Except for the beep-beep-beep of the alarm clock, it was quiet as a morgue, as Alex winked awake. Hitting the clock's snooze' feature, he fell back into bed, but not asleep. First thing to come to mind is Einan'. The hand that didn't turn off the alarm clock, was under the sheets, busy quelling another desire. Picking the top sheet up, Alex peered down between, peering over his hairy bod. He had a bold hardon. "Damn!" he exclaimed to himself. The alarm kicked in for the second time, Alex rushing to quell it so it didn't mess with Kyle's dreams. Slinging the sheet aside, he rolled over and sat on the edge of the bed. His cock stuck out straight as a flagpole. "Jon," he said out loud, proceeding to the jon, standing before the toilet, willing his cock to let loose. However it didn't. When he stroked it, some precum came drooling out. "Dammit Einan!" Alex began to feel real guilty. Up until now, it's only been Kyle bringing on his erections, causing his nuts to boil, leak out when it became too bottled up.

"You up?"

Gasping, Alex's hand went right to his chest, as he said, "Oh, you scared the hell outta me!"

"Hell?" Kyle questioned, looking around Alex's waist. "I think I scared more than that out of ya!"

Taking an index finger, Kyle lubed it up from Alex's wick and sucked down the gooey treat.

"Now it comes," Alex said, as his shaft let loose with a torrent of piss.

"What?" Kyle said, standing in line, adding, "Hurry up, before I have to do it in the sink!"

Alex turned and smirked.

"Hey Alex! Watch where you're going!"

"Oops!" Alex blurted out, gearing his cock back on target, making yellowy bubbles.

Taking layers of toilet tissue Kyle reached down to soak up the yellow water accumulated on the rim.

"I can do that."

"You just pay attention to what you're doing!" Kyle barked out the order.

"Whew! I felt like I pissed out a gallon," Alex told him, shaking out the remnants.

It was Kyle's turn. He had no problem in letting loose the yellow stream.

"I've gotta tell you something," Alex said, as he drew up a shower.

Yawning, Kyle replied, "Can it wait til later? I'm going back to bed."

"I suppose," Alex talked to himself.

While rubbing the soap all over his bod, it kept coming back to him about last night, their bods pressed together, Einan rubbing his hands up his back, til he cupped the back of his head, forcing the luscious kiss to his lips. Force of habit, while he shower-dreamed, Alex's hard cock was in the clutches of his hand. `Dammit! I've gotta stop this!' Alerting himself to his hard shaft, he hurriedly washed the soap off and turned off the jets. Sliding the door back, he grabbed for his towel and dried off. Marching into the bedroom, he had to get Kyle's attention so he could get Einan off his mind.

"Kyle! Wake up!"

"What?" He sat up. "The house on fire?"

"No. Nothing like that... well maybe."

"What then?" Kyle said.

With the towel draped around his neck, hanging down each side of his wet, furry chest, Alex plops his ass down on the bed.

"Mmmm... I feel like it too," was Kyle's response, be it reading Alex wrongly.

"I'm not here for sex!"

Kyle moaned, disappointed.

"I need to tell you something important and I need your attention."

Still sitting up, Kyle keeled over backwards into the bed, saying, "Go ahead."

"This is really important, so stop fooling around."

"You're serious, aren't you?"

"Kyle, last night Einan helped me bring the three of you inside."

"I had a thought, being Einan was a nice guy," Kyle interrupted.

"You won't think so, after you hear this. Last night when he said goodbye, he gave me a kiss."

"Isn't that sweet," Kyle said, upbeat.

"No. Not just a peck on the cheek. He slipped his arms around me... embraced me... cupped my head in his hand and kissed me deeply."

Alex waited, expecting hellfire to rain down.

Kyle responded, "Is he a good kisser?"

"I knew you were going to make a joke out of this!"

Jumping out of the bed, Alex paraded back into the jon.

"Wait Alex!" Kyle called out, following him several feet behind.

Standing there at the doorway, he watched Alex take out the shaving brush, twist the cap off the container of shaving soap, dab the brush in it, swirl it around, finally applying the lather to his face.

"You're really angry at me, aren't you?"

"No... well yes... not really angry just upset."

"What's the difference?" Kyle asks, bracing the door beam with a hand, as if he's keeping it from falling down, the other hand loosening up his privates.

"Don't you get it? The guy kissed me like we were lovers on a serious date. Doesn't that disturb you?"

"Well, did you fight him off?"

His face lathered as if Santa Claus, Alex put both hands on the sink and looked down into it.

"No... I... I don't know why I didn't."

"I know why and I don't blame you for it."

"You do? You don't?" Alex answered, perplexed, staring at Kyle through the mirrored portal, looking at him as arms are folded just below his pecs.

"Sure. I don't know if I would do anything different if I were in your shoes. Einan's a model. He looks good. He's lucked out that he's got a great looking face and those dreamy, green eyes that dazzle like emeralds."

"Emeralds?"

"Yeah. Last night you and he had quite a conversation. While you chatted with him, I checked him out."

"You did, did you?"

"Look, Alex. Now I know you kissed him. It doesn't bother me. I know it's a fluke... a once-and-over-and-done thing. I'm not taking it like you're cheating on me or anything, okay?"

"Yeah... I guess."

"So, finish your shaving and I'll go check on Carlos and Scott, put on some coffee and cook up some eggs or something."

"Okay," Alex replied.

Even though half his face was lathered up, Kyle kissed him, saying, "Good morning!"

Opening the bedroom door which intersected the hallway, Kyle immediately smelled `cooking'.

Walking into the kitchen, he asked "What time did you two get up?"

"Don't talk so loud," Carlos told Kyle.

Going over to Carlos, sitting barechested on a kitchen stool at the counter, Kyle whispers softly into his ear, "Good morning!"

Carlos still moaned, with a disparing hangover.

"Your cheese went moldy, so we're having plain eggs," Scott said, quite the opposite, chipper as a chipmunk.

"You were wasted last night, Scott. Don't you feel it?" Kyle inquires.

"I guess not. I've never been drunk before. I guess I learned something from it."

"And what would that be?"

"I don't get a hangover?"

"Sure, you don't, but poor Carlos here," Kyle said, rubbing his hand on the latino's bare shoulder, over the barbed wire tattoo, which circled his upper arm.

Approaching the two, Scott hands two red coffee mugs, full to the brim with java.

"Thanks," Kyle says.

Scott's hand on Carlos' shoulder, he uprights his bent over bod. Shoving the steamy mug in front of him, Scott offers, "Here. Drink this up. It'll make you feel better."

"Well, I don't deny it wasn't all worth it."

"Huh?" Scott said to Carlos.

"I had a good time last night. One that I hadn't had in a long time."

Smiling, Scott replied, "Yeah. Me too. Probably the best time I've had in my whole life!"

"Really?" Carlos asked, surprised.

"First time I've ever been to a bar."

Fixing a cup of coffee for Alex, Kyle's ears are taking it all in.

"Wow!" Carlos exclaims. "I figure by the time any guy hits eighteen, they've been to a bar."

"I was always nervous around guys, so kind of stayed by myself. My mom was always teaching me something about cooking, so I hung around in the kitchen a lot."

"So, didn't you even go out with the other guys from your high school?"

"I... I guess I'm weird that I didn't, huh?" Scott asks.

Forgetting about his headache, a little upset stomach, the feeling of wanting to go back to bed, Carlos replies, "You know, you have a lot of catching up to do. I suppose if I don't make it happen, you'll never get caught up?"

Taking his mug and another full of coffee, Kyle goes back to the bedroom. By now, Alex has finished chopping off his whiskers and is in front of the bedroom mirror, fixing his tie.

"It's straight. Here," Kyle hands Alex the mug.

"It's not a real bowtie. Not one you tie from scratch. Ian gave me this one. He says he never got the hang of tying one, either."

"Well, Alex, if you're going to go on to become a men's fashion designer, you'll need to learn. It's one of the basics. Besides, I always thought it sexy when a man unties it, opens the collar of his shirt and lets it hang down."

Alex says, lightheartedly, "Hmm, something I'll have to remember."

Setting his mug down, Kyle walks up behind Alex, puts his arms around his swimmer's waist, takes him in his arms, chest to back, perceiving Alex with a hanging memory, renders, "I told you. I wasn't mad at you."

"Okay, so you're not `upset' with me," Alex rephrases it. "I still feel guilty."

"Alex," Kyle forced him to spin around and face him, "first of all, it wasn't even your own doing. By your description, it was Einan who manhandled you. Am I right?"

"Um, yeah."

"So? Where do you get off blaming yourself?"

"I didn't fight him off, that's where," Alex still harped on the seem-so innocent kiss.

Frustrated, Kyle says, "Look, Alex, I'm not angry or jealous and I don't blame you for what happened, so just forget it."

"I've gotta get to work."

"Okay, but I don't want you sulking over this all day. Promise me Alex?"

"I'll try not to," Alex replied, as Kyle said, "good enough," kissing Alex in the same manner Einan did last night - well, early morning.

Walking downstairs from the secluded loft, Alex traveled the circular, black iron-railed staircase. Stopping midway, he viewed from a distance, over the partition separating the kitchen from the rest of the house. Smiling, he stamped his feet as he descended, giving fair warning of his approach to the couple kissing at the kitchen island. By the time Alex reached the opening the two had broken apart, Carlos returning to his perch on the stool.

"What time do you have to be at the store, Carlos?" Alex inquired, to break the ice.

"Around noontime, thank God," Carlos replied, as Scott put a new mug of coffee in his hand, taking away the almost empty one.

"You look as fit as a fiddle?" Alex directs to Scott.

"I can't understand it. It must be in my genes, but I didn't feel the effects of guzzling down beer, like poor Carlos here."

According to Alex, Carlos didn't look half as bad as Kyle described.

"The coffee was good," Alex said, looking to the stove and adding, "eggs smell good, too."

"Oh, let me get you some", Scott said, stealing his attention away from Carlos, scooping scrambled eggs out of the pan.

Sitting at the counter, across from Carlos, Alex had a birdseye view of the barechested eighteen year old, patch of dark hair midchest, wisps around each nip and the beginnings of a thin, defined trail down his abs, the rest obscured by the counter ledge.

"And what are your plans for today, Scott?"

"My plans... my plans," Scott said, in a worried fashion. After pausing, he announced, "My plans are going to be to figure out which direction I'm headed in."

Carlos interjects, "Aren't you and Kyle going back to the cooking school today?"

"I've thought about it," Scott replies, Alex and Carlos giving him their undivided attention, "and I don't think I'm going to register."

Doing a quarter turn on his stool, Carlos' jaw drops open, finally reacting, "You're not going back home are you?"

"If things don't work out. If Kyle will have me, I'll stay here. Find a job. Work for a year or so and save some money. Maybe in a year or so I'll save up enough to attend school."

"That's strange," Alex states.

"What is?" Carlos asks.

"Well, by the way Kyle talked, I thought you two had this all worked out, where he is going to loan you the money to get you started."

"But what happens if I can't pay him back?" Scott sulks.

Carlos offers, "I can help you?"

Before Scott can dive back into the conversation, Alex says, "Listen, I don't know if Kyle has mentioned it, but he's got lots of money. If I chose to, I could attend school and not worry about where to get my expenses from. But I've got my pride. I want to pay my own way. Tuition has just about wiped out my savings, but I got a job. Sure, I know Kyle is there to fall back on, but I'm hoping that doesn't come about. There's no reason why you can't do the same; get a job while you're attending school?"

"Same with me," Carlos submits. "Going to Manhattan School of Music is expensive. Fortunately my father has saved over the years, but it's not going to stop me from earning a day's dollar. Plus, remember you have a job waiting for you too?" Carlos meant his father's store.

By this time, Carlos held Scott's hand, rubbing it with his free one, trying to convince him things don't have to be as hopeless as they seem.

The clincher came when Carlos says, "Besides, you and I have something good going here. You can't up and leave me.... us, in the middle of it."

Sweetly, Carlos stretched Scott's hand to his lips and kissed it.

Unknowing to any of them, it was the only thread holding Scott from returning home to Pennsylvania. That is, until his gaze with Carlos' eyes forced the issue, him saying, "I... I suppose I could work to pay him back. It might take awhile."

Seeing a tender moment unfolding, as Scott's eyes stayed glued on Carlos, Alex swiped his mouth with the napkin and said, "Sorry. I'd like to sit here and chat some more, but I've gotta get going."

As Alex left the kitchen, he bumped right into Kyle. "I thought you were staying in bed?"

"Nah," Kyle replied, yawning, then changing direction to follow Alex to the front door. "Oh, you want me to drive you?"

Alex smiled, gazing at Kyle from head to shins, at the barechest and boxers, commenting, "Like that?"

"I can run and get dressed quickly?"

"That's okay. I can take the subway."

"Are you sure you know what you're doing, Alex?"

From his pocket he retrieved a folded up square, replying, "Got my map."

"What about your metrocard?"

"I think I've got the hang of it, thanks."

So all remaining was for the two to embrace, seeing Alex off into the myriad of the big city.

Not one to wait til the last minute, even though he had the whole summer ahead of him, Kyle did the shower and shave thing, dressing in a pair of Nike shorts, matching tank top and barefooted down the stairs. As with a zillion times before, he complained about the circular staircase, the wrought iron cold and uncomfortable on the soles of his feet. `Someday I'm going to toss that thing,' he said softly, talking to himself, as he balanced on one foot, looking at the design of one of the steps, imprinted on the bottom of his foot.

"Who are you talking to?"

"Oh shit!" Kyle called out, tumbling from his perch, falling on his ass.

"You're not hurt are you? I didn't mean to sneak up on you like that, Kyle," Raj Radhakrishnan replied, with a tone of apology.

"No problem. Forget it," Kyle replied, a hand reaching up from the floor, Raj helping the teen up.

Yawning, Raj put his hands behind his head, showing off his dark, hairy pits. "I slept good. I smelled the coffee and thought there might also be some eggs or something I could grab a bite of?"

Before leading Raj into the kitchen, he gave the mideastern teen a quick synopsis of the situation. Smiling, Kyle led Raj to the kitchen, with the words, "But act surprised, if Scott tells you anything?"

"Where'd Carlos go?" Kyle inquires of Scott.

"His dad called, says he's sick . So, Carlos needs to open up the store," Scott replied, clearing the table and putting dishes in the sink, stealing some glances to the cocoa-skinned, half-bare guy thought to be around his age.

Thinking he's out of a meal, Raj asks, "What time is lunch?"

"Um, where's your manners Raj?" Kyle asks, nodding towards Scott.

"Oh yeah. I was just about to introduce myself!"

Kyle smiled when Scott offered a handshake, receiving a warm hug from Raj!

Smiling, overriding the introductions, Kyle informs Raj, "Um, it's only eight-thirty in the morning. I think we're still in the morning portion of the day?"

Scott right away offers, "I've fired up another pot of coffee. It should be done perking right about now."

"Perking?" Kyle asks, staring at the metal pot on the stove, coffee pulsing into the little glass part, disappearing, repeating over and over. "Where did you find this antique?"

"It was in one of the cabinets under the kitchen island. I don't know where you got them, but there are a lot of old, useful gadgets under there you can't find in the store anymore," Scott tells him.

"Sure smells good," Raj voiced a hint.

Smiling his killer smile, Scott says, "I think it's finished."

Not only did Scott prepare a cup of java for Raj, but also set a cup on the countertop, filling it for Kyle, then serving it up to the two.

First they both sniff at the steaming mist, then sip.

"Wow!" Raj said, of the strong, tangy flavor.

Kyle pretty much said the same, adding, "Hot!" After the two downed another two sips, Kyle questions, "What about yourself, Scott?"

"Me? I... I was thinking of giving it up," he replied, cheerfully.

From the start, Kyle knew he was being conned. "Well, until you do, get yourself a cup and dump some coffee into it!"

Standing right there, he watched as Scott filled his cup halfway. "You know you're pathetic?" Kyle said, more in a joking manner, walking over to the stove, picking up the pot and filling Scott's mug to a quarter inch of the brim.

Then the truth came out, as Scott said, "I feel funny eating and drinking food I can't pay for."

Knowing this a good time to butt out, Raj informs them, "I need to get ready," though he didn't specify details.

"Y'know Scott, when I invited you to stay, giving you a roof over your head, a bed to sleep in, my generosity didn't stop there," Kyle told him.

"I figured, but...."

"Look at you. You're as skinny as a rail." Then, continuing the interrogation, "What did you have to eat today?"

Not lying, Scott confesses, "I checked the eggs for seasoning."

Kyle asks, "What a forkful?"

With an indirect answer, Scott tells, "Carlos couldn't finish his eggs, so I finished them for him."

"So, he had one forkful of eggs left on his plate and you ate it?"

"Actually, there was two, but I had some toast with it."

Rolling up his eyes into his head, shaking it back and forth, Kyle addresses the eighteen year old, "Was it bigger than a crumb?"

"Enough to have something to chew."

"Come here," Kyle more commanded, calling Scott over to him, "park your ass here."

Scott sat on the warmed up stool.

"You'll faint dead away in this heat, when we go shopping."

"Shopping?" Scott asks. "You mean you and me?"

"You and I," Kyle replies, not meant to criticise, more to draw a point to Scott's question.

"I noticed the size of the bag you brought in," Kyle inquires picturing the brown paper bag Scott carried under his arm at registration.

"I don't own a suitcase," Scott replies, seemingly embarrassed to mention it, same time evading the quizzing.

"If I'm not being too nosy, what was in it?"

Instead of naming every article, Scott makes excuses for why he didn't have more than three days worth of clothing. "It's no big deal to wash my briefs and socks out everyday. In two days time they are dried. I can wear pants and a shirt for a longer period of time, as long as I shower."

Kyle pictured in his mind, as Scott filled him in on his limited wardrobe, remembering the pants and shirt Scott arrived in as being the same ones he wore to the bar last night. The idea came to him, "Well, if you intend on getting `any' kind of job, you will need to have a fresh pair of clothing everyday."

Still with dollar signs on his mind, Scott rendered, "That sounds all right and proper, but remember I'm the one who can't even shell out money for tuition? Besides, I'm going to be working in a foodmarket, not the Waldorf!"

"You're not working at Guerra's market."

"Sure I am. Carlos even said it would be no problem finding me a job there," Scott replies, more upbeat on the subject of finding something to turn over some assets instantly.

"Right," Kyle replies, thinking up a new angle towards finding a more prestigious form of employment whereas he could earn more dollars and put his talents out there in the limelight. "I've got it. Get dressed."

Smiling, Scott replies, "Um, I `am' dressed."

Viewing the ensemble of jeans, long sleeve blue shirt and dirty sneakers, Kyle strongly suggests, "Uh, why don't we take a look at what's in my closet. I'm sure we can find something that fits you?"

Kyle got it in both ears, Scott's protests, totally ignoring every word!
