wear." Kavinus said, the young Egyptian placing it around his soulmate's throat.

The moment it touched Alsarius' smooth chest, the stone began to glow, its redness changing to a crystal clear diamond, everyone staring in shocked surprise, the clear diamond beginning to change to a softer red color.

"Infused with your love, my Kavi. How I missed its beauty." The Arabian said, the two joining, their lips meeting.

The two slowly parted, both turning and staring at Lucas, the young man smiling.

"Your souls have been freed from the prison within the stone. My magic has returned it to its original form. A gift of love from one soulmate to another."

Hemi and Haras walked up to the two men, their eyes meeting their brown pools.

"You both are again united under Lucas' love, our Master. Your love is forever whole." hemi said, Kavinus embracing his brother, Haras embraced by Alsarius.

"We are brothers under one soul, my brothers. Our love is yours." Alsarius said, Kavinus agreeing, four sets of eyes meeting Lucas' violet pools.

"All paths have ended, there is only one path for my ancestors to walk upon now. My love goes with you, all of you. The choice is now yours. Come out into life my grandmothers, your choice is theirs as well." Lucas said, Isadora walking out of Francesca's soul, the two women now at Emerson's side.

"We both loved you through our lives, our Emmy.  Our place is at your side, for whatever path you wish to walk." Isadora said, Francesca agreeing with her.
Emerson's eyes met Lucas' violet loving pools.

"You now have your own trinity of love, my grandparents. Life belongs to all three of you."

Out of Francesca walked another vision of youthful beauty, Colton and Rosa Sharon instantly in their mother's arms, Gideon smiling at his long lost sister Maya.

Emerson smiled, his eyes meeting Lucas' again.

"My life is continuing, my loving grandson. We three will stay within our family's heart. We three need to feel its love." he said, Tristan smiling at his father, Savannah and Vivian wrapped in their soulmates' arms.

"They need your love, Grandfather. The love of all three of my loving grandparents." Lucas smiled, his eyes meeting Maya's.

"My life has ended, Lucas. It's time I returned to my own soulmate's love and my parents'." she said, looking down at her children.

"You both have families of love surrounding you. Your lives begin. I only wish you both happiness and love. I'll visit you as often as I can." she said, Colton nodding, Rosa Sharon in his arms now, both in tears, Colton's soulmates surrounding him.

"We love you, Momma. Your love will always be in our hearts. I'm going to stay for a while, Colty needs me." Rosa Sharon smiled, her mother kissing her cheek, her tearing eyes staring at Colton.

"My son, our noble Warrior. You have grown into a young man of courage, magic and love, Colton. They will all love you so much." she said, Enrique smiling at her, the young man surrounded by his five soulmates.

"We all shall, dear lady." The older man said, Colton smiling at him and the others.

Lucas smiled, walking back to the waterfall, a sudden light shining behind its now glowing golden wetness.

"Walk into His love, Maya." Lucas said, the young woman smiling, moving from her children, her eyes never leaving their blue pools of love.

"I am so proud of both of you. My love will always surround you. Enjoy your lives of love." she said, a soft image now walking through the waterfall, joining hands with her, Colton and Rosa Sharon staring at a handsome man, their unknown father now in her arms.

Gideon smiled, seeing his lost brother-in-law, Maya now wrapped in his love.

The two kissed, looking again at their children, Joshua Carlisle waving his hand, the two young people smiling at both, their two parents smiling and walking through the waterfall, a brightness engulfing their leaving forms.

Colton and Rosa Sharon hugged each other, the small girl smiling.

"Mom and Dad are now together forever, Colt. And I'm here now for good, my brother." she said, Colton hugging her again.

Lucas turned back from the falls, staring at his Belmont ancestors.

"It is time, my family. Those of endless love, the path leads to your eternity of love."

The ancient Belmont ancestors smiled, they and their soulmates moving forward, looking one last time at their grandchildren.

Archer Belmont smiled, his hand in Dathan's, Priscilla Carlisle at their side.

"I hope they have bows in Heaven. I want to shoot arrows of love back to all of you." he said, everyone smiling, his green eyes meeting Lucas' violet.

"Thank you, Lucas. For the adding of your love to our sons. For the path of love you guided all of us onto."
Lucas smiled, nodding, Archer and Dathan both kissing his cheek, this the first moment of contact that Lucas had experienced.

All the Belmont men and their soulmates smiled, walking into the wet brightness, sparks of light radiating back.

Lucas turned, staring at Joshua Belmont, Almira Carlisle and Carlotta Belmont.

Joshua's eyes met his sons' green and violet pools.

"It is time, my sons. My path ends in eternity. I have love surrounding me, as do you. Our hearts are free to enjoy all that love." he said, Emerson and Grayson both hugging him, their mothers receiving hugs as well.

"Bask in their love, Father. We both have yours forever." Grayson said, Gabriel's arms around him now.

Francesca and Isadora were in Emerson's arms, his green tearful pools on his father as he walked up to Lucas.

"Thank you, Lucas. For saving my soul, for freeing all of us from that Trinity of Evil. My sons can now live their lives surrounded by so much love."

Lucas' hand went to his great-grandfather's shoulder, their eyes meeting.

"Your own family awaits you for eternity, my grandfather. You have served life and love courageously."
The man smiled, looking back at his sons.

"That I have, Lucas. Onward to the next adventure!" he laughed, everyone seeing his handsome smiling youthful face, two visions of youthfulness surrounding him.

He and his soulmates walked through the waterfall, the brightness enlarging.

Lucas smiled, tears showing in his violet pools, the young man turning back to everyone still standing upon the altar.

"It is time, your majesty. Your love will echo forever." he said, Kurucu smiling, walking up to Lucas, Meresankh at his side.

"My kingdom is long gone to dust, Lucas. The love I now have at my side is the only paradise I need." he said, Meresankh kissing his cheek.

Lucas smiled, two others walking up to him as well.

"We need eternal love, Lucas. Your love has given us that." Alsarius said, Kavinus at his side.

"That's all I wanted for all of you lost within the Trinity, and within evil. Love can do some amazing things." The young man smiled, Alsarius' hand going to Lucas' shoulder, his handsome face smiling.

"I believe your love can do even more."

Alsarius and Kavinus both turned, looking at everyone staring at the two soulmates.

"Watch the skies tonight, everyone. Our joined love will brighten life." Kavinus said, the Egyptian then kissing Lucas' smooth cheek, Lucas winking.

The four smiled, looking one last time at all surrounding them.

"God, I'm going to love you forever, Ali!" Kavinus grinned, two wings now behind him, the angel Azrael wrapping his arms around his soulmate, carrying the Arabian through the waterfall, a greater brightness now shining.

Kurucu laughed, another angel now at his side, their lips meeting.

"See you in heaven's light, Lucas." Meresankh smiled, she and her soulmate walking into the waterfall, a soft brightness shining all around everyone, a soft tremble going across the altar.

Lucas turned back to everyone, all eyes upon his solitary form.

Finn walked forward, staring at his old friend, their love shining in each other's eyes.

"You saved them all, Lucas. You've righted all paths of their love." Finn said, Lucas nodding.

"Almost all, Finny." Lucas said, his eyes moving to Sklyer who walked up to Finn, another woman moving out of her beautiful image, Sarina Carlisle now standing beside her.

"I am the last forgotten soul, Lucas. I feel the freedom of my own soul." she said, Grayson walking up to her, smiling at his lost sister.

The two embraced, Gabriel now at his soulmate's side.

"You've found returned love, Gray. I only wish you the happiness of the years ahead. I will always be with you." she smiled, Grayson nodding, Gabriel smiling at her.

"He's in good hands, dear lady." he said, Grayson smiling at his soulmate.

Sarina smiled, the woman nodding at Lucas, moving forward, walking into the waterfall, the goldness brightening, the waterfall returning to its wet reality, the light behind it disappearing.

Lucas stared at everyone, his three soulmates moving forward, their sons in front of them, the two little boys smiling at their father.

"Byes, love! We wait for his wuv!" Justy said, Lucas smiling at his sons, his violet pools meeting his soulmates' pools of love.

His violet pools moved, staring at everyone standing behind them.

"God asks of all angelic souls–those that are still here–to remain on this earth, as a symbol of the goodness of God's love. The world is just awakening to the truth of what's been shown. You shall be the guardians of strength and the now shown God's courageous seraphim. The world will need to see God's loving souls."

Alain, Skyler, Haven, Father Fredrick, Gideon, Pierce and Felix all bowing towards Lucas, their eyes filled with tearful love, their soulmates at their side, Tristan and Lewis at Father Fredrick's side.

"And what of you, Lucas?" Emerson said, now beside Lucas' soulmates, the young man staring around at all his friends and family.

"I was on a destined path of God's love, my family. The path to evil's end has now passed. I have seen paradise, my true soul awaits there." he said, everyone tearing up, staring at the young man who'd come to mean so much to all of them.

"Your love can't end, Lucas. Not now when the world rejoices with God's own love. It has to be time for your own happiness." Lewis said, Lucas smiling at the humble preacher.

"Your eyes have seen so much, good servant. You shall begin a new path of opening life. The world will come to know of all God's love through you. You and Uncle Jacques are one of my best creations." Lucas said, the minister nodding, Jacques' arms around him.

"You united our love. I shall unite the world's love." Lewis smiled, Lucas smiling at him.

Colton moved, walking up to Lucas, staring into his violet pools.

"You can't go, Dad. I need your love so much!" he cried, Lucas smiling at him.

"You have so much love now, Colt. That was always the path I destined for you. Your path on God's voyage of goodness is now over. The magical Warrior can now perhaps pass into legend. What will remain is a young man with courage, magic and love. I was always proud of you, my son."
Colton cried, his five soulmates around him, Jonathan pulling him close.

"I love you, Dad." Colton said, Lucas nodding, soft tears showing in his violet pools.

Lucas moved, walking in front of the waterfall, turning and staring back at the five of his soul.

The waterfall showed its normal wet view.

Josh, Lance and Justin moved forward, their sons in front of them, the five stopping about five feet in front of Lucas.

"I love you, Lucky. I need your love here." Josh said, tears streaming down his face.

"I would give heaven and earth for that reality, my love. But the form I now stand in is being called back. I don't know what the path ahead holds for me, only that my love you all feel will never end. I love you, my Joshua. As beautiful as the first day I looked into your handsome face. And there I saw the other half of my soul."

Josh teared up, Lucas' eyes meeting Justin's and Lance's tearing pools.

"And the other two of my soul. How I love both of you. You three shall forever be my soulmates. My love will never leave you."

The three men all teared up, little Joshy and Justy moving forward, Lucas going to his knees, the two missiles of love flying into his arms, the two hugging him tightly.

"Wuvs you, Daddy. See real you soon!" Little Justy said, Lucas kissing both on the cheeks, the two moving back, returning to their fathers, Lance and Justin picking up both, all three men staring as Lucas rose to his feet, everyone now behind the three men.

Lucas looked around the pool and then up at the sky.

"The passage of time is the path that we all follow. Love is a path that we create. Magic is the life of my soul. Love is the life of all of you."

Lucas smiled, his eyes on only Josh now.

"We were always more than destiny, my Joshua. You own my soul. We were the truest love. Time will show that." Lucas said, smiling widely.

His muscular white clothed form disappeared before everyone.

Everyone lowered their eyes, the pool bathed in silence.

Alain was the last to walk off the glass walkway, everyone now on the shore of the waterfall's other side.

A soft tremble moved through everyone, all eyes now going to the waterfall and pool before them.

Within moments the pool began to fade, the waterfall disappearing as well, the group now standing in a grassy meadow, a soft breeze blowing across its top.

"The pool's gone!" Randall said, staring at the grassy field.

"Kurucu said that the pool was a creation of Lucas' magic, long before Kurucu's own life. With Lucas perhaps now gone, the pool can no longer exist here on Embrace Island." Alain said, Harry's arm going around him.

"It will exist in all our souls, as Lucas' love will. I can't believe he's gone." The young man said, Alain holding him close.

"I refuse to believe this is the end of all this. Even Lucas didn't know what lay ahead. That speaks volumes in my soul." Josh said, Lance and Justin looking at him, their sons asleep in their arms.

"Josh is right. I still feel Lucas' love." Finn said, everyone looking at him.

"I'm never giving up on him. He's my brother, I love him." The Welshman said, everyone seeing Finn's deep love for his friend, Skyler kissing his cheek.

"His love moved all of us, my love. None of us will give up on him." she said, everyone smiling.

"Was he really here, Josh? He came and disappeared with magic. Was he ever really here?" Gio said, his soulmates around him.

"I don't know the truth of that, Gio. He said that he was only a vision of destiny, sent to unite the second path, the path of the Belmont soul. I only know that he was and still is real to me." Josh said, Justin kissing his cheek.

"Let's go back down to the cottages. Our sons need their bed." Lance said, the two other men nodding, everyone seeing their shining deep love for Lucas.

The three joined hands, walking off the hillside, everyone following.

Hudson, Anderson and Haven were the last to leave, their hands joined.

Hudson looked back one last time, a soft image of a waterfall showing a lone figure standing in front of it, its golden wings spread wide.

It disappeared in a moment, Hudson blinking, stopping.
Haven stopped himself, looking at his soulmate.

Anderson stopped as well, staring at the young man.

"What is it, my love?" Haven said, his arm going around the young man, Anderson on his other side.

Hudson stared around, his grey eyes scanning the silent grassy meadow.

"Nothing, my love. I just felt a soft presence." he said, his grey eyes staring at something that wasn't there anymore.

Haven and Anderson traded looks, their arms tightening around the young man.

"I think something else is going to happen. I still feel Lucas' love through all this." Hudson said, Anderson kissed his cheek.

"I feel his love too, my darling." he said, the three men walking down the hill.

The meadow fell to deep silence, a soft breeze blowing its grass lightly.

Someone smiled, two wings flapping, moving into the late day's sunshine.

A Few Hours Later

Everyone sat in quiet silence, a soft breeze bringing a coolness to the evening's now darkness, a thousand stars filling the night's sky.

They were all on the beach in front of Lucas' cottage, the group having dined on a quick supper the Mavises had created.

Couples were joined, families united under the night's twinkling glow.

"Hell of a day, Joshy." Chris said, staring at the crashing waves on the shoreline, his soulmate at his side, his blue eyes on Josh.

"Yes, Chris. Another day of Lucas' ever-giving magical love." Josh said, Justin's arms wrapped around him, Lance at their side, their sons laying on the blanket they all sat on.

Chris rose to his feet, looking around at everyone, all eyes meeting his thoughtful blue pools.

"Indeed it was, everyone. A few things stood out for me." he said, Joey staring at him, his wife and kids at his side.

"What things, Chris? We all know you're an insightful guy, your reasoning intellect I've seen a thousand times." he said, Chris smiling at him.

"Thanks, Joe."
"You're welcome, Orca." he smiled, Chris chuckling at Lucas' old name for him.

"Well, the first thing I found odd was the star Lucas wore on his gown. The glowing star within a star. The same symbol that was etched in the stone altar and the stone Alsarius wears now around his neck for eternity. The same symbol that Lucas had Joshua Belmont go in search of. Lucas never explained its reasoning to us. There was no mention of its reality."

Everyone nodded, forgetting that one small fact.

"You're right, Chris. That was never explained. Maybe it didn't have any bearing on the truth we all saw today with our own eyes." Tristan said, Josh looking towards Lucas' father and mother.

"I believe it perhaps did, Dad." Josh said, Tristan staring at him, Chris staring as well.

"What does it mean, Josh? I've thought long and hard about it." Chris said.

Josh rose to his feet, his soulmates and sons staring at him, the man walking to Chris' side, everyone staring at the two men.

"It's simple if you think about it, Chris. I believe that's why Lucas didn't mention it. He sensed we'd figure it out." Josh said, his blue eyes looking towards the calm ocean, soft waves lapping at the shoreline.

"What did waterfalls mean to Lucas, Trish?" Josh said, looking at Lucas' sister, she was smiling at him.

"It meant calmness, Josh. Lucas always said that waterfalls calmed his soul."

"Yes, Trish. We his soulmates knew that truth. Falling water always calmed his soul. That's why it was always shown in the magical pool he created. The calmness of his love." he said, Chris nodding, his mind thinking about that.

"Alright, Josh. I understand that reasoning. He loved throwing me in water." he said, Josh smiling.

"You calmed his soul with your mirthful love, Orca." he said, Chris laughing, smiling widely.

"So what does that have to do with the other symbol shown?" he said, Josh smiling.

"What was the other half of his soul, other than his love?" he said, Chris looking at him.

"His magic."

"Yes, Chris. That symbol was the reality of his magic. A magic within another magic. The Belmont magic within Lucas' soul was surrounded by the hidden magic of destiny. A star within a star." Josh said, Chris nodding with surprise.

"That could be what it means, Josh." he said, Josh's hand going to his shoulder.

"What else did you reason out, Chris?"

Chris looked around, his eyes settling on two sets of youthful pools staring at him.

"Remember towards the end just before Lucas disappeared?" he said, everyone nodding.

"I watched Lucas through all of today's wonders. No one touched him, other than his ancestors, and Alsarius and Kavinus, just before they disappeared into eternity's light."

"That's right, Chris. Lucas said he was only a vision of destiny. He would give his soul to embrace Josh. We couldn't touch him." Aaron said, Craig's arms around him.

Chris smiled, looking at Justin and Lance.

"Then how could Joshy and Justy embrace him?"

Josh's eyes widened in surprise, the two boys rising to their feet, Justin's and Lance's arm going around each one.

"You're right, Chris. They both ran up to him, and he knelt and embraced both." Savannah said, staring at her grandsons, both smiling at her.

"Daddy our wuv. We always embrace it." Joshy smiled, Josh walking up to his sons and soulmates, kneeling in front of them.

"You felt his real love, my sons?" he said, the boys smiling, climbing into Josh's lap, snuggling against him.

"Yep, Papa. He real to us, we feel him in magic. Our magic connects us. He not gone. He waits for himself." Justy said, yawning a bit.

"Waits for himself, Justy?" Lance said, staring at his son.

"Yep, Poppa. His real self out there. Time just got to fix him." The boy nodded, Joshy kissing his brother's cheek, his blue and violet pools looking around at everyone.

"All gots piece of him. Golden love brings it all togethers." he said, snuggling more into his father's lap.

Josh's eyes met Lance's and Justin's eyes, the three looking at their sons.

Joshy yawned now.

The two boys had slept for a few hours, then had risen and played with their fathers while dinner was prepared.

"I think they need their beds for the night, guys. As do ours." Skyler smiled, her treasures asleep in her and Finn's laps.

"We'll put them down, guys." Justin said, rising from his seat, his two sons climbing into his arms, their other two fathers kissing their cheeks.

"Nights, Dada, Papa and Poppa." Joshy said, closing his eyes, Justy's eyes already closed.

Justin smiled, walking with Skyler and Finn towards their cottages.

Josh looked around at everyone, the man sitting down on their blanket again, Lance's arms going around him.

He looked around, everyone staring into his green eyes.

A few minutes later Justin, Finn and Skyler returned, sitting down again.

"We were about to show something to everyone, my love." Lance said, Justin's arm around Josh as well, seeing Lance pull out his watch, removing its chain from his waist, handing the watch to Josh, Justin and Josh both nodding.

Josh stared around at everyone, the man sighing, his blue pools going towards the far hills.

"I gave Lucas this watch on our anniversary. I found it in a small jewelry shop in New York, I sensed it was calling out to me even before I walked into that shop. I sensed perhaps it was always destined to be given to him. I never told him that." Josh said, Justin and Lance nodding at him.

Finn moved, walking over to Josh, kneeling beside him.

"I remember that evening. I had awoken early to feed Julian and I found Lucas sitting on the couch with Justy, the watch laying in his hands, he having pulled the mechanism out of the casing, staring at it. He said it was a gift from you. I had looked at it when he'd put it back together."

Josh nodded, opening the watch, staring at the written words on its facing.

"I think Lucas that evening sensed the truer meaning of this watch's importance in all of this."

"Importance? It's just a beautiful watch, Josh." Finn said, staring at the watch.

"We think it's something more, Finn," Lance said, their eyes meeting, everyone staring at him.

"What can it be, other than a watch, Lance?" Savannah said, Tristan's arms around her.

Josh rose to his feet, looking at the watch.

With Justin's and Lance's help, the three explained what had happened when they'd turned the watch's minute hand backwards.

Finn rose from his feet, walking up to Josh's standing form.

"It turns back time? That's pretty far-fetched, Josh." he said, Josh handing the young man the watch.

"Try it out, Finn." he said, Finn nodding, taking the watch into his hand, opening it.

He turned the adjuster, turning the watch's minute hand back a minute, looking up at Josh.

"It turns back time? That's pretty far-fetched, Josh." he said, Finn's eyes widening in surprise.

"Try it out, Finn." Josh said, Finn nodding, taking the watch into his hand, opening it.

Finn stepped back, everyone looking at him with confusion.

"What is it, Finny?" Skyler said, Finn looking at her.

"Oh my God! It did turn back time! I just repeated what I'd said a minute ago!" he said, everyone looking surprised.

"Told ya, Finny." Justin smiled, Finn staring at Josh.

"Does this mean we can turn back time and save Luke on that grassy knoll a few days ago?" he said, the words dawning on everyone's mind.

"No, Finn. There isn't a date dial on the watch. We can only turn back time for twelve or twenty four hours at most." Lance said, he and Justin rose to their feet, wrapping their arms around Josh.

Finn stared at the watch, another thought dawning on him.

"When I first saw Luke with this watch, he'd had it apart in his hands, the mechanism outside the case." he said, his eyes meeting Josh's blue pools.

"Do you think Luke found something else in this watch?" he said, Josh taking the watch back from him, staring at its golden casing.

"Maybe, Finny. Let's find out." Josh said, everyone staring at the watch as Josh opened it, slowly lifting the watch facing out of the watch.

Josh's eyes widened, staring at the bottom of the watch's golden casing.

He dropped it, Finn catching it before it hit the sand, Josh's face showing a soft shock.

"Read the words, Finny." he softly said, Lance and Justin staring at Finn as the Welshman looked inside the casing, seeing etched writing in the watch's golden interior, his voice filling the silence.

"At his waterfall life can be righted

Hours forgotten can be returned to

All united love can change paths

He will come, his golden love can join true love

On a marble altar His one can return to their love"

Everyone stared at the watch, Finn's words echoing in the silence.

Finn returned the mechanism to the watch, closing its golden lid, staring at Josh, Justin and Lance.

"Hours forgotten can be returned to? Does that mean we can use this to return to the pool from a few hours ago?" he said, Josh nodding.

"I think that's exactly what it means." he said, Justin's arm going around his waist.

"All united love can change paths? All our love can change Lucas' path! I think we can return him to us!" he said, soft joy returning to his voice.

"What does the golden love part mean?" Nick said, Hudson rising to his feet.

"I think it's referring to the golden winged angel I saw when Lucas drew me to Kurucu's pool." he said, everyone looked surprised.

"Just before we left that grassy hill tonight I saw a soft shadow of that same angel standing where the pool had been, disappearing in a moment. I think he was trying to tell me something." The young man said, Anderson and Haven now at his side.

"That angel? What does he have to do with this?" Tristan said, his green pools meeting Josh's blue.

"I think it's a sign that my Lucas is still out there and this hidden angel is in some way important to bring him back."

Lance thought for a moment, looking around at everyone, his eyes going to the watch.

"I think we can bring him back, as Justin said. I think we missed something just before Lucas disappeared. Remember his last words? He was indeed trying to tell us something."

Josh looked at Lance, his soulmate smiling at him.

`"We were always more than destiny, my Joshua. You own my soul. We were the truest love. Time will show that."'

"Yes, those were his last words. He mentioned time again. I think this watch is the key!" Justin said, his arm going around Josh, looking at the watch in his hand.

Lance walked up to the two men, his arms going around both.

"We're going back up there first thing tomorrow. Lucas is still there, whether in the present or the past. Something waits for us on the hill. I think it will be a new beautiful Lucas." Lance smiled, Josh nodding.

"I need him, Lance. We need him." he said, Justin kissing his cheek.

"We're all going with you, guys. I need him, too." Finn said, Josh smiling at him.

Everyone agreed, the three men smiling around at everyone.

"His family goes together." Tristan said, Savannah kissing his cheek.

Everyone smiled, Lance looking around, staring out at the waves hitting the shoreline.

"Water will calm all our souls tomorrow. Let's call it a night, everyone. Lucas' love is out there. Let's take it all into our dreams tonight."

Everyone helped clean up the beach, everything put in its place.

"Goodnight, our families." Josh said, Justin's and Lance's arms around him, the three walking up the stairs of their central cabin.

Everyone nodded, hugs exchanged with everyone, all slowly walking back to their cabins.

No one saw a flashing light beam across the starlit night sky.

End of Chapter 243

And so Lucas' magical, mystical family has walked into eternity, their souls freed from the evil.

And Lucas' magical work is perhaps finished.

Or is it?

A little shorter than usual, but I wanted to end it at a specific moment.

All signs and thoughts lead to him not being gone.

What can they do to bring him back?

Is the mysterious, magical watch part of that?

This long winding story may be coming to an end.

I should start the thanks with my trusting editor.

Who knew a Yankee fan could be good at editing?

Lol, just kidding Mike!

Thanks for all of your talented corrections.

On to the next installment.
