Loving Nick - Part 19

"Ohhh..." groaned Justin as Darren took the blond singer's cock into his hungry mouth. Justin continued to moan in pleasure as Darren played with his cock.

"You like?" Darren looked up with a goofy smile.

"What do you think?" Justin answered with his trademark smirk.

Without need for any further encouragement, Darren went back to concentrate on his work.

"You think something is going on with Justin?" JC asked innocently.

"You mean the way he's acting around Darren?" Chris added.

JC merely nodded.

"Yeah, I have noticed how they're always so close to each other," Chris continued.

"So what? They're probably in love with each other," Joey said matter-of-factly.

JC's eyes widened, "You really think so?"

"Hey, all the signs point to that, don't they?" Joey answered without taking his eyes off the magazine that he was reading.

"I suppose they do look kinda cute together," Chris concluded.

"I suppose..." JC agreed. "It is nice to finally see Justin and Lance happy though."

At that moment, Lance and Nick walked into the room, holding hands.

"Well, well, well..." Joey said, looking up from his magazine, "if it isn't the lovebirds. What are you two doing out of bed?"

Lance turned red as a tomato with embarrassment. "Joey!"

Nick giggled at Lance's reaction. They both sat down on the couch and began chatting with the guys.

Lance walked up to JC and whispered something into his ears. They both got up and walked to a corner of the room.

"What's up, Scoop?"

"Well, I just wanted to say thanks for taking charge of things the last little while. I know I've been slacking off a bit," Lance explained.

"Hey, not a problem, Scoop," JC laughed, "can't let you run the whole show, right?" Lance smiled at JC's response. "But seriously, we're all very happy for you."

"Thanks, JC," Lance responded with a smile, "but I think it's time for me to take control of the show again."

JC pretended to be hurt. "Pushy, pushy!!" Lance playfully punched JC on the arm and they both went to join the rest of the guys.

"Everything alright?" Nick asked as Lance sat beside him.

"Couldn't be better."

As the guys continued chatting, Justin and Darren walked into the room holding hands. Everyone stopped and looked at the two guys. "Is there something we should know?" Joey asked with a goofy smile.

"Well, I guess it's kinda obvious," Justin began timidly.

"Justin and I are going out," Darren finished.

"Well, congratulations," JC exclaimed, "we were beginning to wonder about you two!! Now we don't have to guess no more."

"Thanks guys," Justin answered with a huge grin.

As Nick stood up to hug Justin and Darren, he noticed Lance was not smiling at all. In fact, Lance looked like he was about to kill someone with his eyes. Luckily, no one else in the room seemed to notice.

As Darren was walking back to his room to get something, Lance walked up behind him. "Darren, can I talk with you for a sec?"

"Sure, Lance, come on in," Darren answered. They went into the room and Darren closed the door behind them. "What's up?"

"What's going on, Darren?" Lance questioned, not wasting any time.

"What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean. You and Just?"

"Nothing, we are just seeing each other."

"Darren, I'm warning you, don't try to pull anything stupid. I mean it."

"Lance, I'm not playing with him. I really do love him."

Lance stared at Darren. "I've heard that phrase before. You said those very same words to me not too long ago."

"Lance, I'm sorry about what happened between us. But believe me, I really care about Justin."

"Listen to me, Darren. If you ever hurt Justin, I swear, you won't like what I'll do to you." Lance said this in a firm, defiant, and serious tone.

"I understand, Lance. Don't worry, I won't hurt Justin. I promise."

Nick was lying on his bed reading a magazine as Lance came into the room. "Where've you been, Lansten?" Nick asked, looking up from his reading.

"Just chatting with Darren, that's all," Lance replied.

"I've missed you," Nick answered.

"That's sweet," Lance answered with a smile. "But I wasn't that far away." Lance walked over to the bed and sat down beside Nick. "So what are you reading?" he asked as he grabbed the magazine from Nick. "FORTUNE??? You're reading Fortune magazine??"

Nick pretended to look indignant. "And what is wrong with reading Fortune, Lansten Bass?"

"Nothing," Lance laughed. "I just never expected teenage heartthrob Nick Carter to be a Fortune fan."

"Hey, Fortune is a great magazine," Nick defended before breaking into his trademark, heart-melting smile.

"Wow, there is still so much I have to learn about you, I guess," Lance finally said.

"So what was going on?" Nick asked as he put down his magazine.

"What do you mean?"

"You didn't look to happy seeing Justin and Darren together."

"It's nothing," Lance said, trying to avoid Nick's eyes.

Nick didn't want to push Lance into anything, but he could see something was really bothering him. He got up off the bed and walked over to Lance, placing his arms around his love and hugging the older blond. "What's bothering you, Lansten?"

"I'm just scared that he would hurt Justin. The way he..." Lance's voice trailed off.

"The way he hurt you?" Nick finished for Lance.

Without saying anything, Lance simply nodded. "He said that he loved me, but one day I went home and found him in bed with someone else..."

Nick could sense that these memories still hurt Lance. "Maybe he's changed for the better," Nick offered.

"I hope so. I mean, he's a decent guy, don't get me wrong. It's just that when it comes to relationships, I'm not so sure. I don't want to see Just get hurt."

"Well, Justin's lucky to have a friend like you," Nick said as he placed his chin on Lance's shoulders. "We'll just have to keep an eye out for him, okay?"

A small smile formed on Lance's face. He was glad that Nick wasn't jealous or defensive about Lance's feelings.

Meanwhile, in New York...

"What the fuck is going on here???" the man in his late forties shouted.

"I don't know for sure," replied a slightly younger man with glasses. "Nothing's confirmed, it's just rumours."

"I don't care!! If this gets out, the media would have a field day. We don't need a fag boy band."

"What are you planning to do?" the younger man asked softly.

"Well, I'm going to put a stop to this before it goes any further. The last thing we need is to have the girls stop buying CDs because their heartthrob Justin Timberlake likes guys."

"How are you going to do that?"

"Well," the older man said slowly, "Justin's a feisty one. So he wouldn't be a good place to start. We need someone shy, and easy to manipulate..."

The two men's eyes met. "Let me guess..." the younger man began.

"Yes, you're right. We'll just need to have a little talk with Lance." With that, both men laughed and continued onto the next item on their agenda.

...to be continued....
