That's Impossible, isn't it? Chapter 4

"Mom, I have a few months to be sure, I think I love him, I told him as much, but it was a good friend sort of comment, you know, more brotherly, but now I just don't know," I informed Mom, "I feel he can make me happy," I added, "Dad, is another issue, I know what he said out there, but that was in front of company," I said with a hint of worry.

"Bobby, as long as you are happy, it's all I wished for. Your dad, well...he has seen some things over his lifetime, and in his job he has had to make some decisions he wasn't comfortable with," she went on,

"Like what?" I asked, "His best friend, Mike Stone," she said, the name for me wasn't familiar, "Who is he?" I asked.

"He was caught off base, having let's say `fun with another marine, and let's just say they resigned before being kicked out," she added with a sad look on her face. "Don't ask, Don't tell," she added,

"Oh, what did that have to do with Dad?" I asked,

"He was his commanding officer, and he was devastated, he knew Mike was gay, but never pressed him on it," she said, "So your dad isn't the Ogre you think he is," she said,

"Never thought he was, Mom, just that he pushes, and I feel intimidated somewhat," I added.

"Son, he means well. Look, he hasn't given you cause for concern since you told him, has he?" she asked. "Well mom, it's only been an hour, so judgment is pending, I can feel it" I said as my Dad walked into the kitchen,

"Hey, you need another hand, honey?" Dad asked, as mom picked up the first plate of food, to take to the dining room,

"Help your son" was her only reply.

"Hey, Sunshine," he said, gripping my shoulder,

"Dad, don't hate me please," I asked, with a little moisture in my eyes,

"Hey, what's this, Bobby, I could never hate you, you are my son, and no matter what, I love you," he said, pulling me into his chest, and the smell of him I remembered as a child, always comforted me.

"Dad, I do care for him, I really do, but this whole other world thing," I said,

"Yeah, it's just new, and strange, but, look, Bobby, we know this could have gone a lot worse than it has, so be happy about that, and you never know, it could be the making of humanity," he informed me.

"Look, kiddo, I know I have been a hard ass about your studies, as I know what you could be capable of, and you wasting your potential. Well, that wouldn't stand well with me, but now,...but now," he pondered, "this could be really good for you, and, well, let's see what happens." he smiled "Now, everything has changed, starting tomorrow," he added,

"Why what happens tomorrow?" I asked,

"Levert, has invited me to see his people's craft, you wanna come?" Dad asked,

"Fuck yeh, oops sorry, Dad," and dad smiled,

"Son, you are a grown man, I will let you off the hook with that one, kiddo."

We carried the rest of the food into the dining room, where Mom had already sat Craig and his Father down, they talked about what they loved to do back on Lokite, but skipped past most of the mundane stuff,

"So, you coming with Major Barnes, tomorrow, Bobby?" Levert asked, and Craig looked at me.

"Yes, sir, I would love to see the ship," I replied, and the smile that appeared on Craig's face almost had me hard, and I mean rock hard,

"I would love to show you around, but I am not familiar with this ship," Craig informed me, "But I would love to show you our library, especially the photo images that are stored there. He added,

"That would be amazing," I replied.

"You can do better than that, my son," Levert said, looking at Craig,

"How, father?" Craig enquired,

"The hollow image system is now working as designed," he informed him.

"You mean-" His father interrupted him,

"Yes, son, you can show him home," Levert informed him, and the smile on Craig's face was a boner inducing one and our eyes never left each other's. and that prompted me to be more bold and I asked a question I never thought I would ever ask my parents, regarding someone they knew I had strong feelings for.

"Mom, Dad, do you mind if Craig stays with me tonight?" Craig, looked shocked at the boldness of my question, and I, myself was shocked at how easy it was to ask it,

"Ermm, doesn't Craig want to spend some time with his father?" Mom asked, and a smile, came across my father's face, that almost turned to laughter,

"Honey, we were their age, once, remember?" my dad came to my rescue, surprisingly,

"Yes, sweetheart, I remember, I remember my Father chasing you with a pitch fork," she added, and Craig and I burst out in fits of laughter,

"Yeh, the old goat still hates me," he added,

"If Craig wants to stay, he can, as long as his father has no need for him until in the morning," Dad added,

"Major, my son is 20yrs old, in your time measurement, and is of age to make his own decisions," Levert replied, "And besides, he is in the same area, so I will see plenty of him, won't I, son?" he added.

"Yes, father, that would be nice, it would be nice to see Nathan, as well, how is he?" Craig asked,

"Like you were, at that age, mischievous," his father answered.

We ate the steaks, and Complimented the cook, my mom. She accepted the thanks with her usual grace, and Levert, was taken back to the place where he was staying, and escorted by my Dad, since now, Craig's dad officially had diplomatic status, Alien diplomatic Status, but protected, none the less, "Ok, Mom, we are going to head up. Is that all right?" I asked, and Mom asked if I needed more blankets, which I declined,

"Look, I am not a prude. Just remember where you are, and that our room is next to yours, ok," she informed us, and smiled,

"I love you, Bobby," Mom added.

"Mom, just to keep your mind at ease, we are taking things slowly, and in the spirit of honesty, I haven't even seen him, yet" I added, somewhat embarrassed.

"What do you mean you haven't seen him, yet?" she asked, and Craig now looking somewhat uncomfortable. "You know, I haven't... " I added,

"Oh, really?" she asked,

"We are in no hurry, Mom, we are taking it one day at a time," I answered, and then turned and took Craig by the hand and lead him up to my childhood room, I opened the door, and the posters of football stars, and baseball hero's still adorned my walls.

"Cute room," Craig laughed out loud.

"Shut up, and come here," I said, pulling him closer, then slowly kissing his lips.

"I like your Parents" Craig said, still kissing my bottom lip, "Your dad is pretty cool, as well, may I add," I was still holding his face close enough that we could share the same air,

"Let's kiss ourselves into a good place and sleep," I said, pulling him onto my bed,

"I cannot wait to make you mine, and to make you whole," he said, kissing me softly, as we lay side by side,

"I want that so much, especially if you meant that the way I picked it up?" I said in a sort of question,

"I meant that I want to make love to you, but when the time is right," he added.

"Ohh, so I was right," I said, kissing him, again and again, and we slowly drifted off to sleep.

...

I woke up early around 7am. I looked over at Craig and wondered why he wanted to wait. I mean, we are both healthy males. Sex is good; I like sex, and he has already blown me, and fuck, what a blow job it was. If that was his first one, shit, he was a natural.

He lay there in sweats, and a T, and he was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen even before the world as I knew it changed, I had admired his body, well.. him, from afar.

His breathing was a beautiful thing, his face a tranquil sight, he was perfect, if his people designed him, give them a design award, because they nailed it,

"errrrrrm, Morning, B," Craig yawned out, and pulled himself up to face me.

"Morning, yourself," I replied, as I leaned in to kiss him, "phew Jesus, your breath" I proclaimed,

"Yours does not smell like flowers either, you know," Craig hit back,

"Morning breath," I said,

"Bathroom" he responded, and we laughed, as we headed to my bathroom, I handed him a spare tooth brush as we cleaned and flossed, and then returned to the original point.

"You smell good," he retorted, as I planted my lips on his, "I could get to like this," he said.

"I already do," I replied, and we kissed for seems like an age, then headed back to my bed,

"Craig..."

"Yeh," he replied,

"Why do you want to wait," I asked,

"wait, wait for what" he responded.

"Sex," I replied, "I mean you have tasted me, you know," I said sheepishly,

"Bobby, your customs are so different, than ours, I haven't had sex with anyone here, not with anybody," he went on, "because what I believe, I won't change," he added, "I won't share until I am sure, with you, I hope you are the one," he concluded.

"Ok, the one, you said that to Richie, and this your heart is of me, and all that," I was on a roll, "what does that mean?" I asked,

"I won't consummate, until I know you want me in the same way I want you," he replied.

"You want me as your partner?" I asked,

"No, I want you as my life mate, or what you would call spouse," he added, holding my hand, "Look, this is all too much for you to comprehend right now," he said, and looked deep into my eyes, trying to read me through my soul, "But Bobby, I knew from the first time I saw you, that I loved you," he informed me.

"Love, are you sure? I mean that's huge," I replied, "I know, that's why I am waiting, I need to be sure you feel the same way, but I can wait, I have waited for three years; I can wait longer. I know you have feelings for me, but the strength of those feelings is still unclear to you," he added, "We have shared that room for a little over five months, I have been here for three years, and I have never given anyone a second glance until you walked into that dorm room, so waiting is what I will do, because I do love you," He went on.

"I know, and you are right, I don't know the strength of my feelings for you, I will admit again that I have lusted over you, but love, I know I told you before I loved you, but I thought it was brotherly, you know, but, shit, Craig I just don't know," I added, and I think I do love him, I know I would be devastated if he left to go back to Lokite, and left me behind, I needed time to think, I, like him, needed to be sure.

"Ok, what time do we get picked up?" I asked.

"What do you mean" he asked.

"To go to the space ship; what time do we go?" I asked again,

"Oh, my father will go first and then he will contact either me or your dad, and we will go.

We went downstairs and prepared breakfast, bacon eggs, biscuits fresh fruit and hot coffee, the smell woke my parents and they stumbled into the kitchen, "I see you learned how to cook, at least," my dad joked.

"Food first second and third," I answered.

"That's my boy," dad laughed out, "So, Bobby, you are not getting any, your mom tells me." dad said, looking at me.

"Shit, Dad, that's private" I gulped,

"Hey, Son, we are open, and we don't hide, that's why you told your mom, correct?" Dad added, "Mr Brian, it is my culture to wait, and Bobby is respecting that," Craig added.

"So I guess that means no, then," Dad added, and I was rescued from the most annoying conversation by a vibration, hum, coming from Craig's back pack, he pulled out the box, the disk was in, and he placed it on the floor, and the light beamed up and Craig's father appeared in holographic form,

"Good morning, father" said Craig, "Craiglessty, did you sleep well, my son?" His father asked,

"Yes father, very well, thank you," he replied.

"Ok, I will contact you in ten minutes, and arrange for you to transport" he said, and he vanished,

"Wow, that was something," Dad said.

"Yeah, it is definitely that, Dad." Then Dad went to the door, to see if anyone or anything was waiting to take us to the space ship. Nothing was there. We all got changed and waited for the call, then the vibration, hum, started,

"Hello, Father, we are ready," Craig informed him, "OK, all of you stand around the disk, and take a deep breath," Levert, instructed, and we did as we were told. We stood around the disk, took a deep breath, and in an instant we stood on the command deck of the science vessel, "Welcome aboard, Science vessel, `Hope' "Levert said, "Welcome," he repeated, shaking first my dad's hand, then mine,

I looked out of the front window of the ship and the view of Earth was spectacular. We could see the space station, that had been getting built since I was born, or it seemed that long, and we could see the moon, as clear as crystal, it was a sight to behold,

"You OK, Bobby?" Craig asked, wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Yeh, just...wow" I replied,

"Yeh, I know what you mean, the first time I saw Lokite, from space, it was breath-taking," he responded, "Now, I have something to show you," Craig said, pulling me with him, "What could top this?" I asked,
