That's Impossible, isn't it?

Chapter 5

"Craig, slow down, you are pulling my arm out of its socket,?" I yelled, and still he was pulling me, running past others of his people,

"Not far, now!" Craig yelled, and we came to a door, about 10' high, Craig entered a code and pressed his palm to the silver pad on the door, and the door just vanished. It didn't open or slide, I mean, it just vanished.

We entered the room, but when I say room, it wasn't. We walked through a dark arch, and came out overlooking a cliff top, the sea in front of us was the deepest blue I think I had ever seen. The sand below was orange, bright orange. The sky was as clear as I had ever seen one, and there were two Suns.

"Wow, Craig, this is amazing. Is this Lokite?" I asked,

"Yes, this is what it looks like during what you call summer," he replied,

I turned around and saw a flock of green and yellow birds that resembled parrots, but with flat beaks, they whistled a call, it was so tranquil. Craig grabbed me by the hand and led me to the beach. I could feel the grains of sand beneath my feet after I had removed my socks and shoes, the sand was warm. I paddled in the water. The sea seemed to be thicker than the water back home, and it was also quite warm.

"I played here often while I grew up," Craig informed me. "I would love to show you the real beach," he told me.

I reached out and pulled him to my lips, and said, "I can't wait for you to take me there."

Craig smiled. "Have you decided yet, if you could love me?" Craig asked.

"Craig, my feelings for you grow stronger each time I am with you, and Love...yeah, I think I do...in fact...I know I do," I said, and again, I pulled him into a passionate kiss. "Craiglessty, I love you," I added.

"Bobby, please call me Craig, that's all I want you to call me, or perhaps, one day... Ra-Lok," Craig said, kissing my lips with the same intensity as I had kissed his.

"Ra-Lok?" I asked,

"It means Life partner, or spouse, in your language," Craig informed me.

"Oh, you mean husband?" I asked.

"Well, perhaps, one day I will call you that, but I do love you, Craig, you have my heart on that one," I informed him.

"so, are you coming with me?" Craig asked.

"If you will have me," I replied.

"That is my wish, I love you, Bobby. The first time I saw you, my heart decided, it was you, and my head agreed," he said, pulling me into his strong arms.

And meanwhile, during our kiss, the Holographic system suddenly switched off, and we were left standing in the dark for a minute. Then the room lit up, showing the exit.

"What happened?" I asked,

"I Don't know. Come with me," Craig insisted, and he pulled me out through the arch, leading me back to the bridge of the ship.

"Shield holding, prefect!" someone shouted, "Very good, what is the status on contamination?" The Prefect asked. "Containment is holding!" the same person yelled,

"Dad, what's happened?" I asked my dad, looking out of the window, at a dome shaped shield, that appeared to be over China.

"The bastards fired at Europe, and the US," Dad replied. "Nuke's," he went on.

"Shit, Dad, What about Mom!?" I cried out, "Don't worry, Son, she's fine," Dad insisted. "The Lokite's shielded the Bombs' blasts, and contained the radioactivity within Chinese airspace. When they exploded, everything was locked in the containment field. As for the Chinese...well...not so good, for them, I'd say," Dad informed us.

"How long can you maintain that shield, Levert," Dad asked, "twelve, perhaps thirteen, weeks," he replied, sadly. "Major, I am very sorry. If we had kept our distance..." he continued, But Dad interrupted him.

"Ambassador, they and the Koreans, have been itching to find an excuse to fire on us for some time, now. It was going to happen sometime," My Dad informed Levert.

"The Koreans?" I asked,

"They have been neutralised," The prefect, informed us, "If they had fired, we couldn't have stopped all of them. I'm afraid the Earth would have immediately become un-inhabitable," He added.

"Major, we need to speak to your president, and the rest of your world's leaders as soon as possible. It is of grave importance," Levert said.

"Yes sir, I will contact his chief of staff, now," My Dad, informed him, and left to make the call in private.

"Bobby, will you come with me?" Craig asked, and I followed him.

"Fuck, Craig, why would the Chinese do such a stupid thing? I mean they know what your people's capabilities are, it was suicide," I exclaimed.

"They panicked; they thought they were being invaded, and they retaliated, but yeah, suicide is, in fact, what resulted," he replied. "why do they need all the heads" I asked.

"I don't really know, but I can guess," Craig replied,

"Go on," I said.

"OK, As I see it, when the shield fails, and it will. We don't have enough energy to sustain it indefinitely, the cloud that is now contained under it will be released, and that cloud is pure radiation, and therefore deadly," he replied.

"You mean..." I started.

"It will completely cover the earth with a powerful radioactive cloud, that will kill every living thing on Earth, in less than a year," he replied.

"Oh fuck!" was all I could get out, "So, for all practical purposes, we are all dead?" I asked.

"Bobby, I don't know how many transport ships, we have on their way here," he went on, "but I am sure that we will save everyone we can, but, yes, Earth is now dying, and that's a fact," he added.

Meanwhile, in the conference room, Levert, the Major, and the President are talking via Holographic communication,

"Mr President, from what I have gathered from our observation and subsequent analysis, we have about seven months left before the entire Earth is Totally dead, and there is nothing we or anyone else, for that matter, can do about it.

The Chinese have fucked us all, well and truly," Major Barnes, spat out,

"Thank you, Major, I can see that," President Obama replied,

"Sorry, Sir," The Major responded,

"Don't apologise; I agree with you. So, what do the Lokite's have in mind?" The President asked.

"Mr President, some of our Finest engineers have travelled here in this vessel," Levert answered, "They believe that with the fabrication methods we possess, we could build a fleet of spaceworthy ships for Earth's people to escape from the cloud. Our planet can certainly accommodate, about 30 million people, but we know of, and can travel to, about 40 other planets that can sustain human life, but we need to get started as soon as possible, Sir," Levert added,

"I will consult with the other leaders, but if what you say is true, I don't think there will be any delay," President Oboma said, before bidding his goodbye. An hour later, he communicated that the world was asking for Lokite's assistance, in any shape they could, and then ending the holographic communication.

"So, what now?" the Major asked.

"We build, quickly," replied Levert,

...

"So that's it, we die?" I asked,

"Not if my father has a say in it; this could work out for your people as well as mine," Craig replied,

"Yeah, how?" I asked,

"Your world was already dying, more slowly, of course, but it would eventually die. Your Kitari is fractured," he replied, '

"Our what?" I asked,

"Your Ozone layer; it's full of holes, causing your planet to warm, and your weather to become unstable," he responded,

"Yeah, we know that, but we were taking measures," I replied,

"It wasn't enough. Your oceans are already beginning to rise, and would continue to do so at an accelerated rate, year upon year," he replied, "The Chinese have only accelerated the inevitable," Craig replied. "Your people need somewhere to go, and need it soon." he added.

"Our planet, and the surrounding systems need life, they need human life. We could accommodate most of the Earth's people, but the problem is getting them there." Craig sighed.

"You have transports on the way, you said," I said, looking for some hope, "Yeah, but for only about forty thousand people, no more," he replied.

"I am sure our scientists have a plan, our top engineers are on board the science ship. I am sure we can come up with something," he said, trying to raise my spirits, and like before, failing.

Over the next few days, plans were set in place; construction sites were designated throughout the world. Over twenty seven thousand sites were being set up, all building escape craft, to the same design specifications. The engines would be of Lokite design, The engineers collaborated with some of the foremost experts from NASA and the European space agencies. Construction began in earnest, some four weeks later, working around the clock.

Humanity would continue, that was the goal. Humanity would survive, just not here, not on Earth, Craig and I returned to Washington, since we wanted to help in any capacity that we could.

...

Later...

"Panic!? What did you expect, the world is on the brink of the biggest disaster ever. Sure, people are panicking," Major Barnes, informed his sergeant. "Just keep them away from essential services, OK!" he yelled and hung up the phone.

"Dad, what were you saying about the Lottery?" I asked,

"Oh, sorry, Bobby, Where was I? Oh yes, we knew there would be disorder, We just didn't think it would be the bad, this soon," Dad, said, taking another sip of his drink, "Yeah, there will be a lottery for those who have not been pre-selected.

Doctors, Scientists, Engineers, and the like already have priority, followed by other mitigating factors." Dad said, "For instance, I had a fairly good chance of being selected, already, because of my position, which would have meant your mother would have been able to go, too, And if we could have gone, chances were excellent that you would have gone with us.

Of course, your being Craig's partner gets you on board, for sure. The fact that you are going, adds still another reason to have your Mother and me go along, if you want us to," Dad added with a big smile

...

Later on in the evening, my Cell rang,

"Hey Craig, how are you and your family?" I asked.

"Dad, Nathan and Laura, are all on board Hope. His home was attacked, and the military thought they would be safer there," he sighed.

"Fuck, this is getting bad, now," I added,

"it won't be long, now, Babe. Our first ships arrive within the next few days, and we will leave within a further week," Craig added.

"I love you," I replied,

"As I do, You," he answered. "I am ready to be joined with you, Bobby, as soon as we are able, we will be joined," he went on,

"Craig, I would like that very much," I replied, and with that, Craig ended the call, and I thought, 'Blue pubes and a three foot dick, as if...'

A week later, Craig was back in Washington, with me, the first ship had arrived, and the selection of the world's female volunteers had started, as that part of the mission had not been altered, other than the volume of volunteers, as a lot more people were travelling back to the Lokite system than had originally been planned for.

A few days later, the second third and fourth transport ships arrived, Craig and I, as well as our families were boarded, We would all be leaving on the Science vessel, Hope, as Levert was an Ambassador, and therefore had certain privileges.

"What do you think of our room?" Craig asked me,

"Better than our fucking dorm room, that's for sure," I replied, as he pulled me close for a kiss.

"I have missed you so much," I replied,

"It's only been six days," Craig responded.

"Yeah, you promised that we would...you know...be joined," I spluttered out, I needed him, and I wanted him to know it,

"And we will, soon...I promise you," he replied.

I was becoming somewhat frustrated. he leaned into me, and kissed me, snaking his tongue deep into my mouth, letting it trace its way around my lower teeth,

"Whoa what was that?" I asked, as I felt a slight vibration, and then movement,

"We are pulling out of orbit. We are leaving Earth, Bobby," he replied, "I want to see. Craig, take me to where I can see. I want to say good-bye to my home," I wept out, "Sure, Babe, follow me."

I followed Craig down the passage, climbed into an elevator, but not one I had ever seen, it had us on an observation deck within seconds, and I could see Earth growing smaller, as we were passing the Moon, and then pulling away. Finally, in a flash, it was gone.

"Bobby, any time you want to visit Earth, you can. We have almost ninety percent of it saved in the ship's computer core, and it will translate to the Holographic system, so any time you feel homesick, just ask me, OK?" Craig said, again trying to raise my spirits, but this time, it worked.

"Fuck, just a few months ago, I was concerned about mid-terms, and how my dad would react, and now look at me. I am leaving Earth to live on another world, with my Fucking roommate, who turns out to be an Alien, let's see Spielberg write this shit," I said, pulling Craig to me,

"You will love my planet. There will be some wonderful things for you to see," he said, turning and kissing my lips, "Bobby will you be my Ra-Lok" Craig asked, looking into my eye's which had tears building.

"I love you more than I could possibly explain. I am travelling to places I could only imagine, and I want to make that journey with you, so yes, Craig, I will be your Ra-Lok," I said, pulling him back into my arms. His warmth always turned me on. "So what does this involve exactly?" I asked.

"I have to make you mine, and you have to make me yours," he replied, "Bobby, Lokite's, mate with only one, unless death forces us apart, so I make you mine as you make me yours," he added, "How?" I asked.

"Sex, I make you mine, and you return the same," he replied,

"You mean the person you fuck, you are married to?" I asked, "Yes, that is why I never had sex with anyone here, I had to wait until I found the one, and now I know I have," he replied.

I smiled, as now I was going to see him naked, and banish any misconceptions I may have had about the colour of his pubes and the length of his dick.

"Oh, I almost forgot; our parent's watch. It is a wedding, after all," Craig said, and horror crossed my face, a straight face was pinned to Craig's face, "Don't you invite family to Earth wedding ceremonies?" Craig asked, "Yeah, but not to the fucking wedding night," I proclaimed, "Lucky I was only joking, then," he responded.

"You are evil, pure fucking evil, but I love you," I said, once again kissing his warm welcoming lips, "Let's go back to our room," He said, "Why, what do you have in mind?" I asked.

"Our Wedding," he replied.
