With a mischievous smile, Phoebe looked at them. "Some of the girls at my table are very disappointed. Some of my friends wondered if you two were together. Then we saw you dance, wow. I was so glad that Mark came and asked me to dance and uhm, clarified his orientation." She laughed.

They didn't even ask Mark if he needed a drive. He had left his car at his apartment and walked to their place. He could catch a taxi or walk. As the smart ass remarked that it would be easier to get a cab in the morning rather than this time of the night.

Robert looked at him. "You are such a romantic."

Lucas looked him. "We aren't talking romance here. Christ he hasn't been with Liz for almost two weeks. I can't even manage you celibate for two days."

With a smile, "You can't manage missing it for a day or should I say twice a day." He pulled his guy into him and gave him a quick kiss. Another dance and they went home.

Lucas got his second time that day. Robert didn't seem to mind one bit.

Present

On Saturday morning, Robert and Lucas both went in to work. The next week was going to be another very busy. They were leaving early on Thursday morning and driving to Toronto with the computer equipment and the material for their table where they would be answering questions and hopefully selling product.

Robert hadn't been there for more than half an hour when Mark came in. Robert looked at him. "I didn't expect you in today."

"I would have come in earlier but I had to get home, shave and change my clothes. I have things that I wanted to do today." He looked at Robert. "I know that this is sudden and unexpected." He smiled. "Phoebe would like to come to the conference and help out. She is fascinated by Forensic+ and our entire operation."

With a smile, "You don't do things in half measures."

"Boss. She is breath of fresh air. Yes I went back for a drink and things did get a bit hot. She is not on the pill and I had no condoms so yes we slept in the same bed but we didn't sleep together. A bit frustrating but a really good evening and breakfast." With a smile, "Guess where I went first on the way here."

"Shoppers (a drug store chain in Canada) and it wasn't for shaving cream! You say that she wants to come to the conference and help."

"She would drive down on Thursday after work. She is taking a day of holiday leave. Apparently, she has a lot that she hasn't used and she wants a break from work and perhaps some time in Toronto. I told her that she could stay with me. Is that alright?"

"Mark to see you so excited and in on Saturday morning, how I could possibly complain. You did tell her exactly what you wanted her to do?" He saw the positive shake of Mark's head. "Good. I can't pay her but let's see what we can manage. Is that OK?"

"Anything that you could do would be a bonus. Boss, your suggestion to go to the pub with me was exactly what I needed. Even if this doesn't work out in the long run, I feel invigorated and hopeful. OK, is there anything that you want me to do today? I have some things that I want to go over but I can do anything else that you want."

"Basically, I want to really test the program and make certain it is totally stable. There is a little bit of programming on the opening screen that I would like you to work on. I'll give you the details in a few minutes. We can put some packages together to hand out at the conference. I want to work on my presentation. I have had some ideas that I want to incorporate into the presentation. Lucas and I have worked on some funny dialogue between us to help lighten the presentation."

They worked hard for the rest of the day with a quick break for lunch with Lucas which Robert paid for. As they were about to leave for the day, Robert thanked Mark for the work that day. "Any plans for tonight."

With a bit of a shy smile, Mark looked at him. "I am invited back to Phoebe's. It appears that I might need the purchase I made at Shoppers. Well, if I bring some Vietnamese food back with me."

"I don't need to purchase anything at Shoppers but perhaps I should bring some food home with me as well. I might get lucky too."

"Boss from what I saw at the pub last night, you are a very lucky guy."

"I am indeed. See you tomorrow. Oh tell Phoebe that we would like to have her at the conference and the presentation."

Robert entered The Accountants and went to Lucas' office. He was working on his computer. Robert went up behind him and put his hands on his shoulders and started massaging them.

"Now I know how you felt yesterday. Feels so good. Is it really time to go home?"

"Yep, I am going to buy some food to take home. I don't want us to have to cook. By the way, Mark came in this morning. He felt that he was a little late. He had to go home, shave and change his clothes this morning. But you were wrong. She was not on the pill and there were no condoms. Slept in the same bed but that was all. He said it was frustrating. He went to Shoppers this morning and he feels that he might be able to use his purchase this evening. Well if he brings food for supper. So I figured that if I brought food home, I might get lucky."

"Well, if you get lucky, then I get lucky. Let's share the cost to cover all possibilities."

"You're on."

Later, in post coital bliss, they both agreed that they really did get lucky. Robert hoped that Mark felt as lucky as they did. Mark looked very relaxed and happy the next morning. Robert made no comments.

On Monday at the end of the day, as he had hoped, the evaluations started arriving. After the staff had left, he and Mark had stayed to see the evaluations. One company said that they were doing a very detailed evaluation and it would arrive early on Tuesday morning. Mark and Robert started going over them. Both sighed with relief. All the evaluations were positive and all had high praise for Forensic+. All were going to send in electronic transfers to buy the year's subscription. All the companies agreed that they could be quoted at the conference and in hand outs about their evaluation. Robert breathed a sigh of relief and muttered one word, `income'.

He sent all of the evaluations to his home computer. He wanted to incorporate them in his presentation that he and Lucas were giving. He had sent everyone home early except for Mark and asked them to come in early on Tuesday if they could. It was going to be another long day.

He rushed down to The Accountants. Lucas was in a conversation with one of his guys. The guy looked at Robert and then looked back at Lucas. "Thanks Lucas, a really good way of looking at that case. See you tomorrow."

Lucas looked around knowing that someone was behind him. "It's Monday, evaluation day and you look ready to explode. In a good way.

Robert held out a copy of an evaluation. "They are all like this or better."

Lucas read it. He put it down on a desk and moved to Robert. He put his arms around him and swung him around and then kissed him. "Your dream is coming true. I am so proud of you."

"Hey, our dream. Without your insights and methods, I wouldn't know what to code. Team work. All the companies who did the evaluations have committed to buying the year's lease. Well, one is doing a more detailed evaluation and I don't know what it will say."

"If they didn't like it, they wouldn't be spending any time on a detailed evaluation."

There was a clearing of a throat. They turned. His dad was standing at the door. "From the look of it, evaluation day is what you hoped that it would be. What I knew that it would be!" He moved towards them and joined the hug. "I am proud of both of you. I am so looking forward to your presentation. Timothy has ordered some take out food. Come over for a small celebration. I know that it is still early days but we have been using Forensic+ for several months and it has just become better and better. You guys have nailed it."

They stepped in the door of his dads' place. Timothy was there waiting for them. "Our men, entrepreneurs. Jeremy phoned me. Could we see the evaluations?"

"Yes, I can access my email file from here. Do you want to see them now or after supper? All positive and one coming that is more detailed but as Lucas said, if they didn't like it, they would not spend time on a detailed evaluation. All the others are committed to having the lease for the next year. INCOME!"

His laugh and relief was infectious. They had a great supper and were impressed with the evaluations. Finally, Robert looked at his dads. "I have some things that I want to do this evening for work tomorrow. Thanks so much for this but we have to run."

Back home, Lucas wanted to be involved. "Can I do anything to help?"

"Yes, go through the evaluations and pick out any changes that they think should be made. I want to make a priority list of things that we can do in the next day and what will have to wait for a revised program in a few weeks or a month. I don't want to destabilize the program. I am going to do the same thing as you. We'll see if our lists coincide."

"Yes master and CEO of Creative Computer Services and Software Design."

"Smart Ass!"

"Yours certainly is. It's my turn tonight."

"Now there is an incentive. Get to work, slave."

By 10 that night, they had their lists and Robert had made another list of assignment that he wanted the staff to do as priorities on Tuesday. He printed his list by the person responsible and their task(s) and his list of possible changes to Forensic+ for himself and Mark. He would consult with Mark on the order of the priorities and what was possible and what was not possible so quickly. He would make a copy of Forensic+ when he was in the next morning, just in case what they did bugger up the program.

Lucas had turned off the lights in the apartment except for the computer room, the hall and the bedroom. He pulled Robert to him and kissed him. "I love that look when you take charge. You look so hot when you do it." Lucas put his arm over Robert's shoulders and turned off the lights as the left the computer room and the hall. He had only turned on a bedside table lamp. Lucas made Robert stop beside the bed and Lucas sat on the bed looking up at Robert.

Lucas smiled. "We haven't done this for a while. Strip! I want it slow and sexy."

Robert's strip tease was provocative. He turned the table on Lucas and made him it do it for him. It was a great way to finish their evening.

It was one of the most intense sessions that they had had in a while. Their finish was within seconds of the other. They lay on the bed just looking at each other. It was Robert who spoke first. "It does just get better and better. Thanks for the help tonight. I feel ready for tomorrow." He leaned over and gave his guy a final kiss.

Robert was in to the office very early. He had printed out the evaluations with a copy for each person and then the lists that he had made for each person. He sat for a few minutes at his computer and added some of the dialogue between Lucas and himself that he wanted in the presentation to lighten it up a bit.

Mark was the first in. "Boss, all I could think of on the way in was that final evaluation. Did it come in?"

"Not yet but I have all the other evaluations printed and assigned to various staff members." Mark had been so helpful in the last days that he handed him a copy of the evaluations and his assignments. He sat and read them. He looked up. "Boss this is fantastic. You know there are some easy changes that we could make on the program."

"I have already saved a copy of Forensic+ as a back up and that is exactly what you and I are going to do today. There is one evaluation to come. They said that it would be in today and it is going to be detailed. I hope that Lucas is correct. He figures that if they disliked Forensic+, they wouldn't bother doing anything."

Robert went off to open his computer and get ready for the meeting scheduled for 8:15. It was going to be a long day. He search his unopened emails. He noticed the email which he was looking for. He opened it up and scanned it. Then unbelieving, he read it slowly. They could probably hear his exclamation all over the office. "Holy fuck!!!" He printed 7 copies and forwarded the email to Lucas' computer downstairs.

The staff were sitting around the table waiting and with an anxious look of wondering what was going on. He passed the newly printed email to his staff. Mark was the first to respond. "Holy shit, Boss. This is fantastic."

"Are up trying to out holy me?"

That broke the tension. They all chuckled. They heard the door to the office being opened." Lucas came striding in to the office. "I can't believe that review but it sure the hell is correct."

"It certainly has us all swearing. OK, here is what I want you to do today. Lucas you can go back to The Accountants and earn your salary. The rest of you listen up."

Smart ass couldn't help himself. "Yes lord and master. Your wish is my command." There was a big smile on both their faces and a loving look.

There were several interested faces and looks. They hardly ever heard Lucas and Robert speaking English to each other.

They all worked very hard that day. Mark and Robert agreed on what suggestions that they would implement that day and which ones to leave for later. Paula emailed all the companies who had done the evaluations and she had coordinated with Mark as to what they had done with a companies suggestions and included that in the email with a thank you for doing such a good job for them. Robert sent a personal email to the CEO of the firm that had given them the incredible review. He knew how he was going to use that review. He would end the presentation with it. Wednesday went well and at the end of that day Robert declared that Forensic+ was ready. He had finished his presentation. Mark and he had all the computer equipment ready to load in the SUV along with all the handouts for the presentation.

Lucas and he took the entire staff out for dinner that night to thank them for all their work. They had the next two days off with pay. He did ask Paula to use her access to the answering machine on the telephone and he asked Jake to check the email account from his home computer or his telephone just to be on the safe side.

The last thing that Lucas said to Robert after a rather active time in bed. "Lover, it is going to go well. Your dream."

The drive to Toronto was long and tiring. They had told Mark to take the 401 to the 407 entrance. Robert really, really disliked the 401 with its huge volume of traffic especially in Toronto and he had told Mark that he would pay the toll on the 407 which would take them fairly close to the convention venue. (For American readers all 400 highways in Ontario are like the Interstates in the US, any where from 4 lane or more, highways with a median separating the lanes and limited access with entrances and exits onto and off the highway.)

They finally arrived and had their equipment safely in their room. Mark had followed them in his car. They had registered together. They had made good time and it was in time for lunch. They went in to the dining room. Both Robert and Lucas stopped looking at the table in the corner. There were his fathers and Lucas' father. They almost ran over to the table. "Dad and Papa, it is so good to see you."

Lucas was immediately over to his father. "Dad I knew that you were coming but it is so good to have you here."

Robert looked at his Dad. "So Dad is your keynote address ready for tomorrow morning?"

It was Timothy who spoke up. He rolled his eyes as if he were asking god to give him patience. "I have suffered through every iteration of it for weeks now. I told him this morning that it was ready and I didn't want to hear anything more!!!" Even his Dad laughed. Robert thought that was why their relationship had flourished. He looked at Lucas and he knew that they would react the same way to each other. In fact, Lucas had come close to saying something like that on the drive to Toronto.

Jeremy looked at Robert. "Is your presentation as you want it?"

Robert wasn't surprised when Lucas spoke up looking at Timothy and then Jeremy. "We had somewhat the same conversation on the drive here." Looking at Robert with a smile. "Mr. I Want It Perfect went over and over the presentation for what seemed like hours."

"Well, we have to get it right. They were just suggestion and ideas."

"No it was repetitious. We know what we are going to do and say and we'll do it."

Jeremy jumped in. "Stop bickering. I'm hungry."

Together with mock indignation. "We aren't bickering."

The table broke in to laughter, especially Robert and Lucas. Robert put his arm over Lucas' shoulder and moved him to a place at the table. He muttered to Lucas. "I guess I can get a little too involved."

"You think?"

In a whisper, "If we were alone, you would get a big, wet kiss."

Again in a whisper, "Hold that thought."

The rest of the day went by quickly. They enjoyed Michael Burtchell's welcoming address. They had an early dinner with family and Michael joined them. There was general chit chat around the table. Lucas could tell that his guy was not really with them. Lucas knew how much this meant to himself but Lucas had a back up. He was assistant head of the Forensic section at The Accountants. Robbie had chosen to set up his own company and start with a major piece of software. As Lucas knew, it was a major gamble but from his work with Forensic+, the program was a game changer for Forensic Accounting. This was a huge moment in Robert's life; he had no back up. Lucas looked at his guy who was talking to Lucas' dad. He looked so calm and cool but Lucas could read some signs that said otherwise. He put his arm over Robert's shoulder. Yeah, Lucas felt him snuggle in to those arms.

Lucas spoke up. "Can I interrupt. Dad, we have a long day and I think that we need some relax time and some sleep. Robbie do want to go back to our room?"

Robert, looking at Mr. Stephenson, "Dad would you mind? I have to be at my best tomorrow. My guy can read me like a book."

They said their goodnight. In their room, he looked at Lucas. "Thanks for that."

"You weren't quite with us tonight. I know why. I know how important tomorrow is for you. I am with you; we are a team." Lucas looked at him with a soft look. "I told you to hold a thought earlier today. Can I collect now?"

Robert looked puzzled and then his face lit up. He reached over and gave his guy a big, wet kiss. That was all it took. The dam burst opening the flood gates. Within minutes, there was nothing in this world but the two of them and their sculpted bodies which were the same as when they were on the hockey team at university. Each touch and kiss was delicious. One moment Lucas was on top kissing with Robert's hands roaming Lucas' back and butt. Fingers ran up and down his entrance. Then Robert forced Lucas over and he was on top of Lucas with Lucas' hands roaming that wonderful bubble butt. Fingers went in the opening. Robert moaned. "Lucas take me like this. I need you in me." It was like a plea for help.

Robert was off Lucas and he came back with the lube. He quickly lathered it on Lucas and then went back on top of Lucas. He reached back and put Lucas at his opening, moved back and took him all the way without stopping. Robert's eyes closed as he enjoyed the heat and the big object that had invaded him. He set the pace moving up and down on Lucas. Soon Lucas was moving with him pushing into him as Robert moved down. Lucas was moaning as he started to speed up. Both knew that this was not going to last long. Lucas moved his hands up to Robert's nipples and caressed them and then pinched. Robert cried out; it was like electricity flowing through him. He reached down and pinched Lucas' nipples and leaned over and kissed him. They both sped up and suddenly he felt Lucas put his hand around Robert's purple straining cock. That was all it took. Robert felt the sudden incredible feeling in his groin and he was shooting shot after shot over Lucas' chest. Lucas increased his the speed and he gasped as he slammed into Robert. As he gasped, he called out `Robbie' and lost himself in the waves of pleasure that flooded his body.

Lucas was on his side breathing hard looking down at Robert who was also breathing hard. "Robbie, I don't know how we do that to each other but that was fucking amazing."

"I guess we both kind of like big, wet kisses." Robert gave him another big, wet kiss and they fell asleep.

They were at breakfast the next morning and Robert was all business. They had checked when they could move their equipment in to the meeting room where they would make their presentation. They had been lucky; they had been scheduled for 1:30, right after lunch. That meant that they could set up early and be prepared for the presentation.

They were in the large meeting room and he only heard parts of his Dad's keynote address. Robert had not realized how many people would be attending this conference. He saw that a lot of American firms had sent people. It was a major conference for accounting firms. He tried hard not to think about what he had to do in just a few hours and how important that was to his years of work on Forensic+. He pushed back the thoughts of what he would do if he crashed and burned. No, he quietly thought, The Accountants had been using the program for months and everyone had assured him that it was a great addition to how they worked a case. However, in a couple of hours, he had to convince a group of savvy business men that they should adopt his work of several years. Would they just see a very young man who was not a forensic accountant trying to tell them how to change their methods? OK he told himself, stop these thoughts. He and Lucas could do it. If not, he would use his firm to branch out and do things like designing web sites, setting up data bases and installing computer systems for small companies.

He heard laughing. He didn't even know what his dad had said. Robert had been off in his own world. He forced himself to look and listen. There was his Dad. He had the audience in his hands. He was funny. He was serious. He knew how to work the crowd. He remembered his Dad's words to him just a week ago. `Robert, I started my career at The Accountants when I was your age. There were some tough moments but I had my vision. You are bright. Keep your focus, hire good people and try to enjoy it. You have something that I didn't have; you have the drive to create a new company with a very important product'.

The speech was over and people were surrounding his Dad congratulating him on his excellent keynote address. Right, the one his son had missed almost completely. Robert had decided that he would go back to their room and go through his presentation again. Lucas had signed up for a session that morning. He had asked Robert if that was OK. Robert had encouraged him to go. He wanted some time alone and he knew that Lucas had worked very hard on his part of the presentation but Robert was the host who had to set the correct tone.

He went through the presentation twice with his computer showing the graphics which would be projected onto a large screen. He looked at his watch. It was lunch time. He had really lost track of time. He called Mark and had him come up to the room. They would transfer the equipment and the hand outs and the small device that he had for taking credit cards for sales. Phoebe arrived with Mark. They both looked smashing as young professionals. He would change after setting up the room and a quick lunch.

"Phoebe, good to see you. You and Mark certainly look like the young professionals that you are. Let's get this stuff down and set up. I would like one of you to stay with the equipment while I have a quick bite to eat and change my clothes. Is that OK?"

Mark looked at him with a smile. "Yes, boss, I think ... that we could manage that."

"Smart ass."

"Boss, you call Lucas that all the time. I'll take it as a compliment." Robert smiled. He was certainly seeing Mark becoming someone else. It was good.

They were set up and everything was working. It was 12:30. Robert blew air out of his mouth. One hour to go. He got a coffee and sandwich and took it up to their room. As he finished changing, Lucas came in to the room."

Lucas came over to him and gave him a peck on the lips. He gave Robert a suggestive look as his eyes scanned him from head to toes. "Looking good sir. I like the pants, the shirt and the jacket. The young confident executive."

"Oh, shit, I don't feel that way right now. I'll take my food with me and see you in meeting room. Love you a lot Lucas Stephenson."

"Back at you, Robert Malenfant, CEO." Another kiss and he was gone.

Phoebe and Mark had everything set up. They showed him that it was working and they arranged a signal and that would signal to go to the next graphic. He managed to keep his food down and the strong coffee gave him a lift. Please let it last til the end of the presentation', he said to himself. Lucas had arrived. They had set up so that each of them would have a stool to sit on. It was easy to stand up if they wanted to say something important to the audience.

He was talking to Phoebe about what he wanted her to do at the end of the presentation when he heard noise behind him. He breathed in deeply; delegates were arriving filling up the last few rows of seats. Shit it was 1:20. He gulped.

When he finally finished with his last minutes words to Mark and Phoebe, he looked around. He was shocked. There were his dads, Mr. and Mrs. Stephenson, Jamie and Philipo, Charles Hunter, his friend and mentor at university and his husband, Emile Levesque. The room was full, with people standing at the back.

At exactly 1:30, Robert turned on his microphone, turned and looked at Lucas and mouthed `love you'. Putting all his worries aside, he stood up straight, pulled back his shoulder and strode to the front of the stage. OK, even if Forensic+ crashes and burns, it is going to be a great presentation that they will remember.

"Good afternoon. I am Robert Malenfant, CEO of Creative Computer Services and Software Design. Today, I am going to talk and demonstrate a new computer program, Forensic+. I shall be joined by my partner Lucas Stephenson." He turned to acknowledge Lucas. "Some background. I graduated from university a year ago with a degree in Computer Technology. If I do say so myself, I graduated with As and A+s in all my courses. I structured my courses through out my university time to make it possible to be able to offer you this program. I first thought of the concept of computers aiding forensic accounting when I worked my first summer after high school graduation at The Accountants. I figured that I could start some programming that year or the next summer. Luckily, I didn't manage to do one darn thing that summer after my first year at university. Why luckily? I had taken an accounting course my first year and then two forensic courses the next year; I realized then that I didn't know enough at that time. However, I specialized in computer courses that optimized those areas that I knew that I would have to use for such a program. After many courses and countless hours, Forensic+ slowly started to emerge after my second year at university. That was when my partner became important to this program."

He looked over at Lucas. Lucas mimicked him. He stood and strode to the front of the stage and stood slightly ahead of Robert. "My name is Lucas Stephenson. Robert and I met when we were assigned the same room in August of our first year of university. We were there to try out for the university hockey team. We made the team. We became co-captains of the university hockey team and became best friends. I followed in my father's footsteps and took accounting courses to work towards my CPA. I too worked at The Accountants in the summer and I started to specialize in forensic accounting. I am now a CPA and the assistant head of the forensic division of The Accountants."

He paused. "Robert ended by saying that I became important to the program as Forensic+ started to emerge. I think that I should correct that statement. I became crucial to the process from the start!!!"

Robert frowned. "I have to interject here myself. You can't code or understand the computer languages that would be necessary for such a program. No coding, no Forensic+!"

"Phff, you took a couple of classes in forensic accounting. I work REAL cases and I have worked with the best, Michael Burtchell, Jeremy Marchese-Milner and of course James Milner. No input from me, you have nothing to code."

"Ah, I could have many people to fill your position. Look around you." He stopped and thrust out his arm and slowly pointed over the audience. "Most of this audience are forensic accountants."

Sighing dramatically and rolling his eyes, "I could hire some really good computer experts."

Mark had been given his cue. "Stop bickering!" He paused. "We have an audience who wants to hear what you have to offer. Geez my job depends on you."

Together, "We aren't bickering." As they had hoped, there was chuckling in the room.

Robert looked at Lucas and paused. "OK, you have point. We are both necessary. Fifty, fifty?"

Lucas with a look of triumph. Slowly, "Much ... better."

Robert smiled at Lucas and turned to the smiling crowd. The thought went through his mind; it looked as if they had the audience. They had established their bona fides in that little back and forth of bickering. Show time. He scanned the room. With authority, "We know that Forensic+ is going to have a major impact on forensic accounting! It has taken us four years but it works ... and we want to show you why and how. Here is what Forensic+ does."

On cue, the first image was flashed on the screen.
