Jaiden and I had some time to kill after classes, so I suggested we go over to the counseling center and meet Dr. Bellamy and show her the rings. Luckily, she was free when we walked in the counseling center and Jaiden and I were escorted into her office. Jaiden shook hands with her and told her how nice it was to finally meet her after months of talking over the telephone.

We showed her our rings and she gushed over how beautiful they are. She asked about the wood and the green inlay and Jaiden explained the wood was KOA wood from Hawaii and the green inlay was Azure Opal. He told her that KOA wood has a very rich history that she might want to read about on the Internet.

We spoke briefly about Dale and Charley. I told her that they had really toned their bodies and that we weren't noticing any signs of stress and how their grades had soared since we had started running. Dr. Bellamy said she had some observations that she would like to talk about with Jaiden and I and Jaiden said, "Go for it."

She started by saying she had never seen roommates handle a difficult personality dispute as well as Jaiden and I; she said it was evident that we had been well schooled in manners, empathy and compassion for others and she was very proud of us for the way we took the lead in getting Charley and Dale into counseling and in getting their stress levels down by being honest, up front, and by forging a friendship that has grown daily instead of getting angry and walking out on Charley and Dale.

I said, "Dr. Bellamy, I was raised to love people regardless of their socio-economic status, the color of their skin, their religion, or their obsessions. Jaiden was raised the same way. We simply love people and want them to be the best they can be. We saw a chance to help Charley and Dale and we jumped on it. It wasn't always easy, but the more we befriended them, loved them, and socialized with them the more their relationship bloomed."

"Jaiden and Peyton, Dale told me you two had applied to several medical schools. How is that going?" Jaiden replied, "Well, we applied to probably 10 medical schools and while we were on Spring break, we visited my Mom's medical school in Philadelphia and also the Lake Erie School of Osteopathic Medicine. We fell in love with the LECOM campus and got to talk with administrators and professors." "Peyton you tell Dr. Bellamy the rest of the story."

"Dr. Bellamy, it turns out that the professors and administrators with whom we spoke were `the' formal interview committee. About a month after we spoke to them, we got a letter from President Ferris stating that, based on our conversations with the professors and the administrators, they were so impressed with Jaiden and I that they waived the formal interview process and approved our entry into medical school that day. We are supposed to report to medical school on September 03, 2020."

"Have you and Jaiden advised the President's Office here of that development?" "No mam, we didn't realize we needed to." "Well, I suggest you do that and ask to take the tests necessary to klep your last semester and graduate from Wellstone early. Let me make an appoint with the President's office while you are here." Hello, Martha, this is Aimee Bellamy in the counseling center, does the President have an opening in his schedule to speak to two students I previously wrote to him about. There has been a development in their career path he needs to be aware of." "Aimee, let me check the schedule, hold on for a second. I checked with President Jamison and he said to send them over now and he would like for you to come with them since you had previously written to him about the young men." "Yes, mam, we are on the way." "Jaiden, Peyton, come with me, the president wants to see us now."

We entered the President's office and he was standing in his foyer waiting on us. "Please, come in my office and let's sit down and see what we can work out."

"Jaiden, Peyton, first off, I would like to tell you how proud I am over how you worked with Charley and Dale. Aimee has kept me abreast of everything that has occurred and how you two handled it. There are some things I can't discuss with you, but suffice it to say, you saved their college careers. To try and reward both of you for what you have done during your tenure at Wellstone, I have made arrangements for you to take the klep tests for your remaining semester. Wellstone will absorb the costs of those exams. Can you take them on Saturday at 10 am?" "I looked at Jaiden and he looked at me and we simultaneously told the President we could.

Saturday arrived and Jaiden and I got up early and had a breakfast of coffee and pastries. Research has shown that a little sugar before an exam helps the brain to function more efficiently.

After breakfast we headed over to the President's conference room to take the exams. We completed the exams and were exhausted afterward. The exams were anything and everything except easy. The President's secretary told us to wait, that they were going to computer score the tests. We should have the results in 30 minutes." Needless to say, Jaiden and I had started to sweat.

In 30 minutes, the President walked into the conference room and said," gentlemen, I am extremely proud to tell you that each of you passed the tests with the highest scores ever at Wellstone. Congratulations, you will graduate at the end of this semester!" The President shook our hands and we left his office to go back to our apartment.

Dr. Bellamy met us outside the building and gave Jaiden and I a big hug and said, "Congratulations Jaiden, Peyton, let's go back to my office and do a three-way call to your parents. Jaiden, I have heard how you like to mess with your parent's heads a bit when you have good news to tell them, so we are going to do just that."

"Doctor Reynolds' how may I help you?" "This is Dr. Aimee Bellamy in the Wellstone Counseling Center." I had the speaker phone on and Jaiden was laughing pretty hard." "Dr. Reynolds, can you hold the line for a moment while I get Peyton's parents on the telephone?" "Yes, I surely can." Now both boys are about to bust a gut laughing, stifling themselves but still laughing. "Dr. Riley this is Dr. Aimee Bellamy in the Wellstone Counseling Center, is it possible to also get Mrs. Riley on the line, I have Dr. Reynolds on the phone and I need to talk with the three of you about Jaiden and Peyton." "Yes, she is in the clinic, let me get Phyllis on the line." "Hello, this is Phyllis Riley. Jim said you wished to speak to us about our sons."

"Dr. Reynolds, can you hear Dr. and Mrs. Riley?" "Yes, I can."

"I am calling to inform you that Jaiden and Peyton will not be on the Wellstone campus after the end of this semester?"

All three parents asked "what in the world did our boys do to merit them not being able to be on Campus after the end of the semester?"

"Dr. Reynolds, Dr. and Mrs. Riley, your sons have been into so much at Wellstone that I had to take them to the President's office to discuss all they have done. Quite frankly, the President and I have been so impressed with them, their attendance in all their classes, the fact that they have never missed or been late to any classes, and the fact that they both have a 4.0 GPA, I arranged, with the blessings of the President, for your sons to take klep exams on their remaining courses. The University absorbed the costs of those exams."

"Jaiden and Peyton took those exams this morning and they were computer scored. Both your sons passed each exam with the highest scores ever recorded on a klep test administered at Wellstone."

"I am extremely proud, honored, and overjoyed to be able to tell you that your sons will graduate with honors from the Pre-Med program at the end of this semester. I have checked their grades in their current courses and they are maintaining a 4.0 GPA in each class. Mrs. Riley and Dr. Reynolds, I sincerely hope you have those wedding plans completed!

"One last thing that neither Jaiden nor Peyton know of and are hearing for the first time is that they will be the first co-valedictorians in Wellstone University's history. I am going to step out of my office now so you and your sons can have some privacy to speak with each other." "Dr. Bellamy, thank you very much for calling us with such wonderful news." "You are very welcome. I will step out now."

"Jaiden, when did all this come about?" "Peyton, do you mind if I answer since your parents are also on the line?" "I am perfectly fine with that, go for it."

"Mom, Dr. Bellamy told Charley and Dale that she would like for us to stop by her office and let her see our rings since Dale had told her about them and about Peyton and I being engaged. We stopped by to show her the rings and to thank her for her help with keeping Charley and Dale together and for supporting Jaiden and I in our efforts toward lowering their stress."

"The next thing we knew, she picked up the phone and called the President's office to ask if he had some time to see us. He told her he wanted all three of us to come to his office right then. When we got to his office, he was standing in the foyer waiting on us. He immediately ushered us into his private office, thanked us for our efforts with Charley and Dale and then mentioned us taking the klep exams this morning and the rest is history, literally"

"Boys, I don't know what to say except I am so proud of my two sons, so utterly proud that I can't stop crying." "Peggy, we have to say ditto to everything you have said. I don't know if Phyllis and I can stop crying either. I don't think proud is a strong enough word to explain how Phyllis and I feel right now. Like you, we, too, are extremely proud of our sons."

"Peyton, I want you, Jaiden, Charley, and Dale to go to the finest restaurant in town and eat the best steak they have and anything else the four of you want and let me know the costs and I will pay it on your card!" "Dad, are you serious?" "Very serious, son." "We usually go to Tony's Pizzeria to celebrate." "Ramp it up 10 notches this time. You four can go to Tony's and celebrate again for lunch and that will be on me and your mother as well." "Jim, if you don't mind, I will pay for lunch at Tony's." "Peggy if that is what you want, please do." "Jim, Thank you."

"I have something I have to do, so I need to run. Boys, I am so proud of you. I love you both to the moon and back."

"Peyton, your mom and I love you boys to the moon and back as well." "Mom, Dad, Jaiden and I love you the same."

We walked out of the office and we hugged Dr. Bellamy and told her how much we appreciate all she has done."

Jaiden said, "we have to do something to mess with Charley and Dales' minds before we tell them what has occurred. I am going to act like I am very angry at something they have done and I'd like for you to act mad as well." "You got it love, but we have to stop if they appear to be getting too upset." "Deal."

We walked into the apartment and Jaiden yelled, "Charley, Dale, GET YOUR ASSES IN HERE...NOW!"

Dale and Charley came into the living room and Jaiden said," It's your fault. THE WHOLE DAMNED THING IS YOUR FAULT!"

"Jaiden, Peyton, please tell us what we did so we can try to make it right, PLEASE." "Guys, you can't make this right because it is already too right."

"Jaiden, what do you mean it is already too right?" Sit down on the couch and I will explain what you have caused." Jaiden sat in chairs opposite of the sofa. "Dale, Charley, very simply, you made us look too good with the progress you have made in your relationship and with the meteoric rise in your grades. Peyton and I are begging you to keep up the progress because we are not going to be around Wellstone after the end of this semester."

"What the hell do you mean that you won't back after the end of this semester?" "You told us Dr. Bellamy wanted to see our rings, so we stopped by her office yesterday to show them to her. The next thing we knew, she had us in the President's office and we got a lecture about helping you two to get your relationship back on course and helping get your stress down by getting you to run with us."

"The long and short of the matter is the President had us take klep exams this morning on the courses we had left. Peyton and I passed with flying colors effectively graduating us at the end of this semester. We also were accepted to medical school and we will continue to be together there. We'd like to have you two join us there."

"Damn, talk about unexpected news. We are so going to miss you guys. I think I am going to go somewhere and have a good cry." "We love you too, Dale, and we love Charley as well. We are going to keep in touch every week.

We want know how you two are doing and we also want to get together here or up at Lake Erie. You also can call me and Peyton any time you want to or need to. We will always be there for you. To us, you are our brothers." Charley and Dale were crying their hearts out so Peyton and I just held them and let them get their emotions out."

When Charley and especially Dale calmed down, we went out for a long walk and ended up at Tony's sitting at the table in the nook."

It was dark when we left to walk back to the apartment. When we got back to the apartment, Jaiden told Charley and Dale to go take a warm shower and try to get some sleep.

"We will all go out for that elegant dinner tomorrow night or Monday night if we have to."

Jaiden and I took his own advice and took a warm shower as well. We dried off and got into bed.

Jaiden took my face in his hands and gave me a long, passionate kiss. "Congratulations, love, I am prouder of you than your parents are if that is even possible." "It is, Jaiden, because I have the same feelings for and about you. I love you so much that it sometimes hurts."

Jaiden started kissing me on the neck moving slowly downward until he reached his reward. He took me into ecstasy with the most sensual sex we'd ever had. I kissed him and held him closely until we both fell asleep.
