Supernatural: Outer Beings

A motorcycle screeched to a stop in front of a field. The black and gold ducati came to a complete stop. The biker hopped off, switching the bike off and moving to the field, looking out onto it. In the middle of the field was a demon, waiting for the biker. The biker, wearing a black and yellow leather coat with a pair of jeans and a pair of matching black and yellow sneakers, pulled off his helmet, revealing himself to be Chalis Gordon.

Chapter 32: Devil's Due

"So, he's gone...any idea where he went?" Martin asked.

"No." John said, loading his gun, "But I'm hopin' he didn't go too far."

"I may not be a genius, but I know you mean more than distance when you say that." Martin said, "You don't think he..."

"Anything's possible." John said, "Sam and Dean said that a contact of theirs clocked him in the back country."

"What would he be doing in the back country? And what is the back country?"

John stopped to look at him, "I'm not sure. I haven't really been sure where his head is lately." He said.

"So, why'd you bring me?" Martin asked.

"You're a demonologist." John said quickly.

"But you didn't want to bring me." Martin said, "Which is fine..."

"I'm the one who blasts stuff." John said, "Chalis is the magic guy, but we don't know what we're doing."

"So, I'm the brains?" Martin asked.

"We've had some scraps, some we almost didn't survive, and I think we need new blood." John explained.

"Does that mean I'm going to have to die?" Martin asked.

"No." John said seriously, "That's for premium members." He said smiled.

"Is this the first time he's ran away?" Martin asked.

"No." John said, "He's just been really erratic lately."

"I've noticed. You think it's the power?" Martin asked.

"I don't know!" John said, "You ready?"

"Got the scam all set." Martin said, flashing his shiny badge.

John smiled, and then knocked on the door. A woman came to the door, she was a beautiful woman, but she looked very distraught, "Hello, ma'am, I'm detective Mercer and this is detective..."

"Tom Cruise." Martin said absent-mindedly.

"Cruise." John smiled, despite being terribly annoyed, "We understand you feel like you've been burgled/"

"I gave my statement." She said, trying to close the door.

John put his hand in the door, "We understand that it was about your mind." He said.

She looked at him, then re-opened the door, "Come in." she said.

-

It had been a week or two since I had separated from the guys. Both sets. I had driven on the motorcycle for days. I couldn't process what Castiel had said. How can I fall to the dark side, even knowing that I am? It boggled my mind. I had to get away from them, if I was going to turn into Darth Vader, I wanted to be as far away from my friends as possible. All of my past "Scaredy run-aways" have been because of fear or sadness, this one was...the same.

"Looking for me?" A voice said, coming from a few steps ahead.

I made my way to the voice, in the middle of the field and found myself in a big crop circle. In the middle of the crop circle, a brunette man stood. He was sexy and appealing and I knew immediately what he was.

"I guess you are." He smiled.

"Are you a crossroad demon?" I asked.

"Did you put a box in the ground?" He asked.

I shook my head and reached down into my holsters and pulling both my semi-automatic pistols out and pointing them at him, "I need my questions answered." I said quickly.

"Do you really expect me to believe you won't kill me if I give you the answer." The demon asked.

"Do you really expect me to let you live?" I asked.

"I'm harmless." The demon smiled.

"I'm not." I said seriously.

"Those can't kill me." The demon said.

I smiled, "I'm not a newbie. I know these can kill you." I said, "And with all the holy water, it'll hurt."

"You'll kill this guy." He said.

I smiled, "Maybe he deserves it." I said.

"I know who you are. I know why you haven't already killed me." The demon said.

"Doesn't mean I can't hurt you." I smiled, holstering my guns.

"You're just a human. How can you hurt me?" the demon asked.

I lowered my head, chanting, and then I looked up again, "Easily." I smirked.

"They think I'm crazy." Porschia explained, "But I noticed all these crazy things happening to me. There was this guy, he came and saved me."

"This guy...can you describe him?" John asked.

"Black...well, brown, but you know what I mean. And he was...I could tell that there was something off about him, but in a good way." She explained, "He was funny. He actually made me laugh."

"What did he do?" Martin asked.

"I thought he was an angel." Porschia said, thinking back, "His power...he killed the bad man."

"With his power?" John asked.

"No." she said, "He was like Buffy..."

"Buffy?" Martin asked, "You sure not more like Willow?"

"No." she said, "Buffy."

A cold wind blew through the cornfield. The wind had come just in time to see the fight that was about to occur. Chalis holstered his gun as the demon disappeared. Chalis looked around and before he could move, the demon grabbed him from behind and threw him across the clearing! Chalis landed with a thud.

"And some demons are scared of you." The demon said.

Chalis picked himself up off the ground and stared at the demon, "I'm going to kick every inch of your ass." He said intensely.

The demon smirked and walked over to Chalis and grabbed him by the neck. The demon stopped when he noticed Chalis' eyes turn black, "I can do that too." The demon said, causing his eyes to turn black.

Chalis' eyes sparkled a bit.

"Can't do that." The demon said.

Chalis smiled, "Didn't think so." He said, chopping the demon in the throat! Chalis landed on his feet.

"What do you want from me?" the demon asked.

"I just want to hear you scream." Chalis smirked, kicking the demon backwards.

"How can a human..."

"Magic." Chalis smiled, "Now, where's Lilith?"

The demon looked as if he didn't know what Chalis was talking about and Chalis grabbed the demon's arm and wrenched it. The demon laughed, "I can leave."

"Try." Chalis said.

The demon put the pain aside and looked to be concentrating.

Chalis bent down and whispered, "Magic." He smiled.

"I don't know where Lilith is, she's probably still..." the demon stopped.

"Continue." Chalis said darkly.

"Trying to bring Lucifer to Earth." The demon said.

Chalis let the demon go and just stared at him for a second. Chalis felt his legs almost give out, but his resolve came quickly, "This is bad." He said.

"Depends on how you look at it." The demon said.

"What are you doing here?" Ruby asked.

Chalis turned his attention to Ruby, letting go of the demon, "Ruby, what the Hell are you doing here?" he asked.

"Well, hello to you too." Ruby smirked, "Demon's gone."

Chalis looked back at where the demon had been, but the demon was gone, "Dammit, Ruby!" he swore, causing Ruby to levitate in the air.

"Hey!" Ruby said, flailing around in the air.

"You left Sam and Dean?" Chalis asked.

"You left Martin and John." Ruby spat.

"Touché."

"Dean tried to kill me." Ruby said.

"You were teaching Dean to do bad things." he said, "It wasn't part of the plan."

"We all have our own plans." Ruby said.

"Remember one thing, I will kill you. To me, you're just another demon." Chalis said angrily

"I'm not, or you would have killed me a long time ago." Ruby said.

"Wrong is wrong." Chalis said.

"Then what are you doing? God's work?" Ruby asked, "You love them."

"I never said I didn't."

"You would die for them." Ruby said, "Just because some angel told you that you're going to become an evil bastard, doesn't mean you will."

"I want to." Chalis said, "I saw Sam and I saw Dean and all I felt was anger."

"Makes you human."

"Maybe I'm done being human." Chalis said, heading for his bike.

"Where are you going?" Ruby asked.

"I don't know. Away from all of them." Chalis said.

"You know Sam and Dean'll be looking for you now, too." Ruby said.

Chalis put on his helmet, "Every time I'm near untouchable, they find me. They can't find me, not this time." He said, hopping on his bike and speeding off into the darkness.
