"Ready guys?"

Walking down the stairs, opening out into the main room, Alex spots two human forms, `sleeeping', on the sofa.

"Bad fake job, guys!" Alex tells them.

Breaking out of their act, Dustin starts tickling Raj.

"Okay. I quit!"

"What are you gonna do for me, to stop?"

Alex says to Kyle, "Have you ever seen such nonsense?"

"Not as much as getting whipped with a wet rag or leather belt!" Kyle replied.

"Leather belt?" Dustin questions.

"Don't get any ideas," Raj says of Dustin's inquiry.

Dustin comes right `out of the blue' with, "Ready to go shopping?"

"I am," Alex says. "Um, don't forget your shirt, hon?"

Of the four, Kyle was the only one flaunting the smooth chest, perfect whiteness, accented by a little dab of hair near his navel.

"Be right back!"

Scrambling back up the stairs, Kyle returned in a flash, buttoning up his shirt.

"Is it too warm out for a jacket?"

"You might need it later, Kyle," Raj suggests.

"Take one. You can always leave it in the car."

So, the quartet made their way down the short flight of stairs, where Kyle's jeep was parked out front. Raj and Dustin sat in the back, Kyle driving, Alex at his side.

"Just where are we headed?" Dustin inquires, after being on the road for all of ten minutes.

"There's a grocery store near Hunter College, on a street in the sixties," Kyle advises them. "Oh look! Lucky us!"

Kyle pulls into a parking place.

"You lucked out, Kyle," Dustin says, patting him on the back. Next on his mind was, "All we need is the aisle with the chips."

"I'm sure Dominic means for you to pick out more than chips?"

Alex adds to Kyle's remarks, "Think `nutrition', guys?"

"Right," Raj says, "and don't forget the salsa. Salsa is very good for you."

As they walked in the front door, two sliding open, Alex came upon the first department he planned on having them to shop, fruits and vegetables.

"First, pick up a bag of spinach."

"Are you serious, Alex?"

"I am. Mom always made her salads from spinach. She says dark green veggies are best for you."

"Okay, Alex. You're the boss."

It made Alex feel good for Kyle to trust him in this manner. Here, he was footing the bill for their grocery shop excursion and trusting him with whatever they came across.

"And two heads of broccoli, some snap peas, carrots, eggplant..."

"Wait! Who's gonna eat all of this?" Kyle questions his lover.

"We are. Trust me."

"I think you should know the answer to that by now, Alex."

Alex smiled back, as the chain continued, Kyle being the middle link, to the green wired shopping cart. Selecting a plastic bag, he gave it to Kyle. "Here, see if you can pick out fifteen or so of those nice apples."

"Fifteen?"

"Yeah, I know. Who's going to eat all these?" Alex joked.

"We are!" Kyle counter attacked his flair at humor.

For a few minutes they became separated. While Alex is picking out the broccoli, a young man, dressed in work gear, a green apron over his tee shirt, came by, asking, "Need any help?"

Alex doesn't know what to say at first, taking in the deep-set, hazel eyes, the cocoa brown tan.

"Um, yes. I mean no. I mean, I wanted a couple of these fine looking heads of broccoli."

"Look," the clerk, seemingly the same age as Alex, says, "put them back. They've been sitting out here for an hour. Let me get you two fresh bunches from the back."

"Sure. Thanks."

Meanwhile, Alex goes over to see what's holding up Kyle and the fifteen apples.

"Hey!" Alex surprises him.

Jumping, Kyle replies, "Whoooooa!"

Startled, Kyle's hand hits the three-deep pile of apples. Like making a run for it, three tumbling off the table becomes five, five becomes ten, ten becomes twenty.

"Oh shit!" Kyle calls out as scores of apples are in motion.

Soon the apples come to a halt. The two stand there, ankle deep in about a hundred apples!

"Here's your broccoli... oops, did somebody have an accident?"

Reaching over the counter, the cute clerk notices `some' apples missing. "Not your fault," he says. "I told dad more than once to either corral these or don't stack them more than two rows."

"Gee, I'm really sorry about this, um..." Kyle really wanting a name to attach to the Hispanic dude's face.

"Carlos. Carlos Guerra. My dad owns the market," Carlos tells them.

Alex takes his broccoli, stashes it in the basket, then bends down and starts picking up apples.

"Leave it. We'll get them," Carlos states.

"We can help."

While squatting down, Kyle and Carlos bump heads.

"Oops. Sorry `bout that," Kyle apologizes.

"No problem."

"The klutzy one's name is Kyle Dryfiss and I'm Alex Nouguet. It's my first trip here," Alex tells Carlos.

"I've been here before," Kyle carries on the small talk. "But I haven't seen you."

"Oh, well that's because I transferred."

"Transferred?"

"Yes. I was going to the Boston Conservatory of Music. Then there was a mixup and my first choice came through, Manhattan School of Music. So, I'm staying in the city."

"Cool," Kyle tells Carlos, "I applied there, but didn't get in."

"Not cool," Carlos says, picking up his hundredth apple. "What would have been your major?"

"Trumpet. And you?"

"Percussion. What about you Alex?"

"I'll be going to the Fashion Institute of Technology."

"Yeah," Kyle jokes, "Alex is out to design the new brief for the future of mankind!"

"Nice idea," Carlos says, looking at nearly a clear floor, his eyes stealing glances elsewhere.

"Thanks," Alex says, then taking a wild gamble, asks, "If you're not doing anything, you're invited over for dinner this evening."

"Really? Thanks, but I'm spending tonight with my dad," Carlos says.

"I guess my invitation was premature," Alex said, a little embarrassed.

"No. Not at all," Carlos tells him, "In fact I'd like to hear Kyle play the trumpet, sometime."

"Really? Maybe you can bring your drumset and we can jam!" Kyle says.

"Oh, well right now I'm into classical music. I'm a little rusty on the set, but sure. We can arrange something."

"Cool," Alex and Kyle say at the same time, Kyle adding, "I think I picked out my fifteen."

"Eat healthy, I take it?"

"I'm trying to convert Kyle," Alex replies.

"Don't forget the strawberries. There's nice bags in the frozen case and the wheat germ is in the organic section."

"Thanks for the tip, Carlos," Alex says. "Say, Carlos, do you have a cell number or something?"

"Now that's strange."

"What is?" Alex questions Carlos' query.

"For a minute there, I had the impression you two were, unless I'm mistaken, a couple?" Carlos smiled, asking.

Alex's face turned red. "Oh, did I make it like I was.. I mean I...." Being a new kind of relationship for Alex, he wasn't sure whether to use partnered', coupled' or in a relationship', so he settled for "Um, yes. We're together'!"

"Okay."

Kyle butts in, "If it sounded like Alex was coming on to you, we're real sorry. He can be a dork like that, sometimes!"

Alex takes a hefty swing, the back of his hand hitting Kyle in the stomach, right below his armful of apples, causing a smaller avalanche. With quick reflexes, both Alex and Carlos keep them from overflowing to the floor.

"No. Not at all, Carlos replies. "You see, I've never been in a relationship myself, so I'm not so sure about how these things go. Hey... I've got to get back to work." Taking a marking pen, Carlos jots a number down on the plastic bag of apples. He also signed his signature. "When you get to the register, tell the cashier the apples are on me and thanks for helping to pick them up!"

Kyle and Alex extend their gratitude, then move on. >From around the corner, comes Dustin and Raj, with cart in hands. It's loaded with stuff Alex would deem as `untouchables'.

"Um, guys, who's the four bags of Doritos for?" Kyle asks.

"Us. And the salsa is nutritious. You don't think Devon and Dom are going to go for the Cap'n'Crunch?"

"How on earth do you maintain your six pack, Raj?" Alex asks.

"Diet and exercise."

"I have a better idea," Alex tells him, "Switch baskets and we'll take care of evening yours out."

"What's wrong with this?"

"Four packages of gum? How about some apples?" Alex asks.

"I like apples. Do you like apples?" Raj asks Dustin.

"Sure I like apples. And bananas too. They have any mangoes?"

"Like I said. You two shop the veggies and fruits and we'll take care of your basket of `goodies'!"

In twenty minutes the two carts met, upfront.

"The manager, Carlos, came over and showed us how to pick out the best mangoes?" Dustin says.

"Yeah, he's a `really' nice guy," Raj adds, "and guess what?"

"What?" Alex and Kyle both ask.

"They said you said he can come over for dinner. What about us?"

"Nothing like inviting yourself, eh Dustin?"

Dustin grins.

Suddenly, Carlos appears at the end of the cash station. He starts bagging.

"By the way, Dad cancelled out, so if your offer for dinner still stands, I can take you up on it."

Since Alex invited, he replied, "Sure. Let me give you my address."

"Phone number too," Kyle eagerly states.

On their way out, Alex looked over his shoulder. Carlos had vanished.

"How old do you think he is?" Dustin asks.

Kyle replies, "If he's a college freshman, he can't be older than us."

Alex shares, "'Can't be older than eighteen or nineteen."

"Although," Raj adds, "Carlos seems a lot older."

Dustin ventures to say, "He sure is hot looking!"

"In case you're wondering," Kyle interjects food for thought, "he's `one of us'!"

"I told you!" Raj says, fake punching Dustin in the shoulder.

"Yeah... yeah," Dustin returned.

Pulling up to the three story townhome, the four hauled the bags up the short flight of stone steps. "Hurry up," Dustin yelled, "before my arm breaks off!" Alex fished in his pocket for his set of keys, saying, "Keep your shirt on!" He then let them all in, Dustin pushing ahead, up the next flight of steps. Raj, following him, as he walked the short hallway, entering the rather spacious, contemporary kitchen.

"I can start to put stuff away, if you want to run Dustin and Raj home?" Alex offered.

Kyle liked the tradeoff. It took less than an hour, Kyle returning, letting himself in.

"Honey, I'm hooooooome!"

"Great. Now we can relax."

Kyle likened the sound of that. Going into the livingroom, the two kicked their shoes off and turned on the Tv. After flipping over channels, they turned the sound down all the way and began making out. Breaking off his kiss, Kyle lifted Alex's shirt off, over his head. Alex did the same, exposing Kyle's barechest.

"I don't know how a guy with all this brown chest hair wound up with blue eyes," Kyle says of Alex, flat on his back.

Kyle, kneeling over him, runs his hand through the soft chest hair.

"I started out in life with dark blond hair and as I got older, it got darker. Besides, it's not like they are bright blue."

"You don't hear me complaining. I think they look like jewels."

Smiling, Alex did a crunch, kissing Kyle on the forehead, the only place he could reach. In retribution, Kyle leaned all the way over, cupping his mouth over Alex's hairy right nip, sticking his tongue into the nickel-sized nip.

"Oooooooooh!" Alex moaned, arching his back.

"Sensitive, are we?"

"Well, I never had my nips toyed with."

"Toyed with, eh? Hmm.... maybe I've found some new `toys' to play with," Kyle says, with a bit of mischief on his mind. Reaching out, he takes one wet and one dry nip in between his index fingers and thumbs, mashing them.

"Ooooooooh shit!" Alex voices his opinion of how good it feels, not only by words, by the filling of the package between his legs.

Kyle moves his hand down, giggling, reaching Alex's beltline, unfastening the button holding his jeans together.

"What are you gonna do?"

"As if you don't know?"

Smiling, Alex can only guess, with desire on his mind. Hearing his zipper going down, he's now sure of Kyle's plan of attack. It's only thirty seconds later when Kyle anchors Alex's briefs under his big balls. Kicking his feet out from under him, he lays, lengthways down on Alex's legs. His mouth falls right in proximity of the 9.5c, sticking straight up. Flaunting his dark-haired pits, Alex puts his hands behind his head, readying himself for an awesome blow job.
