Gay

This is the first story I've ever written, I wrote it over the summer of last year and my writing skills have grown immensely. Although this is my first story I've wrote, I have published other stories on here and am currently working on one. Under the high school section, I have the One or the Other, which is a current project; Hayden's Story; and GAvin's Got Game. Under the college section, I have The After Party. The latter three stories all contain sexual content.

It was now the beginning of February. Amy, me, and our newest sister, Jennifer Washington, are on our way to school. That's right. My parents adopted Jen. After I was able to get Jen to my house and explain what was going on while Jen was sobbing, they left. They didn't say one word. When they came back they had smiles on their faces. My mom then asked her how she would feel to become a Washington. Jen cried again. But this time they were tears of joy. It didn't take too long for Jen to become a Washington since her parents didn't want her anymore.

Tyler was still dating Jen. They act as if they've been married for a forever. Tyler always asked how the baby is doing, a question everyone else strays away from, and she always tells him the truth. It's sweet to see him when he's around Jen now. He's mature and sweet and loving. Around just us guys he's energetic, childish, and smart-alecky. It was cute to see him like this.

Everyone at school knew that Jen was pregnant now. Her cheerleading coach had a talk with her and Jen will now be the Assistant Coach for the rest of the year. Jen was okay with that but really missed cheering.

We arrived at school and I really wasn't ready to face the world of drama again. So many things have happened here. Jen was the center of attention and since I was always with her, the fact that me, Amy, Jay, Tommy, Noah, and Avery were all openly gay was huge too. I've been insulted now more than ever. But none of us mention this to Jen. It would be wrong to make it look like it was all her fault. And even the littlest of things can cause her to cry.

"What is everyone doing for prom?" I asked as the 8 of us, Avery, Drew, Amy, and Ginger weren't there.

"I wish Jen and I could go.", Tye said wrapping his arm around her shoulder. "But we're too young to go. Too bad no couple could take us and we could trade off dates."

"Sorry but I'm taking Tommy." Jay said.

"I'm taking Layla." Blake said.

"I'm not going because last year I heard it was all shit. They only good thing was Amy beating the fuck out of Ciara." Everyone laughed because after all the time we have spent together, this was our favorite story to tell.

"Who else is going to prom?" Jay asked.

"Amy is going with a friend of hers from GSA and Ginger actually has a boyfriend so she'll be going too." I said.

"So it's me, you, Jen, Noah, and Drew." Tyler said.

"I guess so. But I think Drew will end up going with a football friend so they can try to steal someone's date."

Jen laughed. "Even though Drew is a football player, he doesn't chase after pussy like the rest."

"So that means Tyler and I should join the football team?" Blake said. That was the wrong thing because Jen and Layla both slapped their boyfriend. Tyler started to complain that he didn't say anything but Jen shut him up with a kiss. Those two always had their lips on each other.

The bell soon rang and Jen, Tyler, and I were off to Mr. Sizemore's English class. Whoever said Mr. Sizemore was a fun teacher, Jay, needs some sense knocked into them. We have to be quiet the whole damn class period! Does he think we're mimes or something?! We're hormonal teenagers with hormonal mouths! The shit we say is important to us so shut up and let me talk! If I had the guts to say that I would end up were Mikey Hayward ended up when he said it. Detention.

So I kept my mouth shut and sat next to Tyler, there's a boys' half and a girls' half of the room. It's really stupid. Another thing that is really stupid in the class is Tyler. He copies everything I do on every test. I once filled out the test completely wrong and came back after class to completely redo it because I wasn't "feeling well" when I was taking the test. I scored a 97% on the test while Tyler received a 6%.

Thankfully his class ended before I knew it. But he assigned us a paper to write anonymously. I knew exactly what I was going to write and I knew what the reaction would be too.

Jen grabbed me by the arm, gave Tyler a farewell kiss, and dragged me to 2nd period. She kept going on about this bitch she had to sit beside today. I even admitted she's a bitch and I barely know her.

Now Mrs. K, we call her Mrs. K but she's actually Mrs. Kennedy, is the bomb. I've always hated math but she makes it fun. Tommy struggles with math and so does Jen. So I help them through the class and they help me in other classes. Tommy helped me in Law and Justice and Jen helped me in Science since I stared at Mr. Reed all day. If I was a few years older I would so totally date him.

I didn't pay attention in 3rd period because all Noah did was talk to me. Every time I would tell him to shut up he would have this sad look on his face. I would sigh and tell him to continue on. He would smile that smile I loved to see on him and keep going. Mr. Wright never paid attention to the kids, only to the board. So it was okay for us to not pay attention, the only bad thing was that it showed in our grades.

Soon lunch had finally arrived. I seriously couldn't wait to sit down and dig into to some of the school's best tasting shit! Since this is prom week, they go all out with lunch and actually cook half the food and not shove a box of shit in the oven and defrost it. I sat down between Tommy and Jen when I got to the table. The main thing we talked about was what we were going to do about the few of us who weren't going to prom. We had learned that Drew wasn't going to prom but wasn't able to come to the little get together of the young and the lonely. He had to work.

Sadly Noah had a different lunch so Tye, Jen and I, mostly Jen, thought of what we were going to do. We decided to have a little party at my place. My mom was going to be home though so Tye and Jen couldn't make out and Tye would have to watch his language. Dad was going to be working late that night, this wasn't too shocking since it's almost been like for every Friday night this last year.

Mom was cool though, she knew what insiders were, she knew what was funny and what was lame, and best of all she knew some embarrassing things about all of us except Noah, Avery, Blake, Layla, and Drew. Since she was close with Tyler's mom that was 3 people in the group of the 7 left; she's mine, Amy's, and now Jen's mom so that's a total of 6 out of 7; and she has known Jay since Amy started dating DJ so he's the 7th unlucky person in the group.

"So what's it like to live in the Washington house? I know his parents are awesome but his mom is from a different world." Tyler said laughing.

"I'm so use to them and around them that when I moved in it finally felt I was at home. I know Mr. and Mrs. Washington aren't my parents," she hasn't called them mom or dad yet, "but they act more like them then mine did."

"I don't know if I could handle two gay kids." Layla said. Half the group looked at her since about half of us were gay or at least bi. "I want grandbabies! I would be an epic grandma!"

"I can see you know, Layla. Spandex pants, leather jackets, your gray hair up in pig tails...did I mention you're fat?" Layla nearly jumped across the table to attack Tyler. Jen even grabbed him and tried to sacrifice him. After Layla as finally calm we were all laughing because, knowing Blake, he said he could see that too. She smacked him and he said he would love her no matter how big she was. They kissed each other and we were all of to 4th period.

After school was done, Noah and I were walking to my house. Jen and Amy are at cheer practice, my parents want Amy to stay with Jen in case there's an accident, Ginger had no room in her car because she drove her boyfriend home too, and Jay is out buying stuff for prom and whatever. So it was either the bus or walking.

"Shawn, do you like me?" Noah asked as we were walking.

"Why do you ask?"

"Because. It's just going to be me, you, Jen, and Tyler at your house this Friday." I told him about the plan. "And we both know Jen and Tyler will be excluding us from most of their fun. I don't want to be alone."

I looked over at him and saw a tear in his eye. "What do you mean by alone?"

"I've never had a boyfriend. I've never really even had a friend. Yeah I did move here because my dad is getting remarried, but that's just a cover up mostly. He despises the fact I'm gay. He only knew that keeping me would upset my mom. When I lived with him he never said I love you. Every time I did wrong he insulted me.

It got to a point where I excluded myself from everything. I barely went to school because I was afraid of what would happen. When I moved her, of course my mom and bro had open arms, but they didn't accept me straight off. I was almost a stranger to them because I haven't seen them since I was about 2. The first person who really bonded to me and made me feel special as you. I'm not sure if you can tell but I really like you Shawn. You're just...amazing. I was thinking about running away before I met you. But now I'm more open because of you and my mom and bro are there for me now and it's as if I've always been there."

We walked in silence for a bit. I occasionally heard him sniffle or seen him wipe away a tear. We were about a block away when I asked myself `what the hell could happen?' in my head and reached out my hand. I grabbed his and he smiled at me. I was hoping this relationship would go slower so we could get to know each other a little bit more. I guess I'm now on stage Noawn.

~ IMPORTANT ~

There are two chapters that were written by a friend of mine and I will tell you if when the chapter is written by her. Please DO NOT contact me and tell me how different those chapters are from the rest of the story and they are written completely differently. If you do I will most likely insult you. :D
