Obviously, I have taken a long break. I hope that you have remembered the story line. Robert and Lucas have a lot to do in the next months: the trip to Tucson with Thomas and Liam to visit with Ron at his home in Tucson, the trip to Paris to try and meld the Canadian and French ForensicPlus and finally Lucas taking over Jeremy`s role as Boss at The Accountants while he recuperated from the cancer surgery. You might want to read Chapters 17 and 18 again.

After the disastrous first hockey game and pub in their first year of university, they were accepted. Lucas had gained all their admiration for his defensive skills on ice and his great card playing. Everyone was amazed how good Robert was as a forward; his skating and puck handling were the best. Yet another New Years found them on the dance floor with a glass of bubbly, kissing and remembering all the incredible things they had done that year, marriage, the success of Forensic+, the new office and Lucas position as head of the forensic department and about to become Jeremys interim replacement at The Accountants. Yes it had been a great year.
They arrived back at their apartment. It was Lucas who put his arms around Robert after they had taken off boots and outer jackets. "Robbie, it has been quite a year. I can hardly believe what you and I have done this year. You know it was our wedding last Novemeber that really stands out for me. I felt then as if my life was complete. I, we could do almost anything and we did."
Before Robert could talk, Lucas leaned over and pulled Robert close. He put his fingers on Roberts lips and shook his head no. Then he leaned over and kissed him.
Lucas, "I know that you feel the same. No talk, just action, just you and me."
It was intense from the first kiss. For Robert, Lucas had summed it up in a few sentences. Who would have thought that they would be here like this, five years together. He had watched Lucas at the party that evening. He shone. He talked to the guys and to their girlfriends. He had won at cards, as usual. They had danced oblivious to anyone else in the room. Then the wonderful kiss again at 12. It was magical. They had a lot to be thankful for.
Present
They spent some of New Years Day at home and then went over to the dads who had his grandads Jamie and Philipo over for lunch. They all reflected on the past year. It was clear that Jeremy was concerned with his operation in February. They didn`t talk about it but it was always there.
They had invited Michael and Anna, Mark and Phoebe over to watch the Vienna Symphony usher in the New Year from Vienna. They all loved the music, the flowers and the simply lavish Musikverein. They all truly wished each other for a great New Year. Robert saw the looks between the two couples and he knew how their evening was going to end.
Then the next week, it was getting everything that had to be done so that they could leave the city for Buffalo and the trip to Arizona. They left the city on Friday at 12 noon and met Thomas and Liam at the Buffalo airport for their trip to Tucson. They had managed to book a flight that would leave in the afternoon and arrive after midnight in Tucson. That had been OK for all concerned and Ron had said he would meet them at the airport in south Tucson. It would take a while to get to his home north of Tucson but the guys were young and the late night wouldnt bother them. They had been lucky as there were no delays in either of the airports that they had booked through and they arrived on time in Tucson. The guys only regret was that they could not see the landscape as they flew over Arizona at night.
The two couples picked up their rental car. They followed Ron as he left the airport and eventually merged onto the the I 19 and then the I 10 West out of Tucson. It was Lucas who commented to Robert that they appeared to be going north not west. Robert reminded him that all even numbered Interstates ran east, west and it just happened that the I 10 outside Tucson turned east and turned west out of Phoenix but the I 10 did go north from Tucson to Phoenix.
They finally turned off of the Interstate after a lengthy drive. They went through a couple of housing developments and the suddenly came to what looked like a forest of Saguaro cactuses that were as tall as trees which it turned out to be exactly that. Ron turned down a street that was lined with cactus and finally turned into a driveway. The car lights shone on a lovely home.
They couldn`t stop talking about how wonderful the landscape and the house were. Ron had them put their things in their rooms and he had a light supper ready for them. He commented that airline food was not good. It was Liam who asked what food. They had not been served any food on any of their flights.
There were a few yawns, especially from Robert and Lucas after their drive to Buffalo earlier that day and then the flights south. They all said good night. Robert and Lucas were in bed. Lucas felt a hand touching him. It was Lucas who looked at Robert and told him that he would have to wait until morning for what he wanted. Robert smiled and said sighing that he could always hope but if Lucas wasn`t up to it .... Before he could finish his sentence, he got a hug and blistering kiss from Lucas who said that that was all for this day.
The sun was shining in their window. Lucas felt the movement on the bed. Robert stood up and went to the window of their room. He gasped and turned to see if Lucas was awake. "You have to see this."
Lucas crawled out of bed and he too gasped as he looked out of the window. It was incredible. There was a beautiful back patio of stone with a border of flowers with chairs, tables, umbrellas and a BBQ. Beyond that was something that the guys could hardly believe. There was indeed a forest of saguaro cactuses.
They heard talking in the kitchen. They dressed and went to the kitchen. Liam and Ron were there preparing breakfast. Robert looked at Ron. "Ron, I can only say that this is certainly not Ontario. I don`t think that I have ever seen anything like your forest of cactuses."
Ron smiled. "You just had to say it didn`t you?"
"Yep. Ron, your house, your forest are almost unbeliveable for us. Your outdoor patio is magnificent. Could we eat out there?"
"Might be a bit chilly now but it would be OK for lunch or supper."
"Youre right. I checked my weather app and it is only about 6 C right now. The high is going to be in the high teens. Sorry, we havent had the time to switch to your measure. We have only been brought up in metric." He looked at the Liam. "I made you switch to metric but I didn`t take the time to learn imperial." He shrugged his shoulders.
"I bet that you will figure it out before you leave. Now breakfast and what do you want to do today?"
"I was going to ask the same question. Perhaps tell us what you would suggest. Don`t forget that you should have some time to look up your old buddies. We can look after ourselves."
Thomas looked at them. "Liam and I figured that we should give you a tour of Tucson. We have a route planned that will take us down to the University. We think that you will like it. I understand that Tucson has changed quite a bit since we left. It is going to be interesting for us as well. We have arranged some time with some friends who are still living here. They decided on two cars so that Thomas and Liam could meet their friends for lunch.
It was a fairly long drive. Robert and Lucas parked their car and went with Thomas and Liam. The ended up driving around the university. They drove them past the Arizona Inn which they thought that they might have lunch there one day and they could wander around the beautiful gardens. They drove down 4th Avenue and ended up driving around downtown Tucson. They saw the Art Museum and they went through some of the other areas and saw a place called the Old Town Artisans. They figured they would come back to that area. They didn`t stop but they decided that one day they would wander around the downtown. They got back to their car and told Thomas and Liam that they had decided to drive down to San Xavier del Bac Mission a short drive down the I 19.
It was not a hot day. Their weather app said that the temperature would be around 16 C. The sun was shining and they had on light jackets. As Thomas said, it was a lot warmer than Buffalo.
They were totally mesmerised by the church. It went back to 1797. The inside had been renovated in the early 2000s. It was small but the statues and the paintings and decorative work on the walls were beautiful. They sat and just took in the ambiance of the place. On one level, they almost felt as they did when they had visited Notre Dame in Paris their first time. Both of them felt so close as they walked towards the front of the church. Robert crossed himself as did Lucas and they bowed their heads to statues of Mary and Jesus. It was clear that many did not do what they had done and they did see several people look at them. Again, Robert realized that what people saw were two very handsome, well built young men who usually did not act as they did. They wandered throught the small museum and the gardens. They were both so glad to have made trip to see it.
They drove back to downtown Tucson, parked and found a restaurant that they were directed to when they asked some people in the area. They had a good meal. They had a map of the city and they drove around and finally decided to head back to Ron`s wonderful home. They both knew how to get there as they had watched carefully as they had left that morning. They arrived to an empty house.
They went in to their bedroom to change their clothes. Robert had taken off his pants and shirt and he was lookinng out the window, enjoying the landscape and the forest of cactus. Lucas came up behind him and put his arms around him. "Robbie that is such an incredible sight and so is the body in front of me. We are alone and we didn`t do anything this morning."
Robert turned around. He smiled and looked at Lucas. He reached up and almost tore Lucas` t shirt off him. "It has been a great first day. A quicky?"
They were naked in seconds. Robert looked up and down at Lucas` body. Robert started to chuckle. He reached down and lightly stroked the big cock. He moved sideways. "Your cock looks like a sajuaro cactus arm. It sticks out and then curves up. Mine just sticks out and slightly up"
They both started to laugh. Lucas looked at him. "Please, tell me, that you are not going to start calling me your sajuaro man."

Later as they came down from their high, they heard voices in the kitchen. They quickly cleaned up and went searching to see if it was Thomas and Liam back from meeting their friends.
"So how did your day with your friends go."
Thomas and Liam looked at each other with a strange look. Liam spoke up. "I almost didn`t recognize them. One has lost a lot of his hair and the other has put on a lot of weight and it is not muscle. However, they are both have very good jobs and obviously money is not an issue. They were together when we knew them. They have broken up but are still friends. Not unusual in our community. I guess that you and we are the odd ones out. They did ask if we wanted to go out dancing. Interested?"
Almost together, "Yes!" Lucas continued. "Just give us the evening and we`ll be there."
Thomas looked at them. "How about Monday night?"
Robert looked at them. "We`ll be ready."
It was Liam who laughed. "Knowing you guys, you`ll probably combust on the floor and burn the place down."
Lucas looked at Liam and then Thomas with his eyes narrowed. "If I remember the last time we danced with you guys, it was foreplay between you two."
Laughing, they all agreed that they were all horny buggers.
Robert decided to change the converstation. "By the way, we went to Trader Joes on Grant and bought some really interesting stuff for supper. We could do the sausages that we bought at a good butchery on the BBQ."
"Guys, you didnt have to that but thanks. Great idea. We can acutally eat outside if we dont wait too long. The temperatures are sure better than at home right now. In fact, I looked at my weather app and there is a big storm sweeping across our and your homes. Glad you came?"
Big smiles from everyone.
When Ron came home, he couldn`t stop thanking them for getting supper ready. They all put on sweaters and enjoyed a BBQ outdoors in January. It was almost unbelieveable for Robert and Lucas.
Ron spoke up as they carried everything back in to the house. "You went to San Xavier today. I suspect that you have not seen a canyon in the south. They are different from those up north. We go up in to the Canyons not down. There is a lovely Canyon called Madera Canyon south of us and I would suggest that you might like to go for a hike there tomorrow. The Desert Museum is usually quite busy on Sundays. You could drive down to Green Valley and Madera Canyon tomorrow morning and have something to eat down in Tubac, a really nice little tourist place south of the Canyon off the I 19. He gave them the exit number for Tubac.
They all caught up their emails. Robert opened up one from Mark at work. He just told him that all was well and told him to have a great time. He emailed his Papa to confirm that all was well with his Dad and it was.
They all went to bed early supposedly so the could get up early the next morning. Lucas looked at Robert as they went in to their room. "I suspect that only person who is going to bed early is Ron. I saw the look between Thomas and Liam. I am so glad that we met them. They are almost as hot as you."
Robert smiled. "You`ll say anything to get me naked and hard."
"Yep. Except lover, you ARE HOT!"
They agreed later that they were both hot, for each other.
They left early the next morning after a breakfast of eggs and bacon to hold them until lunch. The guys enjoyed their views of the Sonoran Desert as they drove down the I 19. They were surprised when they noticed that all the signs were in kilometres, well the distance sign. The speed signs were in miles/hour. They discovered later that the I 19 was constructed when the US and Canada were to go metric. The US backed down and Canada switched to metric.
They were fascinated by the drive up to Madera Canyon. As they gained altitude, their surroundings changed until finally they were out of the desert and in a fairly dense forest and the temperatures were lower than down in Green Valley. They had a great walk from the trial head up to above the tree line and they saw plants and cactus that were so different from their landscapes. The stopped for many minutes to watch the deer on the side of the mountain. Luckily, they had brought food with them and something to drink. They sat closely together enjoying the companionship and the beautiful surroundings.
They enjoyed Tubac and they bought some things for people back home. They had eaten on the trail so they had light lunch. They arrived back home. The temperatures had risen to 19 C and they went out on the patio with their iPads and Kindles and talked and read. They heard Thomas and Lian return from visiting with more of their friends from university. They talked about their days and then prepared supper so that when Ron came home, they could sit down and eat. Robert and Lucas had stopped at a very good wine store, Total Wine & More and bought several very good wines for the next few days.
The next day was their day at the Sonoran Desert Museum. As it turned out, it would be their first visit to the Desert Museum. They walked slowly to the entrance and after they paid for their tickets, they walked out to a small area over looking the plants and scanned the the flowers and plants on all sides of them. It was Robert who expressed it. "This is like nothing that I have ever seen before. It stretches out for what looks like kilometres. I can hardly wait to wander around this outdoor Museum." He looked at Thomas and Liam. "Yes, I know that there are some areas that are underground with various themes but this is amazing."
They spent the morning and part of the afternoon wandering around the grounds. They had a very good lunch at the restaurant. It was a bit expensive but it had been worth it. They hadn`t liked the look of the fast food cafe and they wanted a time to relax and talk
They took them to some of the exhibts which were farther away. They marvelled at the varius members of the cat family. They loved the area where some of the local animals were. It turned out that that was it for the day. They went back to Rons and rested and then got ready to go out dancing with Thomas and Liams friends from university. It was a good club that serverd dinner and then there was an excellent DJ who played great music.
The club was better than they had thought. It was much like some of the places in their city and in Buffalo. They had read that it had excellent food. It was Lucas who looked at the menu and whispered to Robert that the food should be good at those prices. It turned out the prices did bring a great meal to them.
The music started up. Their group stood up and went to the dance floor. Liam looked at Robert and Lucas. "So are going to do your usual style."
Lucas looked back at them. "How about you? Remember what I said about your last time on the dance floor. Hot!!!"
Thomas looked at their Tucson friends. "You are in for a treat. Our Canadian friends are not in the least ready to just dance. Wait `til you see them as the night goes on."
"Guys, it is a mixed group of heteros and gays. I suspect that we shall be on our best behaviour. Hmm, maybe the last set will be a bit different."
Liam and Thomas just laughed at them. The Tucson group didnt know what to expect. As the evening went on, Robert and Lucas were dancing closer and closer together. Finally, they knew that this might be their last set. They were dancing a slow one when Lucas leaned back and looked at Robert. "Robbie, I cant get enough of you tonight. It has been a magical few days." He leaned in and kissed Robert. It was not a simple kiss it was scorcher.
Robert looked at him after the kiss with a seductive smile. "Want to show them how we can really dance?"
Nothing more was said. Hands slowly went down each others backs to their butts. Robert looked at Lucas and kissed him. As they pulled each other in, they could feel the others hardness. The DJ was very good. They danced to the latin pieces just as they had the other dances. They laughed and joked with each other as they danced a fast dance. Finally, the DJ played a slow dance again. They looked at each other. Robert just smiled and nodded his head. Lucas turned Robert around so that his back was against Lucas chest. Lucas ran his hands over Roberts chest and then put his finger just behind his belt. Robert had dreamy look on his face. Finally, Robert turned his head and they kissed. As they kissed, Lucas turned Robert around and they pulled each other in to their bodies. The kiss never stopped. There were tears in each others eyes. The piece ended and they held onto each other looking at each other.
It was Robert who finally spoke. "Lover, you make me whole."
They walked off the dance floor to their table. They noticed that some of the gay couples watched them as they walked to their table. They were both still slightly hard but they didn`t care.
Liam looked at his Tucson friends. "I told you what they would do at some point this evening. Hot, hot, hot." With admiration, "They have been together for 5 years and they were married last year. We can`t tell you how much they have come to mean to us."
Liam looked at Thomas and smiled. "Come on, let`s show them what WE can do."
Minutes later it was Thomas who was pulled in to Liam`s chest and Thomas turned his head and kissed his guy. As they left the dance floor, they had seveal couples look at them in admiration. It became pretty clear that this was just the warm up, foreplay, before they were making love to each other.
They had decided that the next dance would be their last dance of the night. They left their table with eyes focused on them. Their university friends couldnt believe how they had ended the evening. They said their goodbyes and drove to Rons home.
Lucas and Robert were finally in their bedroom. It was Robert who looked at Lucas. "Don`t even think of taking your clothes off. That, is my job. I have plans for you, lover."
Lucas smiled at him. "A dirty, wild evening?"
"Something like that. You up to it?" The intense look bored in to Lucas. Yeah, Robert could see it; he was ready for it.
Robert pulled him close and kissed him. He walked backward pulling Lucas with him. His legs touched the bed. Robert looked over and kissed him hard and then leaned back looking at him. He reached forward and bit Lucas lip and then Robert invaded him with his tongue. He slowly unbutonned Lucas shirt and then almost ripped his t shirt off. Robert stood and kissed Lucas chest and each nipple. Roberts eyes were hooded and his leaned forwad and took Lucas` right nipple in to his mouth and sucked it hard. His eyes glanced up at Lucas and then he bit that nipple even harder. He could hear Lucas, "Oh shit and then oh fuck Robbie."
He looked up at Lucas and then kissed him hard again. As he kissed, his fingers went down and undid his belt and then they heard the sound of the zipper being pulled down. Robert literally grabbed his pants and briefs and pushed them down to the floor and Lucas stepped out of them. Robert turned him around and pushed him onto the bed. Robert knelt on the floor and pushed Lucas legs out and up. He tongue was immediately licking him up and down his crack. When he put a finger in Lucas opening, he heard Lucas sigh in pleasure. He had more louder sighs as two and then three fingers went in.

They woke in the moring holding each other knowing that they had to get up and join Ron, Thomas and Liam for breakfast. Robert looked down at Lucas. "Thank you for last night. We are so blest that we can do what we did at the club and then back here last night."
Over breakfast they planned the rest of their days in Arizona. They spent most of that day at the Desert Museum. Then over the last days, Liam and Thomas showed them more of their favourite places in Tucson. They did have lunch at the Arizona Inn and they spent almost an hour after lunch wandering around the gardens. They finished their last day at the Reid Park Zoo. It was a small zoo but they just enjoyed wandering around it on magnificent day with the temperature at 23 C in the afternoon. The had their last supper out on the patio. Ron came with them to Tuscon Airport and took them to the drop off centre for rented cars. Their good byes left Robert and Lucas with tears in their eyes. Who would have thought that a chance meeting in Toronto could be so important in their lives.
It was a truly bitter sweet good bye. It was clear that Thomas and Liam had become very close to Ron Corbett and so had they. Later in the day, the good bye in Buffalo was even harder. Thomas and Liam knew what Lucas was going to face when Jeremy went in for his operation. He would be in charge of The Accountants for a number of weeks. They were excited about their time in Paris in May. They made arrangement for them to come up to Canada and spend some time with them over a weekend in mid April. Again both couples voiced their regret of living so far from each other.
Robert phoned his fathers the minute that they had unpacked their suitcases. Jeremy was fine and they knew that they had to fly to Paris at the end the week for their important meeting with the firms who were using ForensicPlus in Paris. They hoped that there would not be too many problems with the French version.
