Finally back. Trip to Europe was incredible. Paris was crowded with Euro Cup fans but they were fun and enjoyable. Paris is Paris, incredible. I have spent a lot of July and August at my off grid cabin relaxing.

I have given a short resume below. I know that many of you read many stories and may have to reread a couple of earlier chapters of Unexpected to get back into the storyline. Chapter 27 might be enough to read to get back into the story.

Timothy has presented his plan for reorganization of his office area and it was accepted quickly with little discussion. Jamie has reorganized the Accountants and Jeremy is now the Assistant Head of the Forensic Division. He put his stamp on that by giving Heather the chance to take a forensic course at university and William is going to a forensic conference in Boston with Jeremy. Jeremy is making a presentation with Michael Burtchell and one by himself at Quick Tricks at the conference. Jeremy is now the second biggest share holder in the Accountants which is not something that he has told anyone except Timothy. They are about to take ownership of their house and start renovations

This chapter starts on their evening at the chalet when they went up by themselves to decide whether to keep it open for the winter or close it. It is evening and it is getting dark. The furnace is on and a fire has been lit in the fireplace. It didn't take long to build a bed out of couch cushions in front of the fireplace.

Previously

Timothy held up the lube he had brought from his kit. He put some on his finger and then took Jeremy's hand and put lots on one finger. Timothy shuddered as the finger went in him and when it found his prostate, he cried out. A mouth that surrounded the head of his cock brought another shudder and tensing of his body. Jeremy was even noisier when Timothy followed his actions. Both had come to love the taste of their partner and there were murmurs of enjoyment of the taste. Sensations of erotic pleasure shot through each of them. They knew that this was not going to last long. It didn't have to as this was the culmination of a great day together.

Timothy could feel that Jeremy was close so he used both his hand, fingers and mouth on the hard object that was now leaking a lot. He stopped Jeremy and told him to just enjoy the entire release without doing anything else. Jeremy's body stiffened and suddenly Timothy felt and tasted the first shot. He knew that Jeremy loved being stroked hard but slowly at this moment.

When Jeremy went limp, Timothy raised his head and smiled at his guy. "Amazing!" Jeremy pulled him to himself and kissed him. Then he immediately repeated everything on Timothy who came, crying out Jeremy's name as his body shuddered and his breathing went ragged. He grabbed Jeremy and pulled him in for yet another kiss.

Neither guy wanted to talk as they lay facing the fire with Jeremy spooning Timothy. They woke up many minutes later slightly chilly as the fire had begun to die down. They left everything as it was and with arms around each other, they went to bed.

Present

Jeremy chuckled as they went into the living room the next day. He pulled Timothy to him as they surveyed the abandoned bed of cushions by the fire and the clothes scattered around. "You surprise me all the time and excite me at the same time."

Timothy with determination, "No nonsense right now." Pointing to the cushions, "You fix that up and put on a fire. I'll get the coffee on and get some breakfast for us."

"Yes, sir!" He got a smack on the ass for his 'impudence'. Of course he enjoyed it.

Sipping his first coffee of the day, Jeremy in front of the warning fire, "I really like your idea of a winter weekend here with friends. Let's save family for another time. We own a house tomorrow. I have been thinking."

Almost with fear in his voice, "Oh, oh!"

"Smart ass. Actually lovely ass." He scowled at Timothy. "It's mine later today by the way." He leaned over and touched it. "No, Christmas. I would like to have some part of Christmas at our new home. Your parents gave you a lot of money. Pops has helped a lot. Philipo and Jamie have pitched in helping. It could be Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. Maybe Boxing Day although that is often a day of rest from the rush of the days before. Then I wondered about a New Years Eve party."

"You don't fool around do you?"

"Funny, William at work said that to me the day I took over the department. Just some thoughts."

"I really like the New Years Eve party and we could do some checking with people about Christmas. Don't want to step on any toes or traditions."

"Ah, my thoughtful lawyer. We can ask the dads for their advice but we could put together a list of names for New Years Eve. We could invite quite a few people. The place is big enough."

With excitement, Timothy, "Speaking of the place. I am busy most of tomorrow morning but I think that I could get away for an hour and a half at noon to be with our lawyer to sign the papers and get the keys. Maybe we could get a quick bite to eat and you could join me or you could come directly from work and sign them with me in the late noon hour. Mike is certain that he will have everything by then."

"I have a meeting at 9 with the staff and nothing after except the case that I am working on."

"Lunch it is. We can meet at the house after work. I want to see it before Tuesday. Pops' crews start Tuesday and they hope to be finished in two weeks and then the painters come in. I guess we might be able to move in the week before Boston or the week after, depending on whether the time estimates work out."

"You sound excited."

"I am. If someone had told me in April that I would meet a guy, I would have shrugged my shoulders and said no way. If someone had told me that I would hook up with someone and move in with him in July, I would have said they were nuts. If they had said that I would be moving into my new home with that guy in November, I would have recommended a psychiatrist. Excited as hell!"

He couldn't hold back his enthusiasm a second more. He grabbed Jeremy, hugged him and kissed him. "Let's go for a walk. Then we can check the chalet, close it up but leave the furnace running. It would be nice to arrive to a warm, dry place in January or even a weekend in December. Yeah I see your look. December is going to be busy. Well I can dream, a weekend at the chalet in front of the fire on a cold December evening." He gave Jeremy the look.

They wanted to get home to make certain the everything was in place for taking possession of the house and having Pops' crews starting on Tuesday. On the way home, Jeremy was not driving and he had a pad of paper making lists as they talked through what they needed for the Monday, Tuesday and the rest of the week. They had made their choices of cabinets, counter top and flooring; all that was waiting at the store that had provided them. They had chosen the type of window and outside door; they had been ordered a few weeks ago and they were already stored at Marchese Construction. Their table and chairs for the kitchen and the dining room set had been ordered and was in at the firms who were storing them until they were needed. They then started on a list for their trip to Boston.

Timothy looked at him quickly. "I am so looking forward to being in Boston with you. I know that I won't see you a lot during the day but I do want to attend your session with Michael and your session on Quick Tricks. I want to see you in action. Are you OK with that?"

"I have most of the Quick Tricks worked out in my mind and a lot of it in a computer file already. I don't mind; you'll probably just be one of a couple of people. Probably no one will turn up. I'll hear more about the session with Michael on Thursday. He really wants to meet you informally. You will enjoy Stephen Bourgeois. They remind me a lot of Jamie and Philipo, hopelessly in love." He paused. "I know the feeling."

"Good thing that I am driving. I'd be all over you right this minute."

"Later, babe. I can make that as a promise."

Both of the guys remembered the promise in the car and later, it was as intense as they both expected.

The next morning seemed to rush by. Both guys were glad that they had a busy schedule that morning. Finally the two were eating at Timothy's favourite deli. Jeremy remarked with full a mouth that he realized why Timothy sounded as he did when they talked on the cell when Timothy ate here. The smoked meat sandwiches were huge and delicious.

They finished signing the papers and Timothy's colleague ceremoniously handed over the keys with the ownership papers. The smiles on the two guys faces could not have been bigger. That brought a huge smile to his colleague's face.

Timothy looked as his guy. "See you at our new home after work." They did a fist bump. They wanted to kiss the other but figured that this was not time or place. That could happen in the new home later today.

Timothy was almost nervous as he drove down his new street. As he turned into the driveway, his first thought was that this was his first time parking in his own driveway. It felt strange but good. He got out of his car and did a quick tour of the grounds. Tomorrow it would be a construction site.

As he made his way back to the front door, he saw a man walking towards him. He looked to be in his forties and seemed to be coming from a house close to theirs.

The man spoke first. "I see that you have a key out. You must be the new owner."

Timothy, his hand out, "Timothy Malenfant."

"You must be waiting for the wife to arrive from work. Haven't seen her around."

Something put Timothy on the defensive. 'the wife', he said it as if she were his property. "No not married. I liked the neighbourhood, the style of houses and decided to make the investment and start here."

The neighbour looked at him clearly wondering how he could afford the place. "You must have a good job for this place."

Again, there appeared to be assumptions and he was being presumptuous, "Yes, I am a lawyer working for one of the biggest firms in the city. My parents gave my sister and me a fairly large sum to be used towards a house." He thought to himself, keep it simple but correct. Well mostly correct, he saw Jeremy's car coming down the street.

Jeremy turned into the laneway. The man added, "Ah, a friend coming to see the place."

Jeremy looked at the scenario and jumped out of the car. Timothy looked at the neighbour. "Sorry, I didn't catch your name. This is Jeremy Marchese-Milner, a friend."

"Frederick White, glad to meet you both. Well Timothy enjoy the house. It is a good neighbourhood. Good place to raise a family. The schools are good and it is so close to theatres and the Centre for the Performing Arts."

He walked away. Jeremy gave Timothy a strange look. They opened the front door. Inside with a trace of a smile, "Mm, I am a friend?"

"Sorry, there was something about the guy that I didn't trust. That was the first thing that came to mind. What exactly are we going to call each other? Friend, housemate ... partner?"

Jeremy paused and looked at his guy thoughtfully. "You know your mother and I heard some of what you said to your father, July 2. At one point you raised your steely, lawyer voice and you told him that if I had to leave that you would leave as well because we were spending the July 1 weekend together. I think from that day on that I felt that you and I were partners."

"I guess I figured that out on the day that I moved out of my parents' house. We have just never stated it. So ... partners, to the world?"

"Come here partner. Welcome to our new home."

He grabbed Timothy and they kissed. They held hands as they wandered around the house making comments on what was going to happen tomorrow and what they wanted to do with the place once it was ready for them. They both realized what a wonderful place that they had bought. They were truly excited.

As they left the house, the neighbour right beside them came out of his house. He was a man in his fifties. "You must be the new owners. Both of you or just one of you."

"We own it together." Jeremy held out his hand and then said, "This is my partner, Timothy Malenfant. I am Jeremy Marchese-Milner."

"I am Ron Bleeker. Welcome to the neighbourhood. It is going to be so exciting to have young professionals living in the house. Sorry, I assume from your cars and dress that you are young professionals."

They both liked the neighbour immediately. They gave their occupations and company names. "Just what I thought. I saw you talking to Mr. White. A word to the wise. Watch him. I don't think that he is going to like having two male partners owning this house."

"Thanks for the advice. By the way, it is going to be busy and noisy starting tomorrow. We are having the kitchen redone. There is an ensuite bathroom going in upstairs. A back porch is being built off the back of the house. The renovations are being done by Marchese Construction and my grandfather and dad who own it, tell us about two weeks to finish it. I am making a presentation to a Forensic Accounting conference in Boston in the middle of November so we may move in the week before or the week after. Here is my card. Any problems give me a call."

The neighbour looked impressed and pleased. The guys appeared to have scored their first victory with at least one neighbour and Timothy's impression of Mr. White had been spot on.

Timothy looked at the house on the other side of them. He pointed at it. "Maybe we should let them know what is happening."

They knocked on his door. Introductions were made. It was Timothy's turn to introduce Jeremy as his partner. It felt right. The neighbour's name was Victor and his wife was Irene. They had two children. The guy didn't bat an eye at his introduction of Jeremy. As it turned out, he was a lawyer who owned his own practice in the suburbs but he and his wife loved living in the centre of the city. Timothy and he chatted for a few minutes and the guy was impressed with Timothy's credentials and his position as Head of Department at such a prestigious firm. They let him know what was going to happen over the next couple of weeks. Again he seemed pleased that they had taken the time to warn them.

Both guys turned up at the house after work the next day. There was the huge waste bin on the front lawn and it was more than half full. The workers had laid down thick waterproof padding on the hardwood floors. The kitchen no longer existed. The kitchen floor was ripped out. The new window and back door were in the small room beside the kitchen. A large part of that wall was gone as they were going to open up the two rooms with a wide pocket door.

The crews had done a lot of demolition on the second floor as well. The bathroom upstairs had been renovated previously and they decided to leave it as is but there was part of a wall partially down between the master bedroom and bathroom beside it.

Their lovely house was a shambles. They decided that they would not return until it was being put back together. The new furnace, air conditioning unit and hot water on demand system would be installed next week. Pops had convinced them that the new systems were more efficient, quieter than the 15 year plus system that was there.

The guys made a snap decision. They didn't want any more work done for a long while after this was finished. They would visit a couple of fireplace shops and arrange for a gas fireplace to be installed on the Thursday of the next week. They hoped that the work crews would be almost finished by then. The furnace and AC was going in the day before. That made up their minds; the rug for the living room would have to wait as would the induction stove.

They walked around to the back and could see that there was evidence of work going on for the back porch. The old back steps and small porch had already disappeared. There were rows of sonotubes in the ground.

Victor had seen them come in. He came out and dragged them over to introduce them to his wife, Irene and the two children. In no time, Jeremy was on the floor playing with the two year old girl, Melanie and then the three and half year old son, Peter. He had them laughing and playing in moments. Timothy told them how good he was with his nephew Luc. If the two parents had any reservations about two male partners living beside them, it certainly did not show. Jeremy and he both felt really good about their two immediate neighbours. A great start.

Heather had good news for Jeremy. She had found exactly the course that she wanted to take at university starting in January. She told him that her partner Robert was excited for her. William couldn't stop thanking him for arranging for his time off and for suggesting to take Marie. Jeremy had been able to have the Friday and Monday at the conference as work days for William. He was still working on the Tuesday. Marie had been full of thanks to Jeremy for his arrangements. Jeremy was very pleased as he could see that he had made the right decisions.

The guys had enjoyed dinner with Michael and Stephen. Timothy and Stephen hit it right off with all sorts of rye comments about their accountant partners. Michael and Stephen grilled them on their new house and laughed as the guys described their reaction to the destroyed kitchen and upstairs no mans land. Indeed the house did still look like a battlefield. Michael had an unconditional yes and they agreed to sit down next week to plan in detail their plan for the presentation. They had thrown out a lot of ideas already. It was clear that both men would research and plan in detail their presentation. Both Michael and Jeremy knew that the other would do a lot to make the session the best they could.

The guys went over on Saturday late in the morning. The kitchen cabinets were in with the countertop installed. The granite looked spectacular. They had been told that the cabinet doors would be the last to go on to avoid scratches. The new window was in with all the trim installed. They had made the right decision. Both could see their table and chair in place. The view was excellent over the mostly completed back porch out to the garden. Pops and Philipo had obviously pulled out all the stops to get the work finished. The upstairs was better than earlier in the week but still needed a lot of work.

They had decided to go to the house on their way to football. They wanted to leave some time before their match. They were in their football kit and were heading off to the pitch after their visit to the house. Both their neighbours were outside and they invited Victor and Ron in to see what had been accomplished.

Victor was impressed. "The kitchen looks spectacular. Better not show it to Irene. You guys could cost me big bucks." They all chuckled

Ron, "The new window brightens the place up and the new door looks really good. Good job. I like how you have opened up the entire back area with the new sliding pocket door, very stylish."

"Thanks guys, that is exactly what we were trying to do. Pops, Jeremy's grandfather, called in some favours and we had really good designer help us do what we wanted to do."

"If he is the older man I see, he comes around every day. He obviously knows the crew and they jump to when he speaks. The crew is quiet and cleans up completely. There has not been any garbage out of place or a lot of noise for the entire week."

"We'll let Pops know that the neighbours love Marchese Construction. Pops built the company from the ground up. My dad, Philipo, now runs it with help from Pops."

Victor looking at Jeremy, "So Milner is your mom's name?"

"Oh boy, a complicated story. No, big tough Philipo is married to James Milner who is the head of The Accountants, my dads. I have a birth father and then my dads, Philipo and Jamie. Perhaps a story for another time."

Timothy jumped in to change the direction of the conversation. "We'll have you back next week when the cabinet doors are on and the floor is finished and it is close to being finished. Thanks for coming in and looking. We have a football match, one of the last of the season, to get to and Jeremy is our striker and manager. We'll see you next week." They got their neighbours phone numbers.

They looked at their watches and took them up stairs for a very quick tour. They were impressed by the design of the master bedroom. There wasn't a right angled wall in the ensuite bathroom. But there was a large shower and a large modern vanity with a very modern sink and toilet. When all the finishing touches were added, it was going to be elegant. It still left a lot of space for the master bedroom. The guys were really pleased.

The neighbours went off obviously intrigued by their new, young neighbours. They wished them a good game. They just made it to the pitch in time. The team had their words of wisdom from Jeremy and ended with a tied game. They still had a really good time at the pub after the game.

That night they celebrated in a more intimate way. There were several times when both guys shut their eyes to simply take in the incredible feelings that the other was giving them. Covered in each others finish, Jeremy looked down at Timothy. "Lover, I am so glad that we have announced ourselves as partners. It somehow makes a great transition into our big adventure. I am so proud to stand beside you as my partner."

The entire family could not be kept away after church. The Malenfants had joined them at church that day. There was almost a convoy of cars arriving at their home. Pops took them on a tour and the house looked great even in its unfinished state. Timothy's mother put her arm her son and told him she was so pleased. His father surprised Timothy as he was equally demonstrative. Momma could not stop praising the work.

The guys had talked about it and they had checked with Pops. They invited everyone back for a picnic at the house for next Sunday. Everyone volunteered to bring food. The guys phoned the company that had the tables and chairs for the kitchen and dining room and they were to be delivered on Friday afternoon. Pops had agreed to be there to receive and sign for the shipment. The guys collected the two rugs that they had bought on their way home. They actually went out and bought some folding chairs and a folding table late on Sunday that they knew that they would use in the future and stored them in the basement away for the installation area of the furnace, water heater and AC. If it was a nice day, they would sit on the deck. If not, it would be inside. They arranged to have the dining room painted on Friday. One room would be finished. Pops had agreed to have his crew put in the stove and refrigerator on Friday. The dishwasher would be connected the next week.

The week went quickly. Jeremy finished his two presentations for the conference and Timothy had several meetings with the Head of Planning and they finalized the choice of furniture, rugs, paint colours and the start time for the conference room addition. It would start the next week after the Boston conference and would end in early December. Timothy figured that it would not be as busy as other seasons.

The guys went over on Friday night with the rugs and some paper plates and throw away glasses. They had a few bottles of wine that would go well with a picnic. They were totally surprised. The place was spotless. The protective mats were gone, stored in the basement where they discovered that all the furnace work was done. The water heater was working and the stove was connected and the refrigerator was cold. Pops had put the table in the kitchen with a lovely potted plant on it. The kitchen was even more beautiful than they had imagined. The back porch had a beautiful outdoor table with six matching chairs. There was a note on the kitchen table from Pops that simply said 'Momma and I chose this for our wonderful grandsons.' True to form Timothy was in tears. Jeremy was not far behind.

They loved the new gas fireplace that was working. They turned it on and they really liked the logs set in it and the distribution of the flames.

Before going upstairs, they moved the new dining room table and chairs and laid down the oriental rug. When the table was put back, the room which had been painted was stunning.

They ventured upstairs. The ensuite was almost finished. There were a lot of finishing touches that were needed but it was exactly what they wanted. There was a big warning not to use the bathroom at all. That was OK as the old bathroom was connected and working. It too need some final finishing.

Before they left, they invited Victor and family and Ron and his wife to join them at the family picnic. They decided to invite Frederick White and his wife. As Timothy said he had come down to welcome them to the neighbourhood.

They knocked on the front door. Frederick opened it. He looked at the two of them. He was obviously thinking of what he would say.

"You didn't exactly tell me the truth the other day about your 'friend'."

"You are correct. You took me by surprise ... not your fault and I answered the first thing that came to mind. Jeremy is my best friend but as you probably have found out, he is more than that. We are partners. We own the house jointly. We have come to invite you for a little get together on Sunday after church. We have invited our families and Ron and Barbara and Victor and Irene. We are calling it a picnic. We aren't moving in until the middle of the month. Jeremy is presenting at a conference in Boston so it is either the week before or the week after."

"After church, you go to church?"

"Almost every Sunday with Jeremy's family but my family are joining us this Sunday."

"Your name is Malenfant, that is French and probably Catholic. Your relationship is not sanctioned by the church. I am Catholic and our priest is very definite about that!"

Timothy, "Sounds like Father Pierre at my parents' church. You know that many churches and even some priests in the Catholic church have a more nuanced view of our relationship." He saw the look on Jeremy's face with the word 'nuanced'. Mr. White stiffened at the comment.

"Sometimes one must take a stand!"

"Frederick, I don't want to get into an argument over this issue right now. I would be glad to sit down and discuss it with you any time. I see the church zeroing in on homosexuality because it is scared to to its foundations since all the revelations of priests and young, underage boys and then the way that church reacted to it at the beginning. OK, my apologies, my fault, I said too much. I promised to not get into that right now.

You were kind enough to come down and welcome me to the neighbourhood and we would enjoy having you, with our family and some neighbours. Come over between 12 and 1 for a light lunch. Jeremy's grandmother, Momma, will probably bring a feast with her. I treat her as my grandmother too. It is their church that we are going to. It is actually my church now."

Hesitantly, "I'll talk it over with my wife. Would we bring anything?"

"If I know my families, we shall be able to feed the multitudes. There will be wine, beer and soft drinks; again enough to serve more than the number coming. We would like you to join us. Oh by the way, the construction should be finished by mid week. There is a little finishing to be done and Pops, our grandfather, has told us Wednesday or his guys are in big trouble."

Jeremy interrupted. "Sorry, Frederick, we have a football match and I am team manager so we have to get to the pitch very soon."

"I have to say you two don't fit the image I have in my mind of two guys who are partners."

"We are just that two guys who happen to love each other. I know a difficult concept but .... We would like to see you on Sunday. Come over when you see all the cars arriving."

Timothy looked a little unsure. "I don't know if he will come but you know he seemed a bit more relaxed when he left."

"You were great. Your words, 'you were kind enough to come and welcome me to the neighbourhood'. Well said. Let's get going. We are just going to make it."

Timothy couldn't help himself. He pulled Jeremy to himself and just held for a few seconds. "OK, a game to win and enjoy, manager. I suppose you have your speech and tactics all worked out."

"Yep!" Big Jeremy smile.

They won 3-1 and as usual, Jeremy had spread the word not to make the score any higher.

Sunday was a beautiful day, unusual for November in the city,. The guys left very quickly after the service. Momma and Pops gave Father Gregory an invitation to join the group. As Pops told him, he was responsible for Jeremy meeting his dads and becoming part of the family. He accepted.

When everyone arrived, they would have all the drinks and glasses set out. They had brought their Nespresso machine over for anyone who wanted espresso. In addition, they had tea and a kettle. They brought some serving platters over to make it look a little more formal. They would bring out the Prosecco when people started to arrive. They put some bowls of chips and nuts. They had brought cut up vegetables and arranged them on a platter in the refrigerator until the arrivals.

Finally they heard the first car arrive. It was Jamie and Philipo. Jamie came in and looked in the dining room. "Ah guys, this is fantastic. The rug looks terrific. I really like the new table, smashing. Show us the kitchen."

Jamie and Philipo both almost gasped with pleasure. Philipo, "You really did take your ideas from my old kitchen. Updated but it looks incredible. Is that the table and chairs out on the deck that Pops and Momma have been talking about?"

Timothy, "We were almost overwhelmed with that. The note said to our wonderful grandsons. Philipo, you have no idea how wonderful that makes me feel to be called their grandson."

Philipo put his arm around Timothy. "You two look so happy. Like Jamie and Jeremy, you have joined the family."

Both Jamie and Jeremy were smiling broadly. Jamie had his arm over Jeremy's shoulder. He looked at Jeremy. "I could never have imagined that the lout I met at Father Gregory's so many years ago would be showing me his and his partner's beautiful new home. The lout who now virtually heads a department in my business and has become the second largest shareholder in the company. I can't tell you how happy I am. I am so glad that you have found your someone as I have." he squeezed him tightly.

Momma and Pops arrived. Momma could not contain her excitement about how wonderful the house looked and she enveloped her grandsons with hugs and kisses. They hurried Momma out to see the table on the deck with platters of food and drink on it.

Neighbours started to arrive with yet more food even though the guys had told them not to bring anything. Tours were given as people sipped their beverage. There was finally a ring of the door bell and Timothy and Jeremy answered together. It was Frederick and his wife, Emily. After the welcome, they took them out and introduced them to everyone. Timothy made a point of searching out his father and they were introduced to him.

One of the best moments was the arrival of Father Gregory. He was dressed in very simple non clerical clothes. After they showed him around, they introduced him to Timothy's father and then to Frederick and his wife. Later in the afternoon, they did notice the three in a deep conversation.

Gio and Kevin were out of town and finally Tony's family was being given the tour. His cousins really like the ensuite bathroom. It was Marcus who smiled and whispered to Timothy that the shower enclosure was obviously big enough for two. Marcus was of an age now that he would notice something like that. He was old enough that Timothy could joke with him about such things.

"Do you think so? Never crossed my mind. I'll mention your idea to Jeremy." Big smile. Marcus just smiled back as he gave Timothy a jock's hit to the upper arm.

They had had almost everyone there. They put the food out on the table on the deck. They carried out the drinks to the folding table that they had bought. The guys had everyone come to the deck.

Jeremy looked at each person there. "Timothy and I feel blessed. Our families are our support. We wanted to share our new place with our families who has helped us in so many ways. But we also wanted to share it with our new neighbours as well. Finally, with the man who caused all this to start for me, Father Gregory who called in my dad, Jamie, to straighten me out when I was doing badly in school and at home. My dads changed my life. Finally to my new family, who have accepted me as their son. Join us in a toast to family and new friends."

The two guys toasted everyone with thank yous and then looked at each other. Very quietly, Jeremy looked at his guy, "To you love."

The food was delicious. The conversation was stimulating. They heard and saw movement in the kitchen. MC, Pierre and Luc had arrived.

The back door opened and suddenly Luc was running full tilt towards Jeremy. "Unc, Jrmy, Unc Tmty" he launched him self and was caught by Jeremy and help up high over Jeremy's head. There were his usual screams of delight with delighted smiles from everyone there. Then the hugs from his Unc Tmty. When Timothy put him down, Jeremy had a shadow companion who would not leave him.

Finally, the entire family was there, supporting them, celebrating with them. What an incredible day.
