Jeremy looked at the two of them with a smile and with look of pride at each of them. This is a little celebration. He looked at Robert. "I have been thinking back over all the things that you have accomplished in the last year, years really. Now we have Lucas running the firm. I want to salute both of you. We have some very good wine, scotch, bourbon almost anything you want. They each made their choice. Robert was still wondering what was going on.
"To both of you. Robert, you have done an exceptional job with your firm. Lucas, you have gone beyond my expectaions. You did an amazing job this morning. I should have done that a long time ago. You have my support 100 percent. You have done a great job runing the firm."
Robert was looking back and forth between his dad and Lucas. "What, what have I missed?"
"He hasnt told you! He took that idiot Daryl on today. From what I heard, he didnt leave his door open by accident. Thank you for doing that."
"Lucas, thanks. We finally get to take him on. I still laugh sometimes when I remember you losing your cool and then my kiss to you. Even if I do say so myself, it was a great kiss."
They all laughed remembering that day. It was good to see Jeremy so happy. Robert gave Lucas a really great smile of pride. There was another look as well. Lucas figured that it might be interesting when they were home. He was right. HOT! HOT! HOT!
Present
Lucas went early to work the next day. He was prepared for any eventuality. He took several calls. One was from Mr. Taylor who could not stop thanking him and Michel for their excellent work. The problem had been solved and a staff member had been fired. In the afternoon, he did contact David Wetherall and he told Lucas that he had one of his best days at The Accountants. David had left on the Friday but Lucas had decided that he wanted a little send off for him. He had been at The Accountants for years and so he organized a late afternoon bon voyage party on Monday with dirinks and food for anyone who wanted to attend. He had made up an excuse that he had something that he wanted to see him about.
Davids first reaction was. "Please dontt tell me that there is a problem and I have to stay until March. Jeremy is OK I hope."
"Well there is a little problem. Could you come down with me and just take a look? I am not sure what to do."
He arrived and they walked towards the board room. Lucas opened the door and there were all the heads of sections and many other members of staff. Lucas looked at them and shook his head yes. As one, they yelled out bon voyage. David looked around the room and saw Mark standing back and smiling at him. Robert was beside Mark.
There were tears in David`s eyes. He smiled at Mark and asked him to join him. With Mark beside him, he looked at Lucas, Mark and the group. The heads of sections parted and Jeremy was siting behind them with Timothy beside him.
Lucas had organized this so he decided that he should speak. "David, I can`t thank you enough for all that you have done for The Accountants and especially for me in the last two weeks. I am so happy that Jeremy is here. Not many people know that Jeremy and David solved a forensic case back when Jeremy had just graduated from high school. He has told me that that case helped him make up his mind about being a forensic accountant.
Jeremy stood up. "Right and I ended up getting a broken nose for my efforts. I may add, not from David." There were chuckles around the room.
Lucas continued. "OK, this is not a send off for retirement. David will be back in a couple of months. I personally wanted to let him know how much we shall miss his knowledge and bright mind." He turned to David. "Have a great couple of months travelling with Mark. I, we shall be looking forward to hear of your travels and skiing adventures." He paused. "Enough of speeches. There are some excellent scotches and bourbons along with some great local beers, wines coffee and soft drinks. Enjoy."
Lucas was suddenly grabbed by David with a huge hug. Jeremy was walking up to the front. Jeremy wrapped his arms around David. "We do have a long history. That summer was formative for me. Have a great time. I`ll miss you."
Jeremy embraced Mark and then turned to Lucas. Quietly, "Son, I am not certain what to say. You have done a great job in the last couple of weeks. You have the instinct for leadership. I am still feeling a bit rough but I had to be here this afternoon."
Robert came up to Lucas. They almost never showed affection in public places but he looked at Lucas and put his arm over his shoulder. "You don`t fool around when you take charge."
Lucas got that look on his face. "I always like to fool around." He smiled and asked Robbie to keep his arm over his shoulder. "There are some very good scotches. Let`s go taste and then circulate. The Boss has to be seen."
The scotches were very good. They did circulate. Robert could see the looks of surprise and admiration for what Lucas had done. It was his assistant Michel who came up to Lucas. "Boss, good work. We need to be reminded to celebrate excellence and David was a good person to start with."
Before people started to leave. Jeremy held up his arms. "Gentlemen and Ladies, I am still feeling a little rough. I want you to know that I am going to take the entire month off. From what I see and have heard, Lucas has done exactly what I hoped he would do. He has taken my place and guided the firm well. I can`t thank him enough for the job that he has done."
Lucas was surprised when he heard the heads say words of encouragement for him. Jeremy looked at him. Quietly, "Timothy and I want to take you, Robert, David and Mark out for dinner tonight. My treat at the French Restaurant." David has said he would really enjoy it.
With a smile, Lucas looked at Jeremy. "Not going to miss that invitation."
As they left for the restaurant, Lucas looked at Robert. "Sorry, I realized today that I have been too focused on what I am doing at The Accountants. Robbie, talk to me about what you have done over the last two and half weeks. I am sure that you haven`t wasted any time."
Robert looked at him. "Lucas, you have done an incredible job for Jeremy and the firm. What you just said asking me what I have done, really makes me understand how close we are together. Thanks."
He looked at Lucas trying to organize his thoughts. "We have managed to get ForensicPlus ready to send out tomorrow to our two firms, the one in Montreal and the other in Paris. We are hoping that there will be no major changes. If there are no major problems, the team has put together an invitation to firms in Quebec to attend a presentation on the second Friday in March and then we are going to send out an invitation for a presentation in Paris on the last Friday in March. The team figured that we would need the time to work on orders. It gives us time to get ourselves ready for Paris. Well have to arrive a few days in advance to get ready. Well just have to hope that there are no major problems with our firms. I hope that you are OK with the schedule."
Lucas smiled. "Jeremy and I have decided that I am going back to my office on March 1st. There will be things that I shall have to get involved with. Michel has done a great job and he can take over on those days when I have to be in Montreal and Paris." Lucas paused. "Just an idea. We could invite Mathieu, the waiter and student at UQAM (University de Quebec a Montreal) for the presentation in Montreal. It will take a day away from his studies but we were both impressed by him and perhaps it would give him a little shove to come for that week that you promised he could have."
"Lucas, you really are acting like the boss of a firm. Great idea. I have his information and Ill email him tomorrow. Ill have to stress that there could be a change of dates if there are any major problems with ForensicPlus."
They had a great time at the restaurant. It was obvious that David was very pleased with the send off for him. Mark looked so proud of him. They talked about what they were going to do. They had decided to go to Whistler and ski for a few days and then take some time in Vancouver. Then down to Vail and ski for a few more days, possibly a week. Then they were going on vacation for two weeks to Hawaii. They hadn`t decided what to do after that but they were considering visiting some of the Asian countries.
Lucas enjoyed his last week and half in Jeremys office. He was looking forward to getting back to his forensic division. On the last day of February, he was called down to the conference room. Apparently there had been a problem in one of the departments. He opened the door. All the heads and many other accountants were in the conference room. He scanned the room and there was Robert with a huge smile on his face and Jeremy was beside him with his arms over Roberts shoulder.
Lucas stopped and looked at everyone. Speaking with determination but with that little smile that he could have, "I am still the boss and I didn`t arrange this."
Jeremy came forward. "Lucas, you deserved this. I am only hearing how well you have taken my place. It seems that I could retire today. Not going to happen but .... Lucas, I knew that I could trust you taking my place. This is my thank you for what you have done for me and the firm. Come and enjoy youself. I think that there is someone who really wants to talk to you. Robert came forward and gave him a hug. He whispered congratulations. He did more than that we they arrived home.
There were no problems with ForensicPlus that they had sent out. The invitation to a presentation were sent to firms in Quebec. They did say that there was not a lot of time given but they had to get the program to firms in Quebec. They stated that there would be another presentation in April both in Quebec and in France. Robert received an email from Mathieu who said that he would very much like to attend the presentation and help them. Robert replied back that he was looking forward to seeing him again.
The word must have spread and they were inundated with replies that many firm were coming to the presentation. Luckily, they had rented a large meeting room and it looked as if it would take everyone. They arrived in Montreal on Wednesday night and spent Thursday getting the presentation room ready for the presentation. They went out that night to the dance club, restaurant and managed to have Mathieu as their waiter. Edward came with them. They were surprised when Edward was invited to dance and he had accepted. Edward laughed as they left the club telling them that he had several invitations to go out with several guys after the meal. In his own way, he told them that he was with his boss and had work that night. Lucas and Robert danced their usual way causing Mathieu to whisper that it was almost pornographic.
The had set up the room on Thursday. They were at the presentation room early on Friday morning with Edward and Mathieu running the slides. Again, Robert and Lucas were impressed by Edwards French and his ability to take charge of Mathieu. The presentation was a success especially when the head of the firm in Montreal who they had worked with spoke so highly of ForensicPlus and the amount of time that Roberts firm had worked on it. Over the next days, they were inundated with purchases of the program.
Mathieu had been astonished at the depth of knowledge that Robert, Lucas and Edward had for ForensicPlus. They arranged for a week in May for Mathieu to come and work at Robert`s firm for the week and then they could interview him for a job if he wanted to join them.
They were back and started immediately to plan for their departure in the last week of March for the presentation in Paris. Again they took Edward with them and asked Edward if he would like to bring Geophrey to come with him to help run the show. Geophrey couldn`t stop thanking them for the chance to go with Edward. He had never been to France or Europe for that matter and he was excited that he would see Paris with Edward even if only for a few days. They had decided to leave on a Wednesday flight and a Sunday departure later in the day. Vincent had found a large meeting room for the presentation. Robert and Lucas would pay for it.
Lucas and Robert were introduced by Vincent who commented on his feelings as to how young they were. He ended his introduction by saying that these young men were brillant in their field and that ForensicPlus would change how they worked forensic cases.
The presentation was another success. They sold many copies that day and encouraged people attending to visit their web site if they wanted copies of the program sent by electronic shipping. They had previously invited Vincent, his wife Anne and son, Victor, for supper at one of the best restaurants in Paris. Of course, Edward and Geophrey went with them.
It turned out to be one of those delightful evenings. Edward and Geophrey fitted in seamlessly. Vincent, Anne and Viktor were fascinated by Geophrey`s position in his law firm. He was already working small cases in court. He described one crazy case that he had and had everyone laughing at his description of how his client acted and who was cleared of any wrong doing. He spoke excellent French as he described his job and his case. Viktor asked both Edward and Geophrey to speak English so that he could practice his English. Robert and Lucas spoke French to Anne and Vincent as Anne was not fluent in English but she looked so pleased watching her son speak English fairly well.
At one point, in the evening Lucas asked if the family had ever thought of visiing Canada for a visit in the summer or early fall. They could arrrive in Montreal, visit Quebec City and then come to their home in Ontario. Of course, they invited them to the Chalet for a weekend while they were in Canada. He assured them that his family, dads and cousins all spoke French so there would be no problem for Anne.
Vincent thanked them for the invitation and said that they would consider it as a family. There were hugs and kisses from all of Robert`s team. It was Edward who stopped them all as they were about to leave. "I never imagined that I would have such wonderful time meeting a Parisian family and having such an enjoyable dinner with them."
After they saw Vincent and family leave, they walked towards the 5th. They were careful how they touched their partners in that part of Paris at that time of night. When they finally were near the Sorbonne, they put arms around their partner and enjoyed the touch and feel of them.
They said their goodnight. Robert smiled as he saw Edwards hand slip down to hold and touch Geophreys butt. He smiled to himself as he did the same thing to Lucas.
Robert turned Lucas around and kissed him. "What a wonderful evening. There are days when I realize how much we have done since I first met you. I remember us figuring out that we had a very good chance of being on the univeristy hockey team."
Lucas looked at him. "I was so scared when you started to ask me about Thanksgiving. I had lots of thoughts of you and I had decided that we could just be best friends. Your family was so alive and welcoming. Then you reacted to my kiss. Here we are in Paris with new friends and then we have Edward and Geophrey with us. You know we are so much like Jeremy and Timothy."
They undressed each other. Robert smiled. "I remember the night that you drank too much at that first pub night with the team. I had to undress you and I happened to notice how big you were in all areas. I had to use my hand to get to sleep."
"Robbie you have filled out and you have magnificent body and your equipment is worth a look and a feel." Lucas reached over and touched his cock with just two fingers. Robert sighed and closed his eyes. He looked as if had gone into another space. He finally opened his eyes and looked at Lucas. "Lover, I don`t know how we do this to each other."
They were awake early the next morning as they wanted Edward and Geophrey tto see the impressionist gallery at the Musee d`Orsay. They had the same reactions as most people did after they went through the gallery, magnificent. They did what was now their standard route: crossover to the Tuillerie Gardens, the Place de la Concorde up to the Blvd Hausmann to shop in the galleries. They took the Metro back to the 5th.
Edward stopped outside a restaurant and smiled at Geophrey. Then Edward looked at Robert and Lucas. "Boss and Lucas, you have taken us to so many places. We went on line and this restaurant has excellent reviews. We are taking you to lunch." He gave them a hard look. "Geophrey and I are paying. There will be no attempt from you to try and pay for lunch. This is our thank you for all that you have done for us. Got it?"
Robert and Lucas as one started to laugh. It was Robert who finally, smiling, looked at them. "Got it!!!"
The lunch was excellent. They had fun driving the staff crazy as the switched between English and French during the lunch. The Maitre d` came over smiling. "Gentlemen, it has been a pleasure to have you here. You speak French and English fluently. My guess is that you are Canadian. Looking at Robert, you have an accent of a Parisian but the rest of you have an accent which must be good Canadian French." He was surprised when Lucas, Edward and Geophrey said that their first language was English but they obviously spoke French fluently. It was the end of a good day. They wandered around their area the next day just taking in the beauty of the area. Evenutally, they called a cab to take them to the aeroport.
The next weeks seemed to go so quickly for all of them. Suddenly, it was 3 days before Paul and Sean`s wedding. There had been a stag party the week before that had gone really well. Sean had told them at the stag party that he was still wondering how his father would react to the actual wedding day. There was no rehearsal evening before the actual day of their wedding on Saturday. They had decided to have a big supper party in the evening after their marriage at city hall. They would fly to Paris the next day for their honeymoon.
On Thursday, Paul and Sean came over to Robert and Lucas place for supper. They had a great time until Lucas asked how Seans father was reacting to the wedding. Sean looked at them. "Im not sure. He is coming to the wedding and to the supper after. He has said very little. My mother on the other hand is excited. The great part is that Pauls parents have been so helpful. Of course, they have known and accepted for a long time that Paul is gay and they are happy that he has found someone that they like." He smiled. "Me." They all chuckled.
Lucas spoke up. "Maybe he is thinking about it and accepting it."
Sean looked at him blowing air out of his mouth. "Yeah! Right!!!" They all laughed.
They picked up Paul and Sean on the Saturday and took them to the registry office. They looked great in their new suits. There were the two sets of parents and a couple of other close friends from work along with Robert and Lucas. Mr. OReilly was calm and quiet. He seemed to be watching everything closely. They could see the love in Seans mothers looks and actions. Pauls parents looked so happy for their son. The surprise was that Jeremy and Timothy were invited to the ceremony. As Paul said, he almost felt that they were his second set of parents. As the words were spoken and the pronouncement that they were married, Robert and Lucas moved to each other and held hands.
The supper was great and there were the usual toasts and knives on classes demanding that they kiss. Supper ended and they all knew that the tables would be cleared and the dance floor would be set up with a DJ.
Mr. OReilley stood up and came over to his son and his now son-in-law. Robert and Lucas tensed. They could see the look of resignation in Seans face.
Mr. O`Reilly turned to the audience. "My son and son-in-law will tell you that I have not been too keen about gay marriage. I was invited to their home in February for supper. Little did I know at the time that I was in for a lot of soul searching. A young man who was also invited for supper took me on. He told me what he thought of marriage and specifically gay marriage. He said that marriage for anyone was a time when two people who loved each other celebrated their love in public telling family and friends of their love and their desire to be together. Today I watched my son and his partner do exactly that. I watched them take their vows as I did with my wife and I saw the kiss." He looked at the audience and then his son. "Sean I felt honoured today as I watched you do that. Thank you for not giving up on me."
There were tears in Seans eyes. He and Paul at the same time went over and hugged Mr and Mr. OReilly. Jeremy touched his sons hand. Lucas put his arm over Roberts shoulder. Robert looked at Lucas with a huge smile and kissed him. Robert hugged his dads. Robert went over to Mr. O`Reilly and shook his hand.
Robert looked at him. "You have no idea how much that means to Sean and Paul."
Mr OReilly leaned in to Robert. "Thank you so much for how you took me on with my outdated concepts of love and marriage. I guess we dont have to agree to disagree on this issue." Everyone knew who had taken Mr. O`Reilly on.
The rest of the night could not have gone better. When finally the DJ played the last song, Paul and Sean came over to Robert, Lucas and the dads.
Sean looked at them. "We arent sure how we can ever thank you. First to Robert and Lucas for all their support." Sean turned to Jeremy and Timothy. "Today was great but we cant tell you how excited we are to be leaving tomorrow for Paris." They each hugged a dad and then switched. It was wonderful end to a great day.
The day had not ended for Robert and Lucas. They went home. "Robbie, you do the most amazing things."
Robert held up his hands. "Just a minute. You are the boss who took on a fucking bastard at work and I know that you keep checking to make certain that that idiot has stop harassing a staff member. I am so proud of you."
Lucas looked at Robert with a smile. "I guess we appreciate each other."
Robert looked at Lucas with a total look of love. "I guess we should shut up and show each other what we think of each other." He leaned over and gave Lucas a kiss. It started almost as a chaste kiss but that didn`t last long. The kiss became more intense and finally there were tongues duelling.
Lucas reached over and took Roberts shirt and t shirt off and he ran his hands and fingers over Robertts chest. Robert gasped as Lucas pinched his nipples and then pulled the hair on his chest. He was almost instantly hard. Robert pulled Lucas in to himself and kissed him again, hard. Then very quickly Lucas` chest was bare and he was gasping to the bites on his nipples and his chest hair was being pulled.
They pulled each other close and they could feel the others hardness. Both were breathing heavily. At some point, pants and shorts were off and they were naked. Robert knew what he wanted. He pushed Lucas onto his back on the bed. Robert moved between Lucas legs and he leaned down and kissed him. "Tonight I want to take you and tomorrow morning, I`ll expect the same from you. Not negotiable tonight."
"Lover, no complaints from me. I want you in me and I want you to edge several times."
Robert looked down at Lucas. Lucas reached down and put Robert at his entrance. As Robert kissed him again, he moved slowly and entered him. He could hear Lucas` moans as he slowly went in to him. When he could go no farther, he leaned over and kissed Lucas as he started to move in him.
They edged several times. Robert used long slow strokes and then fast hard ones. Finally, both knew that they were not going to last much longer. Lucas moaned as Robert sped up his rythmn. There was no stopping Robert now. Lucas could feel him going in and out faster and faster. Robert finally went in hard and stopped as his orgasm took over his body. It was one of the strongest that he had in a long time. He finally started his rythmn to match his contractions and pulses of semen. He couldnt stop kissing Lucas. As he kissed Lucas, he could feel Lucas hand going harder and faster as he stroked himself. He cried out as he started. He reached up and pulled Robert down and kissed him. Robert looked down at Lucaschest and Robert leaned down and licked the cum and sucked it into his mouth and fed it to Lucas. Lucas swallowed it and Robert heard the theah fuck` from Lucas.
"Robbie, I don`t know how we do it to each other but tomorrow morning there is going to be a repeat by me of what happened tonight." As it turned out the next morning, it was just as loving, sexy and incredible as the previous night.
