Supernatural: Outer Beings

"Sammy, we don't have time for this." Dean said.

The two guys were standing in the middle of a packed club. There was loud music and gyrating guys.

"I'm in gay clubs way too much." Dean frowned.

Sam looked around, "You and me both." He said uncomfortably.

"But..."

"I love him. Only him. Only guy. Period." Sam said, "I'm really not attracted to other guys."

"Do you think it's sorta like...the god thing?" Dean asked.

Sam shrugged. The boys looked around at the vibrating club. When Sam finally saw someone, he motioned to Dean. Dean and Sam rushed to the middle of the floor and grabbed the guy, pulling him out the back of the club.

"How dare you put your filthy..." Chalis said before stopping, "Ashes. Covered in ashes." He said to Sam.

Dean and Sam looked to each other.

"Sam, Dean." He asked, not sounding like Castiel had described. He sounded like himself.

Chapter 50: Castiel's Way

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"He's working with Crowley." Sam said.

"And you remember everything?" I asked.

"Not a lot." Sam said.

"What were you doing in the gay club?" Dean asked, "Besides the obvious?"

"I don't remember." I frowned, "I remember...talking to Castiel. This has to be...it can't be right."

"You mean about the other you or Castiel?" Dean asked.

"Does it have to be either or?" I asked.

"Are you okay?" Sam asked.

I looked to him and nodded.

"Who would have thought a god could be shaken." Dean smiled weakly.

"Dean." Sam warned.

"I have to talk to Castiel." I said angrily.

"What," Dean smirked, "You don't believe us?"

I chuckled nervously, "This just can't be right." I frowned.

Sam and Dean exchanged looks.

"What?" I asked.

"Have you ever considered that Cas might have sent you to...wherever you were." Sam said slowly.

I looked at him angrily, "I can't...believe...He wouldn't." I frowned.

"He's pretty capable of anything." Dean said angrily.

"Screw both of you." I said, standing and walking out of the door.

"Sam..."

"I don't want to hear it, Dean." Sam said sadly.

-

I walked into the apartment where Castiel had taken me before. The writings and stuff were still there. I looked around, wondering if Cas ever came back here. All the things they were saying about Castiel...couldn't be true. Crowley was still alive and...Cas couldn't...I hadn't been around much lately. I missed so much. I didn't remember much of anything. I didn't even know how I remembered me. How I had gotten back here.

"Cas, I know you're here." I frowned, "Tell me that what they're saying isn't true."

There was silence.

"Cas..."

"I'm sorry." Castiel said.

I turned to see him.

"I'm glad you are back." Castiel said quickly.

I smiled and hugged him, "You have no idea what I've been through." I chuckled.

"I can't imagine."

"And Sam and Dean...they keep saying things..." I said, looking him in the face.

Castiel avoided eye contact.

"Castiel. Please tell me that this isn't true." I said.

"I'm not quite the moral compass I had been." Castiel said, "I've done things..."

"What about God." I said.

"He abandoned us." Castiel frowned.

My heart sank.

"I was worried for you." Castiel said.

I turned from him, "They were right." I frowned.

"To defeat Raphael..."

"I don't want to hear that!" I shouted, turning to him, "Is it really worth everything you're losing?"

Castiel had a guilty look on his face.

"Everything you could have had." I said.

"You mean you?" Castiel asked.

"I'm not the greatest god out there, but, Cas, I love you." I said.

Castiel stared at me.

"I don't expect you to reciprocate these feelings, but you are betraying everything you taught me." I said angrily. I was starting to tear up.

Castiel walked over and brushed away the tear, "To save everything I believe in, I must make certain sacrifices." He said.

"I cannot let you do this." I said.

Castiel touched my face, "I have to do what's right for my family." He said.

"What about your friends? What about me?" I asked.

Castiel stared at me for a split second before pushing his lips against mine. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, not only from him but from myself. I hadn't even said these things to myself.

Castiel pulled away, "I'm sure that is forbidden." He said.

"You're already breaking all the other rules." I said, "What's one more."

"Touching."

I turned to see Crowley and I literally cringed.

"What are you doing here?" Castiel asked.

"I couldn't miss this. An angel falling for a god. In a very gay relationship." Crowley said, "Very wholesome of you."

"Leave." I said angrily.

"I'd rather stay and watch." Crowley smirked.

"Please leave." Castiel said.

"Since you asked nicely." He smirked, disappearing.

"You really are working with him." I said into space.

Castiel put his hand on my shoulder but I recoiled.

"I am sorry. I was hoping that you would be with me." Castiel said.

"Don't you dare question my loyalty!" I said loudly.

"I wasn't." Castiel said quickly, "Nor do I question your love for me."

I turned to him, tears running down my face.

"I'm sorry that I couldn't be who I wanted you to be." Castiel said, "But I must win."

I nodded. Castiel walked over and kissed my forehead before, disappearing again. I wiped the last tear from my eye and headed for the door.

-

Reid Camden walked over to his refrigerator and grabbed two beers. He walked over and sat down next Rose, who took one of the beers and began chugging it. She only paused to talk. Nattie poked her head from behind the book she was reading.

"He actually came. He came, he saw, he killed." Rose said, sipping some more beer, "It wasn't what I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, he's as strong, but...he killed Toby."

"Toby was a backstabbing prick." Reid said.

"He was my daughter's future husband. Call him what you want, but my daughter loved him. And his poor parents..."

"It's not like him." Nattie said, "It's out of character."

"Maybe it's the end of the world." Reid frowned, "Maybe he's..."

"Don't say that." Nattie said, "I know this guy and he's not...that."

"Yeah, cause that wouldn't kill." Rose said.

"We did things to bring him back...now we don't know where he is." Reid said, taking a sip.

There was a flash of lightning and Chalis appeared before them. The jumped noticeably, Reid and Rose cursing. Chalis stood before them, more or less what he used to be. He had felt so many emotions in one day than he had felt in so long.

"I want to know everything." Chalis said calmly.
