"So you haven't told him?" Buffy asked, blocking a vampire's fist and pushing him back, "You might want to be honest with him."

I jumped into the air, bringing my fist down into another vampire's mouth, "What am I going to say? I slay vampires? I lose way too many potential boyfriends like that." I said, jabbing at the vampire with my stake, "Besides, we're new." The vampire punched me.

"Exactly, you should just be honest." Buffy said, kicking the vampire in the gut, "Always worked with me, except that one time when this guy got really excited about my slaying of vampires..."

"Yeah, but you're not exactly normal yourself." I said.

"Oh yeah?" Buffy asked, flipping the vampire.

I choked as the vampire throttled me with his foot, "He...He..." I grabbed the foot and twisted it, causing him to fall to the ground, then I gasped for air, "Hell's a Helluva place."

"Hey! I always thought of myself as normal...sort of." Buffy said.

I punched the vampire, flipping him over my shoulder, "Buffy, nothing about any of us is normal." I said casually staking the vampire.

"I guess." Buffy shrugged, staking the vampire, "But I kinda like it."

"It makes us all special." I smiled.

-

"So, what kind of adventures do you think Austin had? Maybe giant snakes and fantastic sea turtles." Kelly said as she walked down the street with Doug, "It must have been...fun? Or freeing."

"Freeing, definitely, but I'd imagine he missed us." Doug said, "I'm just glad he's back."

Kelly looked up at him, "Do you have a bromance?" she asked.

"A bromance? I've dated girls, Kel." Doug smiled, "Remember, Gemma, love of my life?"

"I just, well, for a while there, you left and didn't come around much." Kelly said.

"I was...mourning." Doug said.

"We both know you were more than mourning, you were trying to bring Austin back." Kelly said, causing Doug to look at her in shock, "The things is, I haven't told anyone else because with Austin coming back and everything happening, it's too much, but you have to stop." She said.

"How did you know?" Doug asked.

"You missed him a lot. You blamed yourself, which is dumb because it wasn't your fault." Kelly said, "We've been friends forever now and I've picked some things up."

"I took a splash in the deep end of the magic pool, but who doesn't?" Doug said.

Kelly raised her hand, gaining stares from people around. She immediately put her arm down, "Me." She said.

Just then, Cale came around the corner and stood in front of them.

"Oh, hello." Cale smiled.

"Hey." Doug said.

"Where are you two off to?" Cale asked.

"There were lattes." Kelly said.

"Lattes? Hmmm, well, they look very tasty." Cale said.

Doug watched them nervously, "I think I'm going to find Austin." He said, leaving.

"Well." Cale said nervously.

"You shouldn't be nervous cause...I'm nervous and one of us has to be unnervous." Kelly said.

Cale tried to form words.

"Maybe we should just...oh gosh." Kelly said, walking away.

"I'm not nervous." Cale said, a little late.

-

I kept Oz a secret, away from the house and he was cloaked so not even Willow could tell he was in town. The only other person that knew Oz was there was Cale.

"So, after I left, you died?" Oz asked.

"No." I said, "I faked it."

"So you took a vacation?" Oz asked.

"Where people thought I was dead." I said.

"That's a Slayer vacation." Oz said.

I shrugged.

"So, I'm the only one who knew you were alive?" Oz asked.

"It's kind of like a golden star." I smiled.

"Buffy's back?" Oz asked.

"Apparently, but just for a few days. He brought me out of my angry, sad phase." I said.

"That is freaky." Oz said.

"Yeah, who would have thought she'd be the one to help me." I said, "I was betting on Xander."

"No, the fact that you have an angry, sad phase." Oz said.

I chuckled.

"You were down?" Oz asked, "What are you worried about?"

"I'm worried that this town's going to burn around me and I'm not going to be able to stop it." I said.

Across town, in an abandoned warehouse...

"You've got to be kidding! This shit is insane! My boyfriend is going to fuck you up! Let me out of here!" A girl shouted. Soon, the girl burst into flames! A red demon walked out into sight, smiling grimly as he grabbed something out of the air, her anger, and threw it back at her, causing her to cough and hack until she combusted into flames.

Back across town...

"But, you know, it's just a personal fear." I said quickly.

-

"You're telling me it doesn't annoy just a little?" Oz asked.

"I suspect that their tryst will end very soon." Cale said, stocking books.

"And if it doesn't?" Oz asked.

Cale stopped and looked at him, "Then I shall weep like a young child and play sad songs." He said sarcastically, "I will be no less gentlemanly."

"It's a British thing." Oz said.

"It is no such thing, it's...it's a human thing." Cale said, "I am happy if she's happy."

"Is that a lie?" Oz asked.

Cale cleared his throat as Mal made his way back to them.

"These people are animals." Mal said, "Must be some freakity-doo convention in town."

"Yes, well, please refrain from calling them freaks to their faces, at least until they buy something." Cale said.

"Yeah, well, it's almost time to meet Austin and the gang." Mal said, "Should be interesting to see the old group back together."

"The old group?" Cale asked, "I was under the impression that that would be Connor, Austin, Oz, and Groosalugg."

"Right. That's what I meant." Mal said, "Where is Oz, anyways?"

"I'm sure I don't know who you're talking about." Cale said.

"Maybe I should google." Oz said.

-

Kelly and Doug walked up to the scene, not really knowing what was going on. There were police and bystanders and yellow tapes. Buffy and I already stood, watching as the cops showed their disgust for the scene. They whispered to each other and their faces told the story of how uncomfortable they were.

"What's going on?" Kelly asked as she and Doug made their way to us.

"We don't know, the cops aren't saying anything." Buffy said, "They're wacky that way."

"Shocker." I said, watching the scene. The paramedics came out, carrying something under the sheets. I squinted to see what was under the sheets and couldn't see anything but what looked like barbeque. Suddenly, an arm fell out and I immediately noticed that it was charred. I looked at Connor, who had apparently seen the same thing I'd seen.

"What?" Kelly asked.

"The arm...it was burned." Buffy said.

"Extra crispy?" Doug asked.

"More like Cajun style." I said.

"Demonic?" Kelly asked.

"Oh yeah." Buffy said.

"Study mode?" Doug asked.

"Oh yeah." I sighed, "But not for me, I've got to go and register for my classes." I smiled, walking away.

"Should it bother us that he does that?" Kelly asked.

"Nope, Slayers are more hands-on." Buffy joked.

-

"He hates us." Mrs. Young said as her husband filled out papers. She had been pacing and stressing over Austin. Mr. Young was stressed too, but preferred not to show it. Austin had reacted just like he predicted. It was funny that his wife expected a tearful reunion, especially with Titan there. He wasn't as optimistic as she was, after all, Titan had killed his parents and the only reason he was still around is because he got results. His parents had been their way and now they had outstayed their welcome. It wasn't about being evil, it wasn't about being good, it was just about the power! Austin would never understand that. He was more like his grandparents, always thinking of others before himself. Mr. Young, Kyan, was a realist. He believed in love and family and had been impressed by Austin, but now it was annoying and to add to it, it was Austin's calling. A certain amount of pride came with it, but did that mean Austin was supposed to be a woman? He had consulted with soothsayers and even the oracles and came to the same conclusion, no. Austin was just as he was supposed to be. It was a lot to swallow, even when they had abandoned him. It was meant to happen.

"Obelia, please, I'm trying to work." Kyan said.

"Aren't you worried about this?" Obelia asked, "He's our son."

Kyan was, he was absolutely livid, "He'll come around." He said, not bothering to look up.

"How can you be so sure?" Obelia asked, "He is his father's son."

Kyan looked up, "Obelia, all we have to do is wait for him, he will come around." He said.

"Mr. and Mrs. Young, you're five o'clock is here." Titan said at the door.

"Send him in." Kyan said.

The red demon walked in and took a seat across the desk from the duo.

"Hello, Symko." Obelia said, "We have a job for you."

-

"So, it's not a La'Rika demon?" Kelly asked, hovering over Cale's shoulder, "I mean, it burns its victims."

"No." Cale said, "It lives in cooler climates."

"Ironic." Mal said.

"So, it could be any of these 500 demons?" Doug sighed, slumping into his seat, "I wish we knew what it looked like, maybe there should be more patrols."

"I haven't seen any demons around." Mal said, "And I've been patrolling for months."

"Maybe the demon followed Austin back." Kelly suggested.

"I'll get the books from the house." Xander said, walking to the back.

-

"I see your grades have dropped." The guidance counselor said, "Have you even thought about a major yet?"

I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, "Yeah, it was...a really rough year." I tried to explain, "But I'm going to have a better year."

"Any plans on how?" she asked.

I just stared at her. Later, after our meeting, I walked down the street, a little lost. When I got to my house, I walked in and turned on the light and slid my keys down onto the coffee table. I stopped when I saw something move and suddenly a flood of books fell to the floor and Xander walked out, a few books in his hands.

"Whatcha doin, Xand?" I asked.

"Just getting these books." Xander smiled, "What's wrong?"

"Huh?" I asked.

"You look like your puppy just got pinned to the door." Xander said, "Funny story..."

"Yeah, I remember that." I said, "I'd kill for Angelus to be here, at least there'd be some fun to be had."

Xander looked at me.

"I'm kidding. Sort of." I said, "I met with a counselor and she thinks I'm bright but has no future."

"Sounds a lot like Buffy." Xander said.

I stared at him.

"I just mean, she was pretty lost about her future, but look at her now." Xander said.

"She wasn't even being a bitch, she was just being honest." I frowned.

"Look, you're a bright ki...guy." Xander said. I looked up at him, "You're going to do big things, no tests or grades can tell you otherwise."

"Thanks, Xand. I'm kind of missing the encouragement." I said.

Xander and I just stared, and then we began to kiss and Xander threw me up against the wall! As we kissed passionately, Xander tried to pull my shirt above my head. God how I missed his touch, so soft and gentle, but rough and manly at the same time! Suddenly, something crashed through the window and threw Xander back against the opposite wall. I ducked his attack and kicked him in the stomach. I moved in to strike him again, but he moved too quickly and soon I found myself on my back. The demon's talons barely missed my face as I rolled out of the way. I grabbed the coffee table and threw it at him, but he rolled out of the way!

"Dammit, I'm not replacing that!" I growled, watching a stream of fire shoot from the demon's mouth! Xander was back on his feet and had tackled me to the ground by now.

"You draw his fire." Xander took off across the room. The demon focused on him and I made my move! I grabbed my keys off the floor and used my speed to walk over to him, but he turned to me. I didn't care, I jabbed him in the throat with the keys and he sputtered, "Can't breathe fire if you can't breathe." I said.

Xander, who had watched the whole thing went for the weapons trunk. I, on the hand, ducked the demon's talons and bent backwards, barely missing his talons, and punched him in the stomach! The demon stumbled backwards and lost his head on the edge of Xander's sword!

"Thanks." I said quickly.

Xander looked from me to the floor and stood, kissing me again, then he began sucking on my neck! He made it feel so good! I moaned as he sucked and he began to undress me as our lips met again. He gently pulled my shirt over my head and I gave a chuckle. I did the same for him, accidentally ripping his button up shirt. He just chuckled. I licked and sucked at his lips, trying to savor every last ounce of flavor he had, he tasted so good to me and I to him. He gently laid me on the bed, unzipping my pants while licking at my nipples until they were hard enough to bite. I moaned a little, which made him go for it more, made him want me that much more. He ripped off my jeans and threw them to the side, coming back up to my face and sucking at my lips! I could feel his need and started kissing every part of me, finally pulling my underwear off. He stood on his knees on the bed and I saw for the first time that his 9' inch cock was showing through his jeans, which he quickly discarded and then he put away his underwear. He climbed on top of me, still sucking at my face. Xander licked at my 8' inch dick, sucking the head and licking at it! I felt so free, freer than I had been in so long, as if I were flying. I guess that feeling was exacerbated by him licking at my hole. He licked for a long time, then inserted his fingers, playing with my hole, making me moan. I wanted to cry out, in joy, but I couldn't. Before long, he stopped and something bigger found its way into my hole. Xander swore as he inserted his cock, a very pained or pleasured look was written on his face, a large vein bulging in the center of his forehead.

"Ahhh, baby, you're so tight." Xander whispered, grabbing me into a bear hug and lifting me up. We were vertical as he started pushing me up and pulling me down onto his cock. I was speechless as he fucked me with long, hard strokes. I could feel it sliding in and out, the clapping sound almost drop my wild! Xander began to make out with me furiously as he pumped me up and down. There was a moment, one pure moment where our minds connected. We both had one thought: Love. It was like a summary of our whole lives, of our love. We shared memories, thoughts, and everything else in that one moment before we climaxed. Xander laid me back down before extracting his long cock and slumping over beside me with a look of pure joy on his face.
