"Good thing!" Kyle said to himself with a deep exhale as he turned his key in the lock of the townhouse, grateful Knapp hadnt changed the locks. Walking in, closing the door, his steps leading him towards the loft, another sigh came when he found everything to be as quiet as a church. Then as he walked up the circular, wrought iron staircase, he thought he heard something. He stopped. "Damn" he uttered a weak curse, thinking to himself, I thought nobody was home'! In all consideration, Kyle had hoped Knapp wasn't there so he could get what he came for and make a quick escape. Even though, he wanted to get the valuable item and leave the past behind forever. He pondered whether to leave and come back another time. He even put one foot on the lower step after turning around. But, it was the other half of his present for Alex. He felt like an idiot for not remembering to take it and didn't feel like making another trip back. So, he turned and continued ascending. All the while he took soft steps. If Knapp was stirring in his sleep, possibly he could steal by him, get what he came for and vamoose!

As he popped his head above the top railing of the stairway, his intention was to make sure Knapp was still in dreamland. What he saw made him gasp., made him exclaim loudly, "Knapp?" And as he rounded the last set of stairs, "What the fuck?"

There on the bed Knapp lay, wrists still gathered up in the leather cuffs Tony had bound him up in, still connected them through the lattice of the wrought iron headboard.

"Oh my God! Knapp!" Kyle gasped out loudly and again, "What the fuck have you gotten yourself into ?" When he saw him, lying on his stomach, naked, back crisscrossed with welts. "What the fuck happened to you?"

Turning his head, Knapp tried uttering through his tears, his parched throat uttering, "Help.... Help me please!"

"Zarins," Michael read off the front of the store as the five of them stood there.

It was only supposed to be Alex, Michael and Scotty, on the excursion for material to start off Alex on the next phase of his `briefs' business, but when Vince caught wind of the project he volunteered himself and Jorgen along for the ride!

"This is the place Kyle has written here," Alex said, looking down at the paper in his hand.

"What're we waiting for boys?" Vince says, rubbing two hands together, then holding the door to the fabric store open.

Michael jokes to Vince, "Ever think of holding doors open for a living?"

"Get in there you little pipsqueak!" Vince said, his knee giving Michael's ass a little coaxing!

And no sooner had they gotten in the door, Vince spies a cool design. "Oh-h-h-h now wouldn't this look flashy around my torso!" He unrolls a few feet and drapes it around the front of him.

Alex giggles, them all waiting for an explanation. "I hardly think you would care for wool touching your bare ass, Vince!"

"Why not? Nice color?"

It's Jorgen who takes the roll out of Vince's hand and proceeds to roll it up. "I think Alex is trying to be nice. Let me tell it to you straight Vince. Your jewels are hot enough!"

Scotty throws his two cents in, "Not to mention you'll probably be itching the whole time you're wearing them?"

"Oh," Vince shuns it off, his lips caressing a smile. Then asking the authority, "What did you have in mind Alex?"

Alex replies with a cool, sexy, snaky, "S-s-s-s-silk!"

Stunned was what Kyle was feeling, seeing Knapp fastened face down on the bed, obvious marks of being beaten, sniveling, which was far from the steady, upright, pompous individual his brother portrayed every other time he had been with him.

"Help me, Kyle... before... he gets back!" Knapp pleaded in between groans of pain, the leather cuffs tearing at his wrists and his lacerated back tormenting him with the slightest of movement.

Right away Kyle springs into action, kneeling on the side of the bed. In the past, the two hadn't exactly seen eye to eye, but being it wasn't the same' Knapp lying there in the bed, not the one Kyle was used to, but rather a picture of a human in disguise as a wounded animal', he leapt into action, hands gnawing at the buckles of the leather cuffs. "Oh hold it!" he stopped. Reaching into his pocket he retrieved his cellphone. "If we're expecting company," Kyle meant Knapp's perpetrators, he figured the more company they found when they arrived, the better. Especially a certain kind. He dialed 911. After the emergency number he pressed his number one fan, but instead of Alex live', he got a recorded message. Kyle damned' himself.

Then back he went, formulating Knapp's release. "Sorry," he said over and over as his brother yelped in pain as first one cuff released his left hand, his left arm flopping to the bed. The right followed when Kyle completely released Knapp from his bondage.

Next on his immediate agenda was to get Knapp downstairs. At least he would be one step ahead when the `cavalry' arrived. On his first try he found Knapp could hardly move, hurting and feeling complete fatigue. "C'mon Knapp. You've got to help yourself too?"

Realizing the time spent releasing his arms, Knapp changes his plea, "Forget me, bro... save yourself.... Tony'll be back any minute."

He didn't know who Tony was, but if this is what he did to his brother, he surely did not want to suffer the same fate. "Okay, but I'm not forgetting about you bro. I'll be back for you!" As he rounded the first tier of the circular stairway he stopped in his tracks, seeing his bro in the state he was in, battered, physically bruised, Knapp not even coherent enough to think about his own image bruised, reduced to half a man, less, than the portrayal of 'Knapp' in the past.

"Get... get outta here, Kyle!"

He did what Knapp told him, something he didn't take to kindly in the past. Hands on both sides of the railing he flew down the stairs, his hands like a train on the track, his feet taking leaps and bounds. At the bottom he looked up to the loft yelling, "I'll be back for ya Knapp!"

Running for the front door his hand grabbed the knob and pulled it open. Little did he know, Tony's hand was on the outside pushing on it!

"Oh-h-h-h now isn't this sweet? Huh Jorgie?"

"On you Vince?" Jorgen replies.

Michael, Scotty and Alex laugh their asses off.

"Oh really?" He tried stifling their opinions. "I think I would look sexy in orange paisley!"

And they all agreed when Jorgen tells, "Sure Vince, if you want your ass to look like two giant oranges!"

More laughter, plus Jorgen's opinion, which Vince valued when he confessed it to be truthful, tossed the fabric roll back into its little cubbie.

"Are you finding everything?"

He was standing not far from Michael, Scotty and Alex, a few feet away from Jorgen and Vince, so he probably didn't hear Vince utter, "Oh- wow!"

Not finding a bit of fault with his boyfriend's judgment, Jorgen concedes in a muffled tone, "What a knockout!"

Probably the other three had similar perspectives, but kept their comments to themselves, Alex taking the helm, "We... I was looking for something in silk?"

Not meant to be nosy, the salesclerk replies, "And for what purpose would you be needing silk?"

Smiling, blushing a little, Alex says, "I design men's briefs."

A little embarrassment was okay, Alex figuring a long time ago briefs' to be a touchy subject, but he wasn't prepared when Michael went beyond the overall picture, "Alex's briefs are really different. Y'see they've got this addition in the front called a cock-sock'. You know what it's for?"

He crossed his arms in front of him, looked at Alex, smiled and then trained his attention on Michael. "No. What's it for?"

"Michael!" Alex exclaimed. Then to throw the guy's mind off track, Alex steps between Michael and the dude, sticks out his hand and offers, "I'm Alex Nouguet. I'm attending the Fashion Institute of Technology this fall and I need to make up something for my portfolio." Some of the truth was prefabricated, but it helped to get the guy's mind off Michael and onto something else!

Giving Alex a firm shake, the salesclerk identifies himself as, "Dennis Coffey. Nice to meet you Alex." Then without wasting time, "I've got a half hour left on the clock, but if you can move fast I can show you a few things?"

"I bet you can!" Vince joked with Jorgen in such a low volume only the two could appreciate the joking around.

"C'mon!" Jorgen tapped his hand against Vince's chest, "looks like this guy moves fast!"

Vince couldn't help but `think' of the implications!

And as Dennis whisked Alex away the others seemed to lag behind till they were lost.

With the surprise of his life Kyle gasped out loud, seeing this big hulk' of a man standing there before him. Stuck in his mind was what Knapp told him and if this was Tony', he was in big trouble.

"Well, well, well... what do we have here?"

Quick on his feet, Kyle said, "Excuse me," and tried sideswiping.

"Hold it right there!" The force of Tony grabbing Kyle's shirt caused the fabric to stress, tearing a hole in the shoulder. "Not so fast!"

"Let me go!" Kyle yelled out. Doing what he saw in a movie once, he kicked up his heels, throwing his arms out in all direction, kicking up a fuss.

What he didn't count on was Tony's fist!

"Ughhhhhh!" he belched when Tony swung him around. Clutching his stomach, Kyle fell to his knees.

Tony replied, "I warned you." And then looking down upon Kyle, one hand rubbed the fist which plowed Kyle's gut, as he giggled and said, "On second thought felt kind of good! How about another one?"

Kyle screamed out, grabbed at Tony's other hand with his two, as Tony lifted him up by his scalp.

But to both of their surprise, Tony was met with, "Leave him alone you bastard!" It was all the energy Knapp had left inside him, to haul himself down the stairs, gang up on Tony with his two arms and pounce on his back. But the amount of force met with nothing near intended, instead a slight `stun'.

"Is that so?" Tony replies, laying off Kyle and going after Knapp.

With more energy, after Tony had tucked in Knapp's gut for him with two hefty punches, giving him the `ole one-two', Kyle leaps up and jumps on Tony's back.

"Lay off him you big bully!"

He thought he had him, wringing his neck with one elbow, crushing Tony's Adam's apple, but he was no match for Italian gargantuan, as an elbow caught him in the side of his torso. Kyle would remember later on, before collapsing onto the floor he thought he heard something `crack'.

Knapp made one last attempt which caused him a punishing blow, Tony's knee between the legs.

And when Tony turned around, there Kyle was, lying on the floor faced down, his sweet ass pointed in Tony's direction!

"I like the surfboards!" Michael calls out, him and Scotty catching up to Alex and Dennis.

"Surfboards, huh?" Dennis copies. "Hmm, all the times I've looked at this and I never saw it!"

Alex sets the record straight, "It's called `loopy loops', Michael."

"Hmm," Michael says, taking the silky fabric in his hands and studying it. "What do you think?" he asks Scotty.

"Looks like surfboards to me!"

Then Michael contradicts the designer, "Somebody goofed!"

But Scotty's interest is, "Are you going to make us `surfboard' briefs Alex?"

"Do you `want' surfboard briefs?" Alex questions him, knowing the answer.

"Me too!" Michael says. "How much is it going to cost us?"

Alex had no intentions of charging them, especially since he was putting it on the Mastercard Kyle gave him, the one with the `bottomless pit' credit limit. But in a joking mood, levels with them, "Well, at $45 a yard, plus labor... I'd say..."

And before Alex rounds out the total, Michael's saying, "Too steep for me!" And he and Scotty about-faced, heading off to the bargain table!

Vince and Jorgen were `lost' somewhere, so it was Alex and Dennis.

"Um, I think your half hour is up," Alex reminds.

"It's okay. I can take a little overtime." Unknown to Alex, Dennis had just gone off the clock and was on his `own' time.

"Great. You want to show me more?"

Walking ahead of Alex, Dennis had a huge grin on his face. Sure he wanted to show Alex `more'!
