Supernatural: Outer Beings

"The prisoner, he talking yet?" Officer Barker asked. Barker was a man in his late 40's, graying hair but was a little overweight. He was a very far out cop and he had caught the `Freak' rep for believing and other forces.

"No." Officer Barnaby said, smiling sarcastically. Barnaby was a man in his 30's, fit with chocolate skin and he favored Idris Elba. He was one of the cops that always knew that Barker was off his rocker.

"Maybe I should go in and talk to him." Barker said.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Barnaby said, "The chief, he doesn't want this one to get away."

"I think I'll chance it." Barker said, ignoring Barnaby and going in. He stood across the table from the perp, "Those boys, you know where they are." He said, tilting the light to bring Chalis' face into view.

"Hello, lover." Chalis smiled.

Chapter 35: The Girl

Barker just stared across the table, trying to figure out what to make of him. He seemed so calm and collected. How could he be? After all his friends had done, how could he protect them?

"It's Monday, I should be out there." I said, "I should be out there."

Barker looked up from the papers, "What's Monday got to do with it?" he asked.

"Nothing." I sighed.

"Where are they?" he asked.

"They?" I asked.

"The Winchesters." Barker said, "Dean and Sam."

I smirked, "Sorry. Haven't seen them in...ages." I said.

Barker slammed his hand down on the table, "Dammit! These boys are killing people, in the sickest ways possible. They've escaped from jail more than once. It's only a matter of time before they kill again."

I sighed and leaned forward in my chair, "Poor guy. Tightly wound." I frowned, "They're not who you think they are."

"Or maybe they're not who you think they are." Barker said.

"You can't keep me here." I said, looking around, "I could have left by now...but this place is oddly fascinating."

"You could have left?" Barker chortled, "How do you figure?"

I looked around in mock paranoia, "I haven't met a prison yet that can hold me." I smirked.

"You seem pretty sure about this." Barker said.

I leaned back in my chair, "It's an act." I said.

"Is it really just an act?" Barker asked, "I didn't notice."

"They say you're the supernatural guy." I said, "I mean, you're into all the oogety boogety. Wanna know a secret?"

Barker leaned in, "What?" he asked.

I levitated the papers into my hand, to which he stood from his chair and stumbled back against the wall. I started reading the papers out loud, "And they say people don't keep permanent records." I smirked, reading through.

"How did you..." Barker said, looking around, "This is a joke, how'd you do it?"

I sighed, "You're supposed to be the believer here." I said, "So believe already."

Barker cocked his head to the side and looked as if he was about to say something.

"The Winchesters, they are not bad people. Despite me being really pissed at one of them, I really think they might help save the world." I said quickly, "Then there's the demons..."

"Demons?" Barker asked.

"Don't ask." I said, "It'll only hurt your head."

"What do you want me to do?" Barker asked.

"I want you to let me go, but I'm thinking I can't just walk out of here...So, get going on the paper work." I said.

"I can't." Barker said, getting up and walking out.

"He can't, his job depends on it." Castiel's voice said.

I sighed, rolled my eyes, and looked backwards, over my shoulder, "Hey, look, it's the angel...s?" I said, noticing the other one.

"Mortal scum." The other one said.

"Who's the square?" I asked.

"Why didn't you just use your powers on him?" Castiel asked.

I shrugged, "He seemed nice enough. It could cost him his job, besides, I've got nowhere pressing to be." I said.

Castiel looked at me blankly.

"That and I just didn't wanna. I mean, it's not cause I would feel sorry, cause, I wouldn't." I said, "Seriously."

"How foolishly mortal." The other angel said.

"He's a lot of fun." I said.

"I'm not here to have fun." He said.

I turned to Castiel, "Does the fun machine have a name?" I asked.

"Uriel." Uriel said.

"Castiel. Uriel. Darn, left my cool angelic name at home." I chuckled, "I'm relying less on my powers, isn't that what you wanted?"

"It does not matter, you will still fall to the dark side." Castiel said.

I looked at him oddly, "You know, you pop in and go all cryptic and expect me to, what, die?" I asked.

"Would be a change." Uriel said.

Castiel looked at him, "You know we need him." He said.

"Even though I fall to the dark side?" I asked.

"Because you fall to the dark side." Castiel said, "All shall be revealed in due time..."

"What do I do about getting the Hell out of here?" I asked.

Castiel and Uriel winced at the word Hell.

"Sorry." I said.

"Are you sure we need him?" Uriel asked.

"I'm sure it won't be as hard." Castiel said, "We have to go."

With that, there was a crash of lightning and they were gone.

"Talking to yourself?" Barker asked.

I turned to him, "Angels." I said, "I don't know anything."

"We have to let you go, there's no evidence." Barker said.

"Thank you." I said, "Really, thank you."

"No problem." Barker said.

-

As I walked out of the station, a car pulled up. A very mature man looked out the window and waved for me to get in.

"Sorry, I don't get in cars with strangers. It never quite pans out the way I want it to." I frowned, lost in thought.

"You should really get in the car." He said, his eyes going black.

"Now I'm definitely not getting in, Sparky." I said with a raised eyebrow.

"Name's Alastair." He smiled.

"That name supposed to mean something?" I asked.

"Me and your friend Dean were very close in Hell." I stopped when he said this, "Seemed scared a few days ago when I saw him and Sam. Even that little bitch, Ruby."

I just stared at him.

"I need your help finding them." Alastair said, "They have something I want."

"Sorry, but I have no idea where they are." I said quickly.

Alastair opened the door and stopped the car, "Get in." he said.

I hesitated, knowing that this was a really bad idea, but I did anyways. Once I got in the car, I immediately knew this was the wrong choice!

"I need you to find them." Alastair said.

"I don't even know where to start." I frowned, "What do they have of yours?"

"A girl." Alastair said.

I looked at him oddly, "This is over a girl? I guess it always is." I said.

"Not for some people, I see." Alastair smirked.

"What's with this girl? She got the gateways to Hell in her vagina?" I asked.

Alastair was silent.

I sucked at my teeth, "Wait, you must not be very strong, getting taken out by the little Winchesters..." I joked.

Alastair grabbed my throat, causing me to gasp for air, "Anybody ever tell you that that mouth's going to get you in trouble?" Alastair asked.

"They say a lot of things." I choked.

Alastair smiled, "Pity, you could be so much more powerful if you let go of being mortal." He said.

"Like...Like...Ruby?" I choked.

"No." Alastair said, coming to a stop, and then reaching into his coat pocket and pulling Ruby's dagger from his jacket. He immediately plunged the dagger into my gut and threw me from the car!

-

"Thanks doctor." John's voice came from the darkness.

I tried to move, couldn't. I tried to talk, couldn't. I tried to open my eyes, they fluttered. When they finally opened, I was in a hospital room, light everywhere.

"He's awake." Martin said.

John walked over to me, inspecting me, "Don't talk or, you know, move." He said, "You're pretty sedated."

I blinked.

"Oh yeah! Blink once for yes, twice for no, three times for..." Martin said excitedly.

"Just one or two." John said, rolling his eyes.

I blinked.

"Did a demon do this?" John asked.

I blinked.

"He still out there?" John asked.

I blinked.

"He watching us?" John asked.

I blinked twice.

John let out a relief sigh, "Good. We need to get out of here." He said.

I blinked.

"So where ya been?" Martin asked.

John and I looked at him.

"Oh, right." Martin said, "Well...what do we do now?"

"I have no idea." John said.
